Angelina Jolie Going Back to Work

After taking some time off to have a baby, Angelina Jolie is going back to work...or at least back to the 'work' that is professional acting. Angelina has announced that she will be the lead voice in the new animated film from DreamWorks, Kung Fu Panda. She will be staring along side Jack Black. This is Angelina's first acting job since she had baby Shiloh at the end of May. I wonder if her animated character will have the same hairstyle that we are used to Angelina having in movies!

Lindsay Lohan and the Neverending Bikini Wardrobe

For the past few weeks, everytime that I go to look for new gossip to post here, I always see some sort of story about Lindsay Lohan on a beach, in a bikini. It is amazing how many different bikinis that girl has! Everyday, a new beach and a new bikini. Does she have nothing else to do? Apparently, this time she was sunbathing with with her boyfriend, which I guess makes the story slightly more interesting. But nonetheless, she needs something new to do! We are sick of seeing her on the beach all the time while the rest of us have to work.

Matthew McConaughey Having Some Trouble

Movie star Matthew McConaughey spent this past weekend partying in Costa Rica, and several incriminating photos of his time there have surfaced online. It looks like he wasn't sober at any point in his trip, but alcohol may have been the least of intoxicants in his system. Photos show him wandering around aimlessly, barefoot and topless. If any new news on what he was doing the whole time comes out, it'll be posted here right away.

Justin Timberlake is Back with SexyBack

After spending some time to work on his movie career (or lack thereof) Justin Timberlake has returned to the music scene. The former star of NSYNC has released a new single entitled SexyBack. This is the headline song off his soon to be released ablum titled FutureSex/LoveSounds. Timberlake is currently on tour in Japan, but the new album is set to be released on Sept. 12. Russell Crowe Announces New Baby Boy

This morning, Russell Crowe and Danielle Spencer welcomed their new baby boy. Named Tennyson Spencer Crowe, the baby was born early this morning. Tennyson is the second child for the couple. Although the older brother Charles, now 3 years old, apparently missed the fad of rediculous new names for children! Tennyson was not so lucky.

Nicky Hilton Starting a Hotel

After being born into riches from a hotel tycoon, Nicky Hilton is going to see if that business sense is genetic. The new hotel, which will be called Nicky O, is going to be in Miami once she completes the renovation of two existing buildings. The jem of the hotels will be the $5000, Roberto Cavalli designed penthouse. The hotel will have 94 rooms and feature a new scent.

I think it nice to see her try her hand in the business world, even if she is playing off of her name. But I think it will be even nicer to see her fail miserably!

Star Jones takes on The View

Some people just don't know when to shut up. A good example of this is Star Jones. After recently being given the boot from her spot as one of the hosts of the daytime talk show, The View, Jones is now helping her fans, no matter how few in number they may be, protest her departure. She actually posted a way for fans to contact the president of ABC Daytime and Barbara Walters on a website. Check it out at www.starjones.com. I'm sure that Jones is able to justify this to herself as her own twisted way of helping her fans. But does she really think that posting their contacts on the internet is going to convince ABC that they want her back? What the hell does she think that will accomplish besides making her look extremely bitter? Personally, I hope this makes finding her next job even harder.

Emmy Nominations

The nominations for this years Emmy awards were announced today. The gripping suspense of "24" and the medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" were among the top nominated shows. The mini-series "Into the West" was the best pick of the day collecting an impressive 16 different nomiations. A number of last years big winners, including "Lost" and "Desperate Housewives" did not get much attention this year. The actual awards ceremony will take place on Augusut 27.

Hilary Swank Tells All to Vanity Fair

In January Hilary Swank and her husband, Chad Lowe, announced that they were separating. But it wasn't until now that the whole story has become public. In an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, Swank said that part of the reason for the separation was Lowe's ongoing substance abuse. Swank, who has won 2 Oscars, said "I knew something was happening but I didn't know what. When I found out, it was such a shock because I never thought he'd keep something from me. And yet, on another level it was a confirmation of something I was feeling that was keeping us from being completely solid." The couple had been married for eight years, but divorce papers were filed soon after the separation.

