Hello all, This is a new year starting today. I look forward to a great year. I plan on adding lots and lots of new puppets. Some from other companies , some from a new line I'm working on. I'll be visiting Seattle and Las Vegas looking for puppets. I'm adding another 550 sq. feet of space in my shop. I will be visiting a number of schools this year. Among them will be Buckingham and Ponderosa in Bend, Clemens in Philomath, Mckinley in Salem, Central in Albany, and Brock in Winston. I can't forget Sisters Elementary. This summer I will be at festivals in many places. With my new line of puppets. If I get my act together. Hope I see you somewhere. William

Hello all. I have been working at High Lakes Elem. School these last few weeks. My puppet shop is now one year old and looking better all the time. A few photos of my shop will be on line soon. I have a new puppy, she loves my puppets more than she should. As I keep finding her sneaking one off to chew. William

Hi all, I'm at Buckingham School this month. What great teachers and students. They are making fantastic insects and fish. Made from Styrofoam. Examples are on my web site, under residencies . Hi, I have been very busy the last six months. I have moved into a 2400 sq. ft. shop. I can now build some sculptures I have not had the room to create. Like a castle with a dragon wrapped around it, like a whole space center, like a whole bunch of new puppets. I even have room to really get organized. Next week I visit Pendleton, Oregon to work with about 150 students. My dog gets to go with me. If you are visiting my web site, be sure to check out my sculptures.

Hi, I'm doing a puppet week at LaPine Elementery School. Last week I did two Head Start Schools. What fun 4 and 5 year olds are. The teachers were surprised that I could keep thier attention for over 30 min. They laughed so long and loud. The kids and teachers. I'm putting on another 50 puppets on my web this next week. Some will be finger puppets. Others will be Wayang Golicks and Kulits from Indoniesia. The finger puppets will be $3.00 and the Wayangs will be $150.00 . Talk to you again soon. William

Hi, I sure have had fun the last few months, I have worked in schools in Ontario, Pendelton, and Corvallis. I am now on my way to Winston. In those schools I have had two after school family nights. They were both FANTASTIC. We had over 100 people for each night. I also had three weeks at High Lakes Elementary School in Bend. All my Schools have been so into making their art that I could never ask for more. My book is now available on my web site. Under Fairy Tales. Bye

hi all, Just visited Crane School for a week. What fun. Great students, no cell phone service. I'm on my way to High Lakes Elementary School the next two weeks and then off to Ontario. Hi everyone at High Lakes and Alameda. I'm looking forward to my visit with you. I have great and exciting news. I just had my first book of Fairy Tales puplished. It's called A Collection of Fairy Tales. There are 17 stories in it. The books are $12.95 each. They will be available on my web soon, or from me now. So far I have recieved really good feedback on them. See you all soon.

trying to get my shop in order, it gets so messy it looks like i'm 6 years old with to many toys and a pizza parlor in my closet. plus a dog kennel. i'll clean it and go to work.

I put a lot of new puppets on the web a few weeks ago. i have two more festivals to do before thanksgiving. i have three weeks of teaching puppetry at a local elementary school before thanksgiving also.. i'll stay busy.

hi . just saw a marshmallow shooter in an add. it was plastic and only shoots 30 feet. mine shoots 30 yards. the plastic one cost $25. mine 6 to 12 $ . i'm making them now. yesterday, today, tomorrow. wm

hi, been working hard the last few weeks, entered more puppets on my web, went to seattle and found some puppets i want to add to my web site. will be making more marshmallow shooters tomorrow. next festival is mt. angel, oregon. in mid september. i just got a call from madison mississippi. they want a full size liberty bell, made of paper'mache. i will know in a week, if i will do it. see ya all.

hi all, just finished building my 20 foot long puppet booth. it really looks like a castle. i made lots of adjustments to it. it took me a week plus to do it. now i'm building some shelves in my vehicle.

, just had a nice 4 point mule deer in the back yard, don't see them often here in the summer. been redesigning my festival booth. looks more like a castle now. my flowers are so beautiful. i now have yellow squash. it sure is hot.

hi all, wrote another story today. now i have 6 new ones , on my way to 18 . then another book with the new 18. hope to have it done by thanksgiving. my dobie and i climbed a mountain, he was so cool. he learned to climb over logs, and logs piled on logs. he learned to drink from a water bottle. it's really something to see. all i have to do is snap my fingers or call his name or say come and he stops on a dime and comes. he is becoming very much a one man dog. my garden is so beautiful, my fountain was on today, while sitting outside enjoying it i watched a baby bird get the nerve to leave it's nest, it had a problem flying. seem really late for baby birds. cool to watch.

just got back from climbing a mountain, built a blind for dear season. climbed back down the mountain. saw several dozen deer.

made 60 marshmallow shooters today.packed up some puppets, played with my dobie. he was so good on the 4th. he had to be in the house for almost 12 hours. no accidents. he is'nt afraid of the fire works either.he is a very good dog.

Hi, i just finished writing down two new stories, "Up under" and "The luckiest man on earth" Just made up some marshmallow shooters. Played with my Dobie. H e chased off a cute dog yesterday, the poor dog ran down the driveway, stood there looking at us , saying, like what did i do?
