Ok, so for the last week I have put up 7 videos at YouTube. I have enjoyed it. Now, I have to drive traffic in that direction! What a task and a half.
I also feel that a couple of the videos need to be redone. So, that will be my task in the next while. I still have a couple of shorts on my camera that have to be finished and then uploaded. It is also essential that I start to make friends over at YouTubeOh, lots of social networking to do here!

I Have Been Adding Over at Style Feeder

Hello, I have been adding stuff over at Style Feeder. We have seen purchase made at our Fun Cool Collectibles Store from these shopping networks, and have therefore started to concentrate much of our energy there. .

I do not know what is going on over at Twitter. I can only follow like 6 or 7 people a day. Apparently they are getting a little "limitation fetish". So, many of the people that are following me are going to have to wait a while until I can follow them. I used to be able to follow my followers all in one day, now I have to follow them in several sessions, which is a pain in the butt.

I am currently working on a couple of YouTube videos. This will be my next social networking endeavor. I hope to have one up today or tomorrow. I hope to have my second one up by early next week.

Wow, we have been so Busy the Last Week!

I have been so busy mailing stuff out the last week or so. It has been so busy for a July. When we sold on Ebay, we were never this busy in July. We usually wrote July and August off, and planned for September to December sales. So, well the store has been busy, my social networking has suffered. Hopefully, the next week or so will be a little busier on the Social Networking front.
I would like to have a formidable social networking base for the holiday season. I have seen how it can be used to get traffic to my lenses and to the Fun Cool Collectibles estore. It is definitely worth pursuing with vigilance.

I finished a lens over at Squidoo called Weight Watchers Diet for all of you weight watchers out there. Well losing weight might not seem to have anything to do with our business, it is a hobby of mine. Exercising is an excellent way to think about ideas, brainstorm in your head, or even just to clarify some ideas. I might even set up a blog about exercising and business. It is an attitude, it helps to create leadership, or even extend your leadership (Good Health, helps to extend your effectiveness). I have seen too many business people losing time because of ill health.

Style Feeder for the Online Store

While checking out our sales, we were surprised at the number of sales that we were getting from the "shopping social media". The size of the sales are generally larger in scope and had a higher conversion rate. While I find Myspace great for getting traffic to my Squidoo Lenses and to my Marketing Online Business Blog. The conversion rate for Myspace is not as high as Style Feeder, Kaboodle and ThisNext. These "Shopping Social Media" sites are necessary for ecommerce sites, and you need to spend some time here. I will be spending the next month or so at a couple of these sites.

My social networking has slowed down a bit, as I put up my Amazon stores with google adsense. I was over at the amazon discussion boards reading about how people were dealing with amazon astores. I read one post that a woman and her husband were making money off their astores with adsense ads. I groaned, why hadn't I thought of that. This requires frames, which I have never been a fan of, well, I despise. But a guy has to do what a guy has to do. So, I have proceeded to put frames around my The Total Bike Store with adsense banners. I will let you know how I do, I currently have 20 of these astores, and hope to have many more in the next few months. I like the idea that you can have a hundred astores that you can put up, as I prefer niche marketing, rather than putting up one astore.
Well, I have put up another lens Federer and Nadal 2008 Wimbledon. I had hoped to be putting up one lens a week, but I am falling far behind this goal, as I have put up probably one lens a month. One lens a month and one blog every two months. It is a lot of hard work. I am also working on a store that takes a lot of time. I am having a nervous breakdown thinking about it.

Followers at Twitter are growing. I am getting 4 or 5 a day. I believe that it has to do with the Twitter module at Squidoo. I love it.

Wow, have I been busy. I have put up an Utradesports E-store, a The Ultimate Super Mall and a The Sports Blog. Now that that has been taken care of, I will be able to dedicate more time to social networking and more time writing on my blogs. I will also have to tweak my E-stores, and such.

At Utradesports I have put up several Squidoo Lenses for sale. I like Squidoo because of the traffic that it sends to my blogs and E-stores. Much of this traffic purchases items from us as well, so that is very nice.

I have also joined Paydotcom affiliate program. This is a whole new kettle of fish. Over the last eight years, I have been selling products that I have on hand. I have not really sold other people's products before, so this is something new.

Hello, I have been spending a lot of time over at MyBlogLog and Twitter in the past week or so. After I had received the unfriendly message from Myspace about friendbots, I have been reluctant to spend much time over there. I do not visiting profiles that bog down my computer with graphics. I figure it is more productive to spend time on Social Networking sites that I can find contacts and friends with at a more rapid rate. I will probably look at facebook next. I am very happy with the number of people who visit my blogs from MyBlogLog and Twitter. These people are very responsive.

