It was entirely my doing.

WillWillThttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04793871385416568565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30786249.post-72671253479277344332007-09-10T07:50:00.000+01:002007-09-10T07:50:00.000+01:00Will, Sorry that your post got deleted. Blogger sc...Will,

Sorry that your post got deleted. Blogger screwed up and placed a copy of your message into the moderation queue six hours after we approved the original. Thinking you had posted again I deleted the comment only to find that blogger deleted the original one that was already approved.

Your post is reproduced here:
Wonderful post, Lin. And it certainly struck a cord with me.

My life and work partner is my wife, Patty. We are like Thelma & Louise: Folks old enough to remember that movie will know what I mean. She's my business partner and my photo shoot assistant. Actually, nothing much happens without her.

While we do produce and sell fine art erotica using paid models, the other half of our business is producing boudoir and erotica images for women who commission us privately. Generally, these women have all of the issues you'd expect someone to have who is over 30, has been married at least 10 years, and has given birth to one or more children.

A typical commissioned assignment involves at least two interviews and one shoot, which requires several style changes and runs from about 8:30 a.m. to midafternoon. My hair & makeup artist is there for the first hour and a half, and she doesn't come back unless we're ending with a shower or bathtub scene.

So, with her hair & makeup done, our client finds herself wearing next to nothing, balancing on her too-tall high heel shoes, feeling nervous and vulnerable, and perhaps even doubting her decision to do this at all. Then she remembers Patty is there to care for her and those feelings begin to melt away. And thus begins another successful shoot.

WillRichardhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04449619427741048486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30786249.post-24791211354669251732007-09-10T04:48:00.000+01:002007-09-10T04:48:00.000+01:00This post is very interesting to Rosie (my partner...This post is very interesting to Rosie (my partner, muse, assistant and manager) and I because we know exactly where you are coming from and can totally identify. The part about models prefering not to have a wife there is very interesting and something that we haven't come across yet but will certainly keep a watchful eye on.

Human nature is stranger than fiction sometimes.......and mostly more interesting.

Thanks again Lin.Saintzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15414834038097721798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30786249.post-42975287554555396312007-09-09T20:26:00.000+01:002007-09-09T20:26:00.000+01:00Will, Thank you so much for taking the time to pos...Will,
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this.
