Faculty Gala Concert: A Butler Dedicatory Series Event
Friday, September 12, 2008
8:00 PM; Bates Recital Hall; Tickets at the door: $20 public; $17 UT faculty/staff and seniors; $10 students
I will be performing along with Adam Holzman and UT Facutly and students on Professor Donald Grantham’s “Music for the Blanton.”
The Fall Faculty Gala Concert is the first of the Butler Dedicatory Concert Series. This series is presented in celebration of the naming of the Sarah and Ernest Butler School of Music on March 18, 2008 and as an expression of appreciation for their generous support of the school. These special events are designed to showcase the school’s artist faculty and talented students from across the various parts of the Butler School.

The program will feature a mixture of tangos, traditional, and modern works. Guest artists will include percussionist Clinton Blumer IV and bassist Eric Reynolds.
