Very nicely-put (widows, etc). And I'm with you: I want to raise the bar on gay-lit, up past the wailing-wall of the Nineties and AIDS, up past the Prada, Ecstacy and bitchiness, into a realm of actual stories that are new not just because they're the <I>gay version</I>.<BR/><BR/>I haven't seen HBO's <I>Angels in America</I>, though it's on my DVD rental list. Now I'm I'm thinking of removing it. But the soundtrack is really lovely -- thank you, Thomas Newman.