I am also selling some of my Squidoo lenses. Even though I have slaved over these lenses, I do not have much sentimental feeling for them. I actually love putting them up, nursing them and then sending them off to another home. It is kinda like raising children. LOL.

Myspace blocking people who they think are using Friend Bots

So, I go over and visit myspace and I am down like 40+ friends. Where have they all gone? I see that I have an unread piece of mail, so I go and check it out. Holy smokes, at the top of my inbox is a message from myspace that I have violated Myspace's terms and conditions, because I may have used a friend bot, or a site that people sign up on to find friends. I will be only given one more chance or I will find my account deleted. Ok, I don't need the friend bot, it was only a demo version only, and I could only send out 50 requests a day anyways. The site where you sign up to find friends hurts, this is a great way to find friends. Most of these people are looking for friends, so being denied or even ignored is minimal. I also do not like going to people's profiles because most people overload them with gaudish images that overload my computer. After going to 10 or 15 of these myspace sites I have to restart my computer.

I am finding Twitter and MyBlogLog to be better sources of traffic to my blogs anyways.

I have been diligently working over at Twitter and Mybloglog, this past week. I will be working both these sites over the next couple of weeks. I am actually quite satisfied with both these sites. I get quite a bit of traffic from both these sites, more than I do from MySpace. So, I will be working the two sites for contacts and friends from each of these sites.

My Sports Blog is up and running, it just needs some content, which I will be working on over the next while. I will be doing quite a bit of work on my blogs, and on my Squidoo Lenses over the next while. I have some good subjects to write about, and it is time to get back to writing. I actually enjoy it.

That's right, I will be setting up a sports Blog this week, and I will not be doing much Social Networking. Participating and watching sports has always been one of my passions. I have always wanted to do a sports blog, and I will be starting one this week. I will cover all the sports that I am interested in and more. I will also be drawing portraits of some of baseball's greatest players, and I will post them as I finish them. I will give you the Url when I am ready to show it to the world! Well I am following over 1900 people and I have over 73 followers at Twitter. Over at Myspace I have over 4200 friends. I have had more people from Twitter go over to view various different websites of mine. Where should I put most of my effort? I would think that Twitter would be a better place to look for followers. I have also decided to view people's websites and leave comments at Twitter, in hopes that I can increase my PR rating for this website. I do not think that a current PR ranking of 1 is that impressive, considering that many of my Squidoo Lenses have PR rankings of 2 and 3. My other Blog - Marketing Online Business also has a PR of 1. This has to be increased as well. So, it is off to blogging again.

I have moved my Marketing Online Business Blog to paid hosting with wordpress. I will keep this site here at blogspot, because many of the entries are short and concise. I will analyze social networking over there, but just write about the social networking as I go along.

I reached 4,000 friends over at Myspace this week. I have been working over at Twitter, when I am not working on my Blog. Next week I will be continuing to work on Twitter, I find that these people are more inclined to visit my blogs.

Ning.com is one of the new and up and coming Social Networking sites. It's basic principles are that Individual can build their own Social Networking site This is a great idea. You can truly customize your site, as well as the people you want to attract. There are many people who have set up their own social networking site, but fail to attract the members that they want. As soon as I figure out how it truly works I hope to set up a couple of Social networking sites. This is incredibly more flexible than Myspace. The more I look at it, the more I like it. It may be a little premature, but I think that I have have figured out Twitter. I went over there and this morning I am the proud follower of 127 people. Hopefully, some of the people will come over and check out my profile. You always want people to check out your profile with the important information that you have listed. I have gone back to making lenses at Squidoo. This site is addictive, because I have always wanted to be a writer, and now I can write about what I like. I really wish they had the internet when I was younger, I would have had a gas, what with blogging, Squidoo, and websites. I can spend all day doing this computer stuff.

I have been so busy over at Myspace and Zimbio. I have also joined Yuwie. I am not sure what to think about Yuwie, but I will give it a try. But most of my time has been spent at Myspace. I am slowly realizing the importance of comments and bulletins at myspace. Every person that adds me as a friend will get a comment with an url to one of my sites. This has helped to increase traffic to my sites. With no less than three URLs on my profile, I get a lot of traffic to these sites. I also change these URLs to get a little more traffic to my other sites. Next month I may move over to Facebook, but finding more friends at Myspace is addictive. I feel like a miniature with some of these people who have 20,000 or 70,000 I even came across a model who had over 462,000 friends. That is incredible and would take a looooong time. Everybody has to start some time, don't they?
I will be putting up a lens over at Squidoo about Myspace I let you know when I have finished it.

