I read where it took one guy nearly a half hour to get to the pumps because of all the riff raff approaching him to sell gold chains and such. If you know of a crappy truck stop ( crappiest ) holler at us so we can beware.

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-68654020673595114462006-11-03T15:55:00.000-08:002006-11-27T15:58:39.486-08:00Trucking RegulationsJust a heads up... seems like we have an ongoing change of regulations. You have to keep up with new regulations or you'll find yourself fined or even worse... FIRED!

I was reading about some new regulations that may make it a little harder to deal with logs. I know the logs are a pain in the butt already but when you think about it, it protects all of us and in the long run is worth the time and trouble we put into them. I would suggest double checking with your company for any new updates to regulations or internal rules.

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-22094422839347296792006-10-27T15:06:00.000-07:002006-11-27T16:11:41.696-08:00Well... looks like another boring dayjust another boring day of surfing the web... I found this new site ftvgirls.com as I was looking for models by measurements. One model I really like is mary castro you should really check her out. I know all this stuff doesn't have squat to do with trucking but it's still pretty good. Some other models I think are hot are sharon wild, evelyn lory, luba, and veronica zemanova.

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-19664318243670658322006-10-22T14:06:00.000-07:002006-11-27T16:07:37.778-08:00A bit of newsWJBC News, IL A woman twice convicted of employee theft in Logan and Sangamon counties is now charged with embezzling in McLean County. Heather Ferguson, 31, is accused of taking a little more than $41,000 from Lori and Michael Dekeyser who own Express -- A Trucking Company. Ferguson was an accounting clerk and is accused of using the firm's account with another transport service to make checks payable to herself. The stealing took place for a year, dating back to September while Ferguson was on probation in Sangamon County for stealing from a moving company. She was also convicted in Logan County of stealing from a daycare center that employed her.

It seems some ppl are born with it and some just ain't... hehehe
but hey, these ppl eventually are good entertainment for the rest of us.

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-87011318583032485252006-10-20T13:10:00.000-07:002006-11-27T16:12:17.962-08:00What is this crapI don't understand it... why do some trucking schools offer paid training and others are so expensive. I have been researching and researching and don't understand the benefits of going to a school where you have to pay... it seems like going somewhere and making a commitment to a job for some time would be the better way to go.

Any Comments?

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-82123871589552033812006-10-15T00:27:00.000-07:002006-11-27T16:12:00.955-08:00Here's a funny postI came across this post on a message board... Pretty Funny!

has anyone heard about a load that was stolen out of WD-40 2 weeks ago, there is a driver using fake information, he gets the loads out of postings and uses fake mc #, insurance, and company name, the police has video of the last load he stole from security cameras from WD-40 loading dock and they are looking for the freight it was about $45,000 full truck load maybe about $20 street price, if anyone hears or see's anyone selling WD-40 products at truck stops please post in this blog so we can catch this thief and brokers can trust owner operators again.

Looks like somebody is racking up on a lot of good stuff

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-20190018091865366982006-10-06T16:07:00.000-07:002006-11-27T16:10:26.338-08:00Good Post by Female TruckerCripes...I have to vent this frustration I have! I joined trucking as a way to make a decent living. I am new to this profession, however as a woman I am very familiar with negative talk. However, the spewing that I hear on the CB against Blacks, Hispanics, Homosexuals, Women, and other truckers is horrible! If we can't respect other people in this world how can we expect people to respect truckers?!

Why must we entertain ourselves this way... see I think it's a kind of entertainment and not just behavior. I think as truckers, we need to come together rather than apart.

just a thought

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-8682233089522096622006-07-03T21:40:00.000-07:002006-11-27T15:55:21.654-08:00Hounded about jobs!It looks like the market these days is crazy... just about everyone is hiring as usual, but I think it's getting to be dog-eat-dog out there. The trucking companies just can't keep up with all the turnover. I think they need to make the driving environment and the job itself a more pleasant one or they are not going to draw more ppl into this workforce.

Tell me what you hate most about driving.

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-87777819273942056162006-06-20T23:37:00.000-07:002006-11-27T15:54:59.534-08:00Ethos Fuel Reformulator (FR) Increase Fuel MileageI saw an ad for this: Ethos Fuel Reformulator (FR) Increase Fuel Mileage and it says that some guy increased efficiency by 27% and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this product... it would definitely help the OO's out there.

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-13573701575960731682006-04-15T18:14:00.000-07:002006-11-27T15:51:13.926-08:00MetacafeHas anyone looked up some trucking stuff on metacafe... I saw this one guy drifting in his tractor and it was some pretty impressive driving. It was on a dirt track it seemed which makes it a lot easier but you just don't see ppl drive rigs like that. I remember I saw this truck overturn in front of me and he hardly was pushing the thing. It's nice to see the capabilities that one would have without the darn trailer on the back.

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-23100701228874479172006-04-07T15:34:00.000-07:002006-11-27T15:54:32.119-08:00Stop Driving!Everyone out there wants you to drive, but a friend of mine recently quit his driving job and became an agent. He loves his new job and is making a lot more money not to mention the hours. At some point it gets old not seeing your family. I am glad I am retired! When I was on the road, the truck stops just started to blur together for me and I couldn't tell when one family event happened and the other stopped. They all became one memory merge.

!Trucker on the Webhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13239530436044989292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3066236171985250815.post-13887435148216086882006-03-05T20:22:00.000-08:002006-11-27T15:54:10.355-08:00If your career ends :(Many truckers don't know how to do anything but drive a truck. What is something happened to you that disabled you to drive a truck but not enough to get you some disabled pay. It's just a thought...
