None of the people working there were forced to do so. They all applied and took the jobs knowing the pay scales. If there are better jobs for which they are qualified, they can freely apply for and hopefully get those. If enough leave for salary issues, Hyundai will raise its salary structure to compete. <BR/><BR/>2.) Undoubtredly Hyundai is struggling with rising energy cost, higher commodity costs et.al. Tough to believe but no one is lining up to freely give them extra money because gas is expensive. In fact because the economy is rough, they are suffering a decline in sales in terms of volume and average selling price. They feel the impact and have to tighten their belt as well.<BR/><BR/>It's called the free market. It works from the supply and the demand side. There are no entitlements. Socialized systems always fail over the long term. It's a tough concept for all the Progs but you can not legislate prosperity.
