They will even make an invoice with netto value of the item, so your import tax is minimized.

This may also take the pressure off Iris.eolakehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07126147415891586345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30786249.post-75742571519231346652008-09-11T15:02:00.000+01:002008-09-11T15:02:00.000+01:00nice ..good job...nice blognice ..
good job...
nice blogRolandhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12588732000033434474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30786249.post-52410615717962547162008-09-10T22:55:00.000+01:002008-09-10T22:55:00.000+01:00Well... if you live in the US, and you have relati...Well... if you live in the US, and you have relatives in Europe, you get LOTSA requests from people you didn't even think you knew, to have stuff shipped to your house, which then has to be shipped over to Europe, and believe me, it's a pain.. LOL.

I feel your pain, but the US isn't all that great unless you have a great job with good benefits and health insurance.Iris Dassaulthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11118248701803666700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30786249.post-80887385911856991142008-09-10T21:07:00.000+01:002008-09-10T21:07:00.000+01:00Why would you want that camera? It's a 40D with a couple of additions. Live view? (yawn) Face regognition? (yawn again.) IT STILL HAS AN UNDERSIZED SENSOR!!!!

If you want to upgrade, buy a 5D, used or new. Or, start saving your money for the next FULL-FRAME SENSOR model that is sure to be coming down the tube.

If you're itching to spend some money, spend it on something that will actually IMPROVE the images from the camera you're already shooting with: Buy some really good glass!jimmydhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04250574229270573468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30786249.post-8356674028667138122008-09-10T17:49:00.000+01:002008-09-10T17:49:00.000+01:00My sympathies, but how much of that is due to the ...My sympathies, but how much of that is due to the VAT? Since I suspect the VAT is included in your calculations, you need to add 7-8% (usually) for the equivalent U.S. state Sales Tax to the U.S. prices. That can be avoided by ordering from an out-of-state shipper, but most states then require you to pay a "use" tax that is the same amount, although I'm sure 90% of people don't even know it applies, and a substantial number of those who do know of it don't declare and pay it.Stephen Hayneshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08135121754647981021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30786249.post-39636145110731040022008-09-10T15:28:00.000+01:002008-09-10T15:28:00.000+01:00There's a reason my sis-in-law flies back (Minneso...There's a reason my sis-in-law flies back (Minnesota) once a year, besides visiting her mother. She buys more luggage and goes shopping!!!!

Would really love to go to the 50D myself but my 40D is only 8 months old, no way I can justify it.georgenoreply@blogger.com
