I recall this really great hotel that I went to for my senior prom. It was at the Hyatt. It was amazing. The place was eye popping that my head was looking all over the place instead of at my date. However, the Hyatt hotels all have a different look on the outside. For instance, this picture above is one in Montreal.

The main thing though is you got to check out the inside of the place. In some ways, I would like to compare it to the Titanic movie when they show you all the rooms. Yes, it is that fancy looking.

When you go to Las Vegas, there are many hotels to choose from. However, I recommend the Stratosphere hotel if it is your first time. The room prices are a fair price and you are at the end of the strip. In addition, you get to go up in the tower and view all of Las Vegas from that tower. Being up there also has its bonuses if you like roller coasters or high thrilling rides. The stratosphere has a free fall ride at the top of the tower. It is surrounded by a roller coaster that clings around the tower rim up there too.

The food is good and the casinos for gambling are great too. Plus, the main thing about staying there is going up in that tower. However, you most likely need to drive up more into the middle of the strip if you plan to walk around there. All in all, if you check their website it can give you more additional details.

Starwood Hotels is an amazing hotel group that has 9 different franchises within their circle. One of their companies, W Hotels, has a fantastic location in San Diego that is definitely worth staying at. A room at W San Diego will cost you anywhere from 300 to 500 dollars per night, but I think that the trendy/romantic atmosphere is well worth the price. Associates at this hotel are at your service, 24 hours per day. They have a "Whatever/Whenever" service, which basically means that they will help you make arrangements for just about anything. If you want to take surfing lessons in Pacific Beach and need transportation to get there, the hotel staff will help get everything set up for you. This place seems pretty unreal, and I think that big spenders will certainly enjoy staying a few nights at The W in San Diego.

The hotel industry has come a long way and in recent years I have seen more and more "outside the box" chains popping up. Aloft, which is a branch of Starwood Hotels, combines luxury and comfort with modern looks and trendy accommodations. It is obvious that they are targeting younger travelers, and when you get a glimpse of their hotel decor you will see what I am talking about.

The Aloft Ontario-Rancho Cucamonga hotel in California has a futuristic style that looks like something you would see in a movie. Each room has an oversized spa shower, plasma TV, furniture with hip designs and in-room video games. There is also an in-house trendy bar known as "wxyz" which apparently was created so that hotel guests could have a place to meet people during their stay. Unfortunately, I was not able to find room prices because the hotel is currently booked. However, based on the looks of this place I imagine that it is pretty expensive. The Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans, LA is located in the French Quarter and has a historically French design to match. Gabled windows, French doors, and a gorgeous courtyard all make this aesthetically beautiful hotel a favorite for many travelers. I read several reviews online that were written by previous customers and almost all of them had great things to say. One review even mentioned how the structure of this hotel was able to prevent city noise from entering the rooms of the guests during Mardi Gras. Most of the other reviews mentioned the hotel's excellent customer service and amenities.

The nice part about this 4-star hotel is that it is also rather affordable. Currently, an overnight stay will cost you $109, which is excellent considering where it is located. Guests are very close to many of the city’s shops, restaurants and attractions. Another feature of the Royal Sonesta that not all New Orleans hotels have is an underground parking garage that makes city street parking obsolete. New Orleans is known for having very little public parking, and having an underground garage at the hotel can make things very convenient. The next time that you are planning on traveling to this beautiful city, especially during Mardi Gras, I suggest that you reserve a few nights at the Royal Sonesta.

Current Rates For the Hotel Del Coronado

Especially for those of us that are located in desert areas, now is the perfect time to go visit San Diego and the beautiful peninsula of Coronado. Because I am interested in going there myself, I had to check out some of the current rates that are available at the Hotel Del Coronado. Since the first weekend in May has no availability, I performed a search for the nights of Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th. For the beautiful Junior Suite, I was given a price of $340. Although this price was given for the two-night stay, I am going to assume that this is a nightly rate and that the total cost would be $680.

I was also given a price for a room that is a little bit smaller than the Junior Suite, but has a partial ocean view. This room had a rate of $300, and this suite actually looks as though it is more ideal for couples to stay in. There are plenty of other rooms available for this same weekend, which are king-size bedrooms without ocean views. Marquesa is a gorgeous little hotel located in the heart of the historic district. The way that this establishment is set up is very unique, with four separate structures surrounding an area with 2 pools and a garden. This award-winning hotel is a perfect place for couples that want to have a relaxing vacation with beautiful surroundings. Not to mention, how many Key West hotels will serve you breakfast in their very own garden?

You can visit marquesa.com for information and photos of this wonderful hotel, or you can just pay it a visit to see for yourself. One of the things that I like about Marquesa is that it does not have the outside look of a traditional hotel. This place looks more like a bed and breakfast, although once you get inside you will see that it is much larger. Their rates are a little steep, however, with poolside rooms currently costing 290 dollars per night. If you want to stay somewhere that is quite unique then I suggest that you check out Marquesa.

I have not personally traveled to the beautiful city of Barcelona, but I have heard that it has become a popular attraction for college students around the world. One of these, which happens to be a personal favorite of mine, is the Radisson Hotel in King of Prussia, PA. This hotel is also known as the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge, and it is a great place for business travelers who are in town for one of the many events that are held at the Valley Forge Convention Center.
