Happy Friday Guys! I've decided to start another feature for the blog! I've gotten a few requests from readers and sometimes I'm just not able to find a good "copy cat". Sooo, I figured more heads is better than one. How do you all feel like helping out a fellow reader? Let's give it a shot shall we?

This week's reader request is from Lelis. She's looking for an alternative to Williams Sonoma Home's Cosmopolitan Console Table. This is a gorgeous piece, but the price tag? Not so gorgeous. ;) At $1,250 it's a little more than the average person would want to spend on a console table, dontcha think?

This is a great little console table that I'd love to use in an entryway or hallway. Love that it has drawers for some storage. Ballard Designs has it available for the reasonable price of $349. That's not too bad, but there is a slightly cheaper version out there for you folks!

My latest project was to come up with a bright and airy design for a studio apartment for less than $3,000. My client likes to have people over a lot so she wanted plenty of sitting space. For seating I gave her a small sofa, a bench, a Moroccan pouf, a couple of trunks that can be used as a coffee tables or seating and a couple of bar stools. Also, by placing the bed long-ways against the wall it can function as a daybed/sofa. The trunks, bench and nightstand all have storage. And she has a casual eating area with the bar table and stools.

I used white as the backdrop and accented it with natural touches: wood, grasscloth and leather. I also shined it up a bit with the pewter velvet, the gray tufted quilt, the aluminum end table, the steel bar table and the silver chandelier. I hope you guys like it!
