This years trip was fucking awesome there was soo many Bros from all over the us meeting up whit ss. Beck was right about every thing he said the only way I can describe it was chaos and I like it. I mean, it's like this we are on a road trip. "JUST FUCKING SEND IT DUDE"

So the trips are all over.
Everyone is home again (I guess).
There's nothing that I could say to summarize the trip. Not in any way that would do it justice. All I can say is that this trip is not what it used to be.
It used to be just 20 or so separate people who gathered together to go anywhere unfamiliar for a few days. We all had ideas about where to go and what to do, and nothing was ever concrete, but it was somewhat planned out, which sometimes ended in massive frustration for many involved when plans didn't go accordingly, or when trying to keep 30+ people together.
This year however didn't have the same focus as previous years. Nothing was scheduled, no one knew who was coming, sleeping arrangments were rarely finalized until necessary, and it consisted more of little groups than one big group. But when the big group all gets together, I'd watch the fuck out.
People come into this trip all the time and no one ever leaves it. The borders of Savage South are no longer defined by cities and states; they're no longer definable PERIOD. There's a bond, a kinship between all of us that isn't the easiest thing to explain, but the simplest thing to understand if you've ever been on any of these trips.
What I'm trying to say is that Savage South isn't just a company anymore to some of us. It's an entity all in itself and it moves on it's own. And I'm more than privileged every year when I can move myself along with it.

Well we didn't get to finish the ramp "horse shit". I'm sure that Micky, Cody, Jade, Jon, and Brock will be finished some time next week. I think the only thing we managed to accomplish was gettin really fucking high. Jumpin off a roof was painful I mean it sucked, Shit I guess that's how Micky jumps 25 feet to a wall ride and comes off the wall at like ten feet and lands flat.

In case word hasn't hit the streets yet, let me be the first: There are trails in Memphis. And they don't suck.
Case in point;

In other news: Little Pat broke his collarbone a few weeks ago. He is out for an undetermined amount of time, but seems to be in good spirits about it all. We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to the next time he can show us all up at every spot we go to.

I sent clips of him and Holliday to James Stevens for the Liquor video. He's working on that as we speak, and I'm sure it will be more than badass. So be looking for that.
Ricky Mosely is traveling around doing shows, entering contests, and adding to his ever-expansive trick list. That kid is ridiculous.

TBCParty.com posted the trailer for the video they're working on. It looks tight, Jon and Brock know what the fuck they're doing, and I am pumped on that.

Last weekend I went to Baton Rouge to help out the locals build a sweet fucking ramp I had so much fun helping out with that project. One of the thing I didn't have fun with was not able ride my BMX. The reason for that I'm a fucking retard for shooting my self in the hand with the nail gun. Speaking of nail guns do not let Brad Jensen use it he will shoot your face off. "NO SHIT' Later that night I managed to slam my fingers in Micky's door. But other than trying to kill my self it was a kick ass time in BR, and it was really good to see everyone.

A couple of weeks or so at the trails Peter and I where ripping dig'in in the woodz. Before the hurricanes came in started shit storming all over the place. The gypsy tour video just released. That video was soo.. kick ass it was a excellent display of some sweet fuck'in bmx. For any info. call LAST CALL or FBM for the gypsy video or Kelly baker will kick your teeth in. Sittings of Micky Marshall in the new Dig BMX mag. Also one of many bad ass pictures that Josh beckmeyer has taken. I think that picture of Lil Jon railing the shit out of corner full pipe in the latest dig is one of the best fuck'in pictures I've seen in a BMX mag. He just so happens to be one of my homes. This past week Micky and Geoff trekked there way up to the Nasty North for there expedition for that PA gold. From what I saw on the FBM site it look like everyone had a blast at the Belmar jam. It looks like are friend from the Arch Garret Guilliams took ninth at the Belmar. I heard that Garrett was doing front flip nac-nacs I Don't no that's what I heard. Gypsy Caravan video was premiered this weekend and I also heard that it was pretty much a kick ass video.

This week end was bad ass. At first i thought it was going to be a rain out . Peter , and I covered the jumps in the rain but for the looks of the rain it seemed as if it was going to be a rain out so i jumped on the horn with every one. They basically told me to screw of and that they are coming to Jackson avyway.We all got up Saturday morning and went straight to the trails. Surprisingly the trials where in prime condition. Micky told me Friday night not to jump the gun he also told me don't be so negative it's probably good out there. Hey guys, got some news in the works for everyone to enjoy. The trails in Jackson have been around for a couple of seasons now thanks to the hard work of Louis and Geoff. Digging trails basically alone is a pretty ridiculous task that entails a lot of hard work and maintenance. Unfortunately, the trails may not be around for much longer. Suburban sprawl is creeping in on the border of the trails and there is great fear that the jumps will be plowed.

These dudes look pissed.

In light of this, Louis has decided to let everyone come to the trails and session them before they return to flat portions of land. We will be out at the trails this coming weekend, June 14-15, chilling, grilling and anything else you could expect in the woods of Mississippi. Its an open invitation to ride some pretty impressive jumps. Bring some food if you wanna grill and some shovels cause we'll need em to keep the jumps running. Keep your eyes peeled around the internet (this site especially) for details about the jam.

Call Geoff so he can get it juicy for you.

Also happening next weekend is the Jubilee Jam! With over 30 live bands including ZZ Top, 3 6 Mafia and Lucero you can bet this is going to be a sight! One more reason to come down to Jackson and hang out with Team Rat Shit.

well.... where to start..... Everyone knows that it is not too often that all of your good friends get to go out and adventure and have life experiences that you will never let pass your mind..... This trip is one of them for all of us guys at SAVAGE SOUTH... We didnt mind if we rode or not, the only thing that mattered to us that we were all together.... kickin back, smokin some butts and green.... and enjoying the beers....

This is the most economical truck now days so we decided to take the boss hog/ big dies..... Suprisingly we only filled up four times.... oh yeah thanks to the 75 gallon auxillary tank in the back.....
