That might serve to explain and maybe even to excuse inclusion of the ANS items. But what it really means is that you have relegated your blog to emulate the tabloid, making it into a 'tablog' or even a 'blogoid' or even a 'tablogoid'. Hark! Is that American Media, Inc. ringing up your cel phone?

I wasn't responsible for someone's imagining a connection between Keith Richards and the Yanomamo. For the most part, I don't make the news, I just link to it.

In other words, this blog goes wherever the news takes it, whether it's Star Trek, Bigfoot, Mel Gibson, or Keith Richards.

If someone imagined a connection between snorting Anna Nicole's ashes and Native people...yes, I'd post it. And if there weren't a Native connection, I wouldn't.
