It's finally summer! With all the flowers blooming and the fruits and vegetables ripening, it's my favorite time of the year.These beautiful sunflowers were volunteers. It's like a "Where's Waldo" picture.But this is a "Where's the pottery equipment" picture.Here is the studio "pre-Gustav". We pulled in from outside, everything and anything.Then the storm came through. Lost trees, shingles, and electricity. Now after curfews are lifted and electricity is back on , we are slowly cleaning out the studio. Hopefully it will be a studio again and not a storage unit.

Well as most of you know, one of my ducks went to the duck pool in the sky and my other duck was lonely. Who said you can't buy friends? Because we bought "Nemo" (the remaining duck) some friends. 5 of them to be precise! They are very young so we keep them inside for now, and bring them outside to swim, in a little wading pool, during the day. We keep them in a room next to my studio, so
