Not just on the road. Some consequences have a more severe impact on us in this life. God holds us accountable for all of our sins, even those that no one knows about except God (evil in our hearts). God allows us to come as we are because we are unable to be good all of the time. Isn't it grand. But, it doesn't absolve us of our responsibility to, at all times, attempt to be like Christ.
