Joining them will be tour mates.....CREEPING WEEDS. Here is a cover of I'm a Donkey for Your Love, by Creeping Weeds. BOAT is hoping to perform this song as a huge 9 piece band with Creeping Weeds, on their upcoming East Coast dates.

Two shows this week....BOAT predicts Wiffleball Win!

BOAT will be playing two shows this week. Both will be glorious.

On Wednesday (7/30), BOAT travels to their home away from home (Portland, OR), to play at the Towne Lounge. It is a going away party for Amy McCullough (Willamette Week Editor)......who is spending a year with her husband on a boat. Was it mentioned that both the mightily poppy Aqueduct, and the mightily pretty sounds of Graves will also be on the bill?

On Thursday (7/31), BOAT will play at Neumo's in Seattle. Awesome will be opening the show with a crazy set of sing alongs and non electric guitar rock.

BOAT has a history of horrible luck at Neumo's. This bad luck includes, but is not limited to: dropped drumsticks, broken strings, batteries failing a tuning pedal, batteries failing a keyboard, amp breakage, tuning peg breakage, forgotten sweatshirts, sick stomach and indigestion, falling into cymbals, and lost car keys.

Mt. St. Helen's Vietnam Band is playing their first ever show with BOAT at Neumo's. More shocking.....they challenged BOAT to a post game wiffle ball game! Are they aware of BOAT's wiffle prowess?

BOAT are self proclaimed wiffle champs. M. McKenzie is a Vince Coleman-esque leadoff man. J. Long is a 6 foot plus lefty (think Steve Avery on the mound and Dave Justice at the plate). He will get the start on the wiffle mound for BOAT. D. Crane will close the game if needed and bat last (he is rumored to hit like a non mustachioed version of Kevin McReynolds). BOAT will be playing this Saturday July 12th, with the legendary Tullycraft, and the mighty/popzilla-ish Fishboy. It will be an amazing night of sweaty pop music. It is also Fishboy's only West Coast show. Be there! BOAT will have more deluxe editions of the EP, as well as new/classic tee shirts.

The next night, BOAT has a tour show in Sacramento. It will be a night of driving in order to make it to the delicious Chinese Food haven...P Street, in downtown Sacramento.

Each 7 inch includes a stick of bubble gum, 6 cards, and a download code that will enable you to download all 3 songs from the record as well as a bonus 4th song in mp3 format.

There are 100 deluxe limited editions of the record that come with clear vinyl and a full set of all 25 cards. The deluxe edition will only be available at shows.

BOAT is playing at King Cobra, this Friday June 13th. The show is part of Noise for the Needy. Math and Physics Club, The New Faces, and Kate Tucker and the Sons of Freedom are also part of the show. It should be a fabulous night.

Also....BOAT has just learned that they will be opening for the Long Winters at the Showbox (at the Market) on July 5th! Amazing times! The Long Winters are truly heroes! This show will surely sellout very soon. Click here for tickets.

The "We Jam Super Econo/Ford Focus Mini Tour" begins on Wednesday evening with a long drive south.

BOAT will be playing in San Francisco, at Bottom of the Hill on Thursday 5/15 with Social Studies and the Attachments.

On Friday, BOAT will be playing at the UC Davis Firehouse. They will also be appearing live on the air at Sonoma State University, and on KDVS.

Then....on Saturday....BOAT will be in Portland, OR at Kelly's Olympian.

BOAT's new 7 inch vinyl EP/Maxi Slop Pop Super Single is off to the plant! It is officially called "Topps." More details will be released soon.

In less than two weeks BOAT will be playing in San Francisco at Bottom of the Hill. The mini May tour will also include stops in Davis, CA and Portland, OR. With a bit of luck, and some cotton....new tee shirts will be available at these special shows.

Last but not least....BOAT will be playing their next show on May 9th at the Sunset Tavern with Man Plus and Cock and Swan.

SEATTLE ROCK LOTTERY

This Sunday will be the Seattle Rock Lottery. D. Crane will be participating. Twenty five Seattle musicians/garage rockers meet at Neumo's at 10 am. Five drummers pick names out of a hat. They make five bands. The new bands have to choose a name and make 5 songs. Then at 10 pm, the bands will perform. It should prove to be interesting. Presumably, there will be free pizza???