But the many bachelors in Hollywood should not yet count their blessings. In the interview Swank said the she isn't yet ready to go out and find a new man to be with. I guess all of you famous guys will have to wait a little longer.

Lil' Kim Released from Prison

After spending 10 months behind bars, Lil' Kim is back on the streets. She was doing time for lying in court about a shooting at a radio station. But her freedom is still not complete, with 30 days of house arrest then 3 years of supervised probation. She has not yet told the media what she plans to do now that she is out of jail, but I'm hoping that fixing her hairstyle is high up on her list!

After photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's baby, Shiloh, were sold for a reported $4 million, Tom Cruise and his new bride Katie Holmes are disappointed that their newlyborn cannot rake in that kind of cash. Their baby, Suri, was apparently worth in the ballpark of $3 million, but Tom decided that that just wasn't enough! It seems as though the world has had enough of Tom Cruise, and well Katie Holmes was barely even a blip on the radar. Brangelina on the other hand, are boths stars in their own right that the people just can't get enougf of! Sorry Tom, but you are just going to have to accept that people are sick of you.

Keira Knightley - Not Anorexic

After a few vague allegations, Keira Knightley has publicly said that she is in fact, not anorexic. Although her family has a history of the eating disorder, she is not suffering from it. Knightley, who was recently nominated for best actress for her role in Pride and Prejudice, was surprised by the rumors. But that begs the question - how could they possibly surprise her? She can't weigh more than 115 lbs, and even if she isn't, when you are that small and famous, you have to expect a few people to make comments.

Keira was spotted last week at a party for her upcoming movie "Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest." I know that actors are supposed to take on their role, but now that the filming is finished, no need for her to continue to dress like a pirate!

It should come as no surprise that Faith Hill was named country music's most beautiful woman, based on a reader poll in Country Weekly magazine. The article said "To thousands of fans, Faith embodies the ideal woman who really 'has it all' -- classic beauty, a superstar career, a great marriage to Tim McGraw and three lovely daughters. No other country star projects a sexier, more stunning image."

Now I am not going to argue with any of that. But don't you think that posing in a wet shirt gives her an unfair advantage?

Pamela Anderson Takes It Off....Again

Last night Pamela Anderson tore off her clothes, yet again. But this time it was for a good cause (note that Playboy is not considered a good cause...at least by most). Anderson undressed in the window of Stella McCartney's Mayfair boutique to protest the use of animal fur in the fashion industry. The busty blonde held up a banner proclaiming "I'd rather bare skin than wear skin" - surprisingly clever. She then went on to bash other famous celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce Knowles, for their use of fur and the example that sets to their fans.

Days after a camera memory card was stolen containing pictures of Shiloh's baby shower with parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the police have found the suspect and returned the photos to the loving parents. The thief was suspected of trying to sell the photos, but the cops were able to step in before he found a buyer.

Star Jones Says So Long to the View

Yesterday Star Jones announced on live television that she will not be returning next season as one of the hosts of The View. Some bitterness was evident, and she later said that she felt like she was fired, as The View chose not to renew her contract. This was especially tough for Jones as The View just signed Rosie O'Donnell, with whom she has had rather public fights, to join the show. Leave it to Barbara Walters to step in and clear things up - ABC Media told Jones several months ago that they would not be renewing her contract. This news was supposed to be a secret until Thursday, which explains why Barbara Walters may have seemed so surprised at the announcement yesterday. Jones was given these months to secure another job, some extra time that she has apparently not taken advantage of! Well, so long and good riddance to you. Pack your bags and make way for Rosie!

Only hours after Ashlee Simpson declined Playboy's offer to pose nude and finally show up her sister, Britney Spears has appeared on the cover of Bazaar Magazine completely naked, well....except for her necklace. But I guess it was done in a fairly tasteful way, so I do have to commend her. She is staying in the spotlight even with lots of leftover baby weight and a rediculous new hairstyle. Although even I have to admit that she looks pretty good here.

Ashlee Simpson Courted by Playboy

Ashlee Simpson was reported asked to pose for the famous magazine, Playboy. Her publicist, Rob Shuter, confirmed reports yesterday that she was indeed offered $4 million to pose nude but she has declined. That is quite an offer, but I guess when you are already fairly rich you can get by without the extra money. I must say that I am impressed with Ashlee's decision and am now a bigger fan than ever. Ashlee is now on tour in promoting her most recent album I Am Me. Some critics say she should have posed as a way to separate herself from her sister, the pretty one in the family. I guess she doesn't care that much - or at least that is how she wants it to look in the media.

