Last week I had an opportunity to photograph these two adorable little girls in the gardens of the Morikami Museum. It is a beautiful location, and while it was a rather hot and humid evening, the girls didn't seem to mind!

Love the Dress!

It's the latest rage in Wedding Photography! Originating in the mid-west, "Trash the Dress" photo-shoots are now happening all over the country. It is a concept some find rather distasteful ("What do you mean you going to TRASH your wedding dress?"), but it has evolved to mean different things to different brides and photographers. I've decided to call it "Love the Dress." The idea is to give a women a chance to don her wedding gown again for a fun and unique photoshoot.

Last week I had the opportunity to join five other photographers for a "practice" TTD session in Miami Beach. A fellow photographer modeled for us as we made our way down Lincoln Road and ended up at the beach. Here are some of the fun shots I got!

This was such a fun beach session! I drove through a rain shower on the way there, but it turned out to be a gorgeous morning. And as you can see, the featured family is gorgeous too!

Stop and climb the trees

You know the adage, "Stop and smell the roses?" I talked my daughter into putting on a pretty dress so I could take her picture, but I never told her she couldn't stop and climb the trees! I love that about her-- her "joie de vivre," or joy for life, and I hope she never loses it.
