We got to visit Sausalito and spend a great afternoon with CJ and Gunel. Windy, but a beautiful afternoon in Marin. Couldn't be more fun!

Jennifer and Brannan came by the Spring Lake house last week for an engagement session. We went through some clothes choices and headed for the lake. Couldn't have had a better time!

After a morning of drizzle, the clouds parted and the sun came out just in time. The 'plan B' got reversed back to 'plan A'! The shot above is in the barrel room. They're off to South Africa for a honeymoon, and a long flight. More to come!

Claudia and Scott at the Lodge in Sonoma

Claudia & Scott, April 18th

We met up with Claudia and Scott by the pool at the Lodge at Sonoma on a beautiful, warm Friday in mid-April.

Both Claudia and Scott had their children along, and we managed to grab some terrific images of them with their kids. Images from the wedding should be posted soon - come back soon!

Leah and Thomas Engagement Shoot

April 28th, we shot Leah and Tom for their engagement. The shoot took place at the ranch and their home. The day was a total kick.

Lorenzo got to ride in the back of Tom's 4X4 and duck the brush and bugs. Think of it as Disneyland Safari ride meets the mountain lion. Lovely day, lovely people, great food and wine (thank you Tom and Leah!). Couldn't have had more fun or with nicer people.

Walter & Yvette engagement and wedding in Sonoma

We visited Yvette & Walter (all the way from Louisiana) for an engagement shoot amongst the vines in Napa - just one day prior to their wedding at Gloria Ferrer. They had a party for their guests who'd come from all over the USA. Great place, great food, great people! We managed to grab enough engagement pics to make up a nice book - in time for the wedding the next day!

The wedding rocked - and blew (quite windy!), but with great food, a great band (Crossfire) and a great venue, we all had a great time. Yvette and Walter were one of the most terrific couples we've had the pleasure of working with - relaxed, happy and completely in love. Is this a great business or what? Yvette sold her catering business in Baton Rouge and headed to Hawaii for their honeymoon. You can check out the complete wedding on our web site or by visiting the CinZo client page: use

Patti & Johnny - January 6

The rain stopped - and the clouds parted. They must be living a good life - the weather had been alternating between rain and heavy rain all morning in Laguna Beach. As we drove up, the first sunbeams broke the clouds and our spirits soared. Instead of going down into the wet sand, Patti and Johnny both realized that the patio of the hotel was a perfect spot for their intimate wedding. Small enough that we could gather quickly and still take our time for a very special ceremony overlooking the Pacific.

The party/reception will take place in the coming months in Johnny's new winery barn in Healdsburg, and we'll be sure to post pictures from that event.

Johnny generously offered us the use of his winery barn for our own wedding - September 28th. It'll be the inaugural for the barn... if you'd call it a barn. The interior is, for lack of another word, magical. We can't wait!

Late in coming, but we hope to make up for that with... stuff.

Our first 'official wedding' of the year was on New Years Eve - Nick & Nicky's grand-slam of a wedding and reception. We were both so completely touched by the emotion we found in 'the Nics' that we were pretty swept away, too. The images mostly convey the terrific party they threw, but behind the scenes, we found a couple completely immersed in their love of each other and overwhelming happiness. Links to the entire collection will be posted soon. Lighting and music was designed by Extreme Productions. Premiere planner Debra Hiebert of Tres Fabu Event Planning and Design pulled this incredible wedding off with style and stamina - she logged in a whopping 31.5 hours on the event date - 150 hours all together!

Check the incredible video by Sheffield Multimedia - it's one of the best pieces we've ever seen!
