Your son is a cutie! 3 yrs. is the pacifier cut off at our house as well- if you just can't do it (It is the hardest thing in the world for me)try poking a hole in it. That way he can't get suction and it will break the sucking habit, but he can still have it for comfort- just my 2 cents.
