In the name of responsibility we all have to do what we don't want to do sometimes. The passion centered person does what they have to do while keeping their focus on what they want to do.

Your passion for life will effect your position in life and so will your lack of passion. So the real question is not how much you hate your job, marriage or yourself but how passionate are you about simply being alive not being happy.

Passion changes everything ex specially the culture that you have created or your have let others create for you!

I wanted to personally thank Michelle and her husband for contacting me about my lost articles they found on one of my recent flights.

How refreshing to know that there are some real honest people out there. You are a true example of what I am trying to raise my daughter to be...simply honest!

The ipod could have been a real temptation to keep!

I wanted you to know that no matter what you might be facing today that everything that happens is only for a season of our lives. You are not alone even though at times it may feel that way. Many others have faced your challenge and became better not bitter as a result of it.

Today no matter how difficult things may look simply choose not to give up or give in but choose to take up and look up!

Come Clean!

Yesterday I had the wonderful opportunity to speak at my home church Capital Christian Center here in Sacramento. It was one of the single greatest experiences of my life!

The message was entitled "How to Hug a Beggar" not just the one on the street but the one inside everyone of us. We all have hidden issues and are begging to feel safe enough to deal with it.

If confession is good for the soul then yesterday was my day of coming clean. Ask me for the DVD and I will send to you free of charge!

Daddy Dates!

Yesterday my daughter and I went to the coast together and simply walked the beach. At 14 she needs her dad more than ever and I need her even more.

My favorite part of the day was when we were walking on the beach and she gently reached over and held my hand. I remember when her hand was that of a little girl not of a young woman. The speed of life...

Fathers must always date their daughters to model what real dates should be like!

Jogging!

I started jogging (not running) about two months ago. It has been quite a journey getting up at the crack of dawn and not letting my feelings tell my body what to do.

This year I turn 55 and I have a personal goal to be in the best shape of my life by my birthday. I have found as in life that the most difficult part of jogging is simply taking the first step.

I have lost over 30 pounds!

Today I jogged 6 miles...

I am up here speaking to the Lord's Dental Lap conference. It was a great conference and I am now getting ready to catch a flight home.

So what is your passion/passions? Have you even given this question any thought? Passion is the energy of life and to know your passion is to know the reason you get out of bed everyday.

Try this! List 10 of your passions i.e. the things you love to do no matter how silly they may sound to you or others.

This is the one day of the week that I try not to make about me. I see my faith tested in my ability to give and I see my faith grow in my willingness to be tested.

When I don't give I am simply saying that God cannot be trusted and that is the greatest test of all!

When I woke up this morning in cold St. Louis MO I began to consider all the friends and family God has blessed me with. This is going to be the best year of my life because I don't have to do it alone.

Canceled flights!

Don't you just love when everything works out perfect? My flight to St. Louis was canceled this morning. So they rerouted me. That is so much like life. When things get canceled simply be open to the "rerouting"

Opposition is a test of your ability to become creative!!!

Fear or Faith?

Have you ever just woke up with a since of fear? I did this morning! I was thinking about all the things I thought I needed that I did not have. My fear changed to faith when I took mental account of what I do have and how grateful I am just to be alive!