Hello, It is Blog Time Again.

Hello everybody, I have been on Myspace for the last two weeks. I have gotten my friend total up to over 2800. I been working on my profile, my blog and more. I have since moved to Zimbio and writing articles for wikizines there. Mostly about riding the bicycle. I have gotten back into that, because of the horrible winters we have here, in New York state. It is so nice not to have to shovel snow, but to get out there and ride the bike. Check out my website about Bicycles. It has been great. I feel so good after I ride the bike.

The traffic to my lens Cycling is Good Exercise, Good on Gas, and a Lot of Fun has increased immensely since I have joined Myspace, I get more traffic from Myspace than I do from Google! I am sold on Myspace for marketing.

Well, the second week on Myspace has ended. While it is too early to assess how this has helped with the traffic to my Squidoo Lenses, but I am very happy so far! Even the traffic to this blog has grown in leaps and bounds. Next week I will be making posts to different forums. Because Myspace has a limit on your friends per day, I have basically had to start another myspace account.

It has been a busy week over at Squidoo and Myspace I just put a new lens about Unique Mother's Day Ideas and I have been rewriting several lenses.

Wow, easter is just around the corner! My Great Easter Egg Hunt lens should be one of the next lenses you should visit for easter hunt ideas! I have also set up another lens for Mother's Day. Our mother's deserve a lot of consideration. This is the day of the year that we can show them much consideration. Get out there and show your momma some love!

Myspace has been taking up a lot of time as well. There are some great people over there, and I enjoy being over there. I have over 1700 friends with in 10 days, so that is quite the accomplishment. It has taken a lot of time, but I am sure that it is quite worth it. I have seen the traffic over at Squidoo increase immensely. I will be going over to my other social networking sites next week. Zimbio in particular. I like this site. I like the wikizines, I think that these are great, and I actually put up one for Christmas. I will be putting one up for the 4th of July and September the 11th over the next month or so.

1100 Friends for free in one week over at Myspace

That's right 1100 friends over at Myspace in one week. Lots of work, but I did it!I used the free program from FreeFriendbot.com, adderdemon.com, several friend trains, and the fifty free friends per day that FriendBlaster Pro gives free customers.
I am actually finding that I enjoy Myspace. There is a great diverse enormous number of people to make your friends. I have also seen an increase in views of my Squidoo Lenses since I have been over at Myspace. While I have been over at Myspace for a while, finding friends has been a cumbersome task at best. I would go over and check person's profile and then add them as my friend. I would make a friend request and wait for them to accept me. I was lucky if I could do it ten or twelve times before I would have to restart my computer. Now with the methods listed above I can make 120+ friend requests a day. Actually, now with over 1500 friends, I do not feel the same urgency about making friends, and hope to get by with at least 50 a day. I will also feel that I can answer many of the messages and comments that I receive. Myspace will definitely be where most of marketing activity will be.

Over the last week I have spending a great deal of time at adding friends to My Space Account I set a goal of one hundred friends a day, and I have been keeping it so far. I See 2008 as Being a More Successful Year at Social Networking

I have been stumbling around at the Social Networking game for a bit now, but I think that this year will be a much better year. I am getting around the sites faster, and there is more method to my madness. One crucial lesson I have learned is in the search engine optimization - is to write your first three hundred words with the search engine in mind. When we wrote our ads over at Ebay, the title was strictly for Ebay's search engine - and contained all keywords that were searched, it has taken me a while to realize that this was the case for my Squidoo Lenses and even my blogs.

This should change for 2008 as I put up more blogs and Squidoo Lenses. Our store is getting a lot of traffic and should be growing in leaps and bounds for the next year. I have been busy cleaning up my Squidoo Lenses

Most of my lenses and blogs have been neglected for the past two months, and now it is time to clean them up. Now that I have been able establish domain names over here at blogspot.com this has given new meaning to my blogs. I have have been working more diligently with the blogs. I have been exploring more features over here at blogspot.com, I think that it is great that I can get a little internet pasture on Google for free! If you have a blog on blogspot.com, by all means get a domain name and plant it on Google and watch the traffic rush to your door! Google is going to take care of their own, and that is great.

Anyways, what have I been doing? I have been putting up two Valentine's Lenses over at Squidoo - they are as follows - Valentine Day Ideas and Valentine Day Marriage Proposal. Pay them a visit and see what you think. It is hard to believe that it will be here in two weeks! I have also been working on my Zimbio and I have been doing quite well over there. I love the creativity that it allows you, especially with wikizines. I love these little internet magazines. I will be doing another shortly. I just have to narrow it down to one or two subjects.
