And I am happy to introduce you the second class for July. Hold on! The Mini Classes are coming soon too. In this class you will make a two drawer stationery box, like the Butterfly one, just it's little shorter, and plus 5 cards and envelopes. This class features the all you do stamp set.
Pre-registration is open until July 31st at Midnight EST and I will be placing the order for the supplies on August 1st. Kits will ship around the middle of August, depending when supplies arrive here.
You have two options to purchase this class, supplies only or supplies and the For All you do stamp set which retails at $28.95 before tax and shipping.

It has been busy few days since I was working on preparing the kits for the previous classes so they can ship today and tomorrow. As well I have been working on new classes for this month. This is one of them. In this class you will use supplies from the new Sunny Day Simply Scrappin kit and will make 8 cards, envelopes will be included, plus you will make this bag (courtesy of Julie Buhler). This class as well features the stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes. You have until July 31st at midnight EST to register. I will be placing the orders for the supplies on August 1st and the kits will be mailed around the middle of August.
You have two options to purchase the class: only supplies or supplies and the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set which retails at $36.95 before tax and shipping.

I am preparing all the supplies now, and all kits will be going postal on Monday and Tuesday.

Here is the other card I made using the new Teddy and Train stamp set, actually this is the first one I made. :) I used the new Texturz Plate to dry emboss the background. It looks more boyish then if I used the folder I used for the girl card :)

Do you remember this box. I made same one while ago, and I promised I will provide a template. So finally I put up a tutorial for this box. It can fit regular A2 size cards and envelopes and it has two drawers 6"x4 1/2"
You can purchase the tutorial for $5.95 just clicking on the pay pal button. All tutorials will start being send by email tomorrow morning, since I won't be home tonight.
As a hint: one of this months classes will be using this template :)

Falling Leaves Again

Here is another card I created with the new Falling Leaves set, actually this is the first one I did, and the one I posted yesterday was second :)
I just love this set. Few years ago I didn't like solid image stamps, but I find myself liking them more and more. Besides Falling Leaves, I used the new dsp Autumn Traditions. I ordered this paper by mistake, but I am now liking it more and more :) The ribbon is the new Soft Suede polka dot ribbon, just reversed. Scroll down for complete list of details.

I just love this little teddy bear image. It's from the new set from Stampin' Up! called Teddy and Train.
It is so fun image for watercoloring. Besides this new set I used the new final press Textured Impressions Die. I like the simple look of the card. I used the movers and shapers die with the modern label addition to cut out the layer for the sentiment, and punched out the sentiment with the new modern label punch. The ribbon is chocolate chip satin, and unfortunatelly is not available for purchase, since it was in the Holiday Mini 2 years ago.

Hello everyone!
I have another card using watercoloring for you. When I get in the mood of doing something, I can't stop. That happened with the watercoloring, and plus it kept me from being bored stupid of Sunday.
My back is much better, yesterday I survived the day without any pain killers, which is good :)
Anyways, I really like this new set Herb Expressions and it's perfect for watercoloring. Until I saw it I didn't know the meaning of all those herbs. Back home these herbs are used for healing and as spices, no particular meaning.

Nature's Nest Thinking of You

Here is yet another card I made with an image I colored on Sunday, and it's another turtle. I have thing about turtles. I used to have a turtle when I was kid, he was a water turtle, and one of those miniature turtles, so stinkin' cute.
On another note, my back feels better today, I haven't taken any pain killers yet today :D So we shall see how that goes.
As for the card I used three stamp sets: Nature's nest, wood grain background stamp and three little words. As well I used the new Cottage wall dsp. I stamped the turtle on watercolor paper and colored it using always artichoke, old olive and crushed curry SU! write markers. Scroll down for complete list of supplies.

Yesterday I was able to color several images while resting my back. This is one of them. I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored it with SU! write markers and my aqua painter. When I first saw this stamp set I had to have it because of this cute turtle. :) I haven't been still able to move a lot, so tonight I may end up coloring bunch of other images and little by little turn them into cards.

Hanna Stamps! Sneak Peeks Day#3

Finally I got around editing the pictures of the cards. Sean brought me some pain medicine and my back feels little better, not the best, but still I can't be on the computer too much or sitting on my craft desk.
Anyway, here are two cards I have for you today using Ice Cream Riley :) Isn't he just cute? I made the ice cream cone using creamy caramel cardstock and I ran it through the Cuttlebug with the mosaic embossing folder, then cut out the cone. The ice cream scoop is made using the circle and scallop circle nestabilitiles.

Greenhouse Garden Box

Sorry I haven't posted in couple days. On Friday we went to the Ice Cream social and it was good, though there were SOOOO many people and it was so crowded. Then later that day my back started bugging me, the pain was gone by the morning, so I could have a painless Farmers Market. The weather was very nice and I enjoyed being outside, though it was little windy and I had to run after my cards few times, and another lesson I learned was " do not wear a dress when it's windy", I had to hold it down all the time lol. At the end of the market my upline Claire and her husband Farrel showed up, so they gave us ride home. And my back started bugging me again, so I haven't been able to do much. I have some Hanna Stamps! sneak peeks to show you, I am still editing the pictures.
For now here is a box I made using the PTI Get A Handle on It My Timeless Template and I used the new Greenhouse garden stamp set for it. It's a two step stamping set and i just love the flowers.

Of Cows and Power Lines

Ok this is not stamping related. I am trying to get myself in my crafting room but that hasn't happened since Tuesday. I am impatiently waiting my new catalog order which should arrive tomorrow and that keeps me distracted from creating. But I need to work on some samples and other card sets since I am again Artist of the Week at the Lansdowne Farmers Market this Saturday.
But until I share something new with you, I have a research article to share, I thought it was interesting. I just received my IEEE Spectrum Magazine and it was in there.

" A team of researchers from Germany and the Czech Republic has discovered that, all factors being equal, cattle and two species of deer tend to align themselves along a north-south axis using some innate magnetic sense and that this preferred alignment is disturbed when they graze under high-voltage power lines.
For their research, Professor Hynek Burda and his team at Germany's University of Duisburg-Essen pored over images from Google Earth. When they spotted cattle that they were at least 150 meters away from power lines, the researches detected a significant alignment among the animals along the north-south axis. By contrast, images of cattle grazing within 50 meters of high-voltage overhead power lines showed no preferred body alignment. The exception was when the power lines ran east to west. In that case, the cattle tended to align along the direction of the power lines."
