The videographers at PrettyGirl Wedding Media, in Alpharetta, recently shared with us their "Wedding Party Credits" which resemble the opening credits of a television show.

During cocktails, each wedding party member is pulled aside to mug for the camera. Editors then create a montage of the gang with each person's name flashing across the screen - a who's who of your wedding party. The music can be emotional or cheeky. It's a great way to open your wedding video, or PrettyGirl can make DVD copies of the credits, along with a three-minute "highlights" video, as a gift to your group.

I'm currently editing Monique and Alfred's wedding, which took place in February at The Atrium in Norcross. I've been very pleased with the footage I captured with my Glidecam, so I created a quick little video:

It was a little overcast that day, but in some ways that's better than a sunny day because I don't have to work around glare or shadows while filming outdoors. It also helped that we were shooting in The Atrium's beautiful courtyard, which has several ideal spots to film the bride and groom.

When prospective clients view our DVD demo, we always get a very enthusiastic response about our "3-Minute Day" music videos. Isel & Russ got married at the historic Flint Hill mansion in Norcross (which is just north of Atlanta). Their "3-Minute Day" video captures all the highlights of their wedding day, from their formal photo shoot before the ceremony through their midnight exit from the venue.

The edited ceremony and reception, which are presented documentary-style with live audio, can run anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes.