Axl Rose Arrested

Rock singer Axl Rose was released from jail yesterday after paying a $5,500 fine. Rose was in jail for having bitten a security guard on the leg. Strange! I wish I could explain the situation that would lead to Rose biting someone, or offer any sort of explanation, but that seems to be it! For no good reason, Axl Rose bit someone on the leg. Missing being in the spotlight? Perhaps he is infected with rabies? Who knows?

Baby Photos Missing from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Pictures that were stored on a digital memory card were stolen from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The pictures were taken at their personal (read Private) baby shower of their newborn baby Shiloh. Their lawyer has already issued a very firm statement threatening legal action to anyone who publishes or distributes the photos. Although I find it strange that if a memory card goes missing in my house, it is assumed that someone (most likely me) has misplaced it. But if you are famous, then someone has stolen it. If I were famous, then I could report that my wallet, keys, and watch were all stolen, even though I will probably find them underneath the couch cusions later today!

Lohan says fling with Harry Judd never happened

Rocker Harry Judd recently said that he and popstar Lindsay Lohan had a recent fling. While shooting the movie "Just My Luck", Lohan was said to have been flirting with his whole band, McFly, before they all went out for drinks one night. Judd says that he stayed the night with Lohan and left at 8 am the next day. I guess our imagination can fill in the hours in between.

But Lohan's rep has strongly denied that this fling ever happened, and is accusing Judd of creating this story to get some extra publicity as their new album is released. Whether anything happened or not, Lohan's rep does raise a good point - this is awfully conveneint timing for Judd to get some extra airtime on TV.

Paris Hilton - Homewrecker

Not too long ago, Paris Hilton was spotted partying it up in Montreal with hockey star Jose Theodore. At this point, those two hanging is nothing new. What comes as shocking gossip is the recent reports that his time with Paris Hilton has led to the end of the relationship with his girlfriend of 8 years and the mother of his son. This is pretty sad news for Theodore, as there is no confirmation of any inappropriate behavior. But I have to hand it to Paris Hilton who seems to have a natural talent at these types of things. If this was the first report like this involving her maybe I would be a little nicer, but enough is enough!

Jessica Biel Keeping Fit

I am all for celebrities working out in order to maintain their fitness. I understand that for many celebrities, their physical appearance is a big part of their career so maintaining their body is important, both for health reasons and professional reasons. I also encourage for ladies like Jessica Biel, who have great curves that all would miss if she stopped working out.

But c'mon. Rich celebrities, who regularly spend hundreds of dollars to have the latest hairstyles, should be able to afford to go to a real gym. This public working out is just unecessary. I think Jessica Biel should spend some of her cash joining a real gym, or get some dumbells for your own house, but don't do it in the middle of the street!

Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan - Cat Fight?

After years of amicable friendship, things seem to be turning sour for Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. Last Friday night at a private concert for Prince, the two were reported to have had what has been described as a "Huge Fight". And to make it all even juicier, this huge fight was very, very public at an event filled with other famous celebrities, including Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Diddy, who were all to eager to share the celebrity gossip.

Rumor has it that Lohan has been hanging out with Hilton's ex, which is what led to the whole fight. After the tussle, both stars left the show and have been reported to have bumped into each other again at another hot spot in town, although this report has yet to be confirmed. Either way, what a juicy night of celebrity shame for the rest of us to enjoy. But with all of the fighting and screaming, at least they managed not to mess up their hairstyles for the cameras!

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Tie the Knot

After months of planning, and weeks of speculation by the media, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are married. The wedding was a candlelit cemeromy taking place at Sydney's Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel after sundown. In attendance at the big event included Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, and Rupert Murdoch. Nicole's beautiful dress was made by Balenciaga and was amazingly elegant.

According to various guests, the ceremony was deeply touching and passionate, and I don't think that any would would disagree that Kidman looked absolutely stunning, between her hairstyle, dress, and glowing smile.
