He wrote "I owe $11,854 [in property tax]... My parents, who live next door, with the same size lot, will be paying $1696...
Even though our property taxes are [sic] nearly a 10 to 1 difference..."

Actually, it's a 7 to 1 difference, not 10 to 1. Maybe he should voluntarily contribute 43% more in property taxes so that his claim will be accurate.

Funny that he still lives with his parents, more or less. Did they buy Little Petey-Louie's next-door house for him with the money that they saved through Prop. 13's inherent unfairness? They are paying less in property tax than a new buyer of a $155K condo. Where can you find anything that cheap in the worst slums of SJ, much less in Willow Glen?

Little Petey-Louie is an embarrassment to this city.
When is he up for re-election?

And why has the Metro taken this political neophyte and poseur under its wing, giving him free weekly exposure in its SJI blog and print section? Does Dan Pulcrano see Little P-L as an easily manipulated naif?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2930634009345562252.post-4009300404417175502008-09-25T08:09:00.000-07:002008-09-25T08:09:00.000-07:00Touche!Touche!San Jose Revealedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09725910637475849259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2930634009345562252.post-30677974543695931842008-09-24T23:25:00.000-07:002008-09-24T23:25:00.000-07:00Seems Pierre isn't the only one who thinks he's sm...Seems Pierre isn't the only one who thinks he's smarter than everyone else.

Just sayin'Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2930634009345562252.post-64604124808636254972008-09-24T22:44:00.000-07:002008-09-24T22:44:00.000-07:00Maybe Pierluigi would rather see people sleep in p...Maybe Pierluigi would rather see people sleep in parks than have affordable housing. His action on airport employees pay shows that he lacks compassion for those who need affordable housing; now he is voting to make it more difficult to build.

I guess when you represent a district with two of the toniest neighborhoods in the city you don't really see too many poor people.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2930634009345562252.post-64635561083065381302008-09-24T11:15:00.000-07:002008-09-24T11:15:00.000-07:00I think our Mayor and Council need to address the ...I think our Mayor and Council need to address the outrageous rents landlords are charging, along with looking at affordable housing. We have a watered down version of a once tough rent control ordinance that is not being enforced. They won’t take on rent control or enforcement because they don’t want to hold property owners accountable for their brand of theft on the citizens of San Jose. Property owners contribute big bucks to campaigns, and one of our Council Members is a landlord!

Too many landlords are setting rents at TWICE what they were last year, before the mortgage melt down. Remember that this type of rent gouging is what drove renters to buying homes they couldn't afford, and right into the arms of these thieving loan companies in the first place. Enough is enough! It is time for the Mayor and Council to address this housing issue from all sides.

By the way, have you noticed that our surrounding cities don’t allow very much affordable housing built on their turf, but they have businesses galore paying them great revenue? Don’t you think the housing crisis extends to ALL of Santa Clara County?Kathleennoreply@blogger.com
