Witch House Ride

On April 27 we had our first official ride of the season - to the famed Witch House in Fox Point. This is the home of the late Mary Nohl, outsider artist. She lived alone in her family's North Shore vacation home and built hundreds of cement statues, which earned her a local reputation as a nefarious witch. We didn't see any signs of witchcraft, but we did catch a nice lake breeze on this sunny Sunday afternoon.

The Calendar Filleth

Last night the PPS planning team met over brats and asparagus to discuss spring and summer events. Watch the calendar for a slew of exciting rides to post shortly. The first ride of the season is on April 6 - the Rabbit in a Hat Ride!

The Pedal Pusher Society was covered in today's edition of Morning Blend, WTMJ-4's morning local news piece. Lovely Leslie and our new reporter friend Tim spoke with Morning Blend about bike gangs, pushing pedals and our now-famous video.

PPS to be featured in MKE

The Pedal Pusher Society will be featured on the cover of MKE in its September 14 issue. Reporter Tim Cigelske and Photographer C. Taylor met up with the Pushers prior to their latest ride to conduct interviews and shoot some pictures. The Pedal Pushers drew media attention due to their fabulous video release earlier this summer.

After posing for the camera, the Pushers headed off for a highly instructional "Beer History of Milwaukee" ride, led by amateur beer historian Susie.

The Pedal Pushers just got back from a riverside slumber party. We rode our bikes from Riverwest to Mequon, where we stayed in Shea's mom's house right on the Milwaukee River. We enjoyed grilled sausages, beer, and some paddling on the river at dusk. Here are our pictures:
