Robert Knepper Confirmed as a Series Regular

At this past week's Heroes Comic Con Panel, Robert Knepper who plays new villain Samuel hinted that he might have a much larger role than the initial 6 episodes he was scheduled for.

Today we got official confirmation via our source with NBC that Knepper has indeed been cast as a series regular in Season 4 (Volume 5 Redemption). I have been a huge fan of Knepper since his role as T-Bag on Prison Break and I am really happy to see him signed on as a "series regular".

Also, confirmed once again is his ability as an "Earth Mover".

Heroes has found an actress to torture Claire (Hayden Panettiere) as her new sorority pledge master. Tessa Thompson, who played Jackie Cook on Veronica Mars during the 2005-06 season, will play upperclassman Becky, who is protecting a secret of her own. Expect Claire and Becky to clash.

New Site Design, New Features and Call for Recappers

Hi All,

As you may have noticed the site has undergone a bit of a revamp thanks to my good friend Matt who has helped with the new design. We hope that you find the navigation a bit cleaner and that the site should load a bit quicker.

We are also working on the ability for you to select different Themes for how the site looks eg a a Fringe Theme, True Blood Theme, Lost Theme etc. These will be coming shortly. Below is a sneak peek of what the site might look like.

We are also venturing into the world of Show Recaps. Our first recapper "TV Obsessed" will be starting to post recaps of various shows and we hope you enjoy these as well as the spoilers, news and videos we provide.

Hey All,
Here is something I did not expect to see. The very first promotional picture for season 4 is of model/actress Dawn Oliveri who will be playing "Tattoo Girl" Lydia. Earlier this week Oliveri's casting was made public by the press release for the Heroes Panel at Comic Con, which confirmed she would be a part of the cast that was attending.

Apparently Heroes producer Adam Armus was interviewed by IGN providing them with the first details about her character.

Here is the article:

"Lydia is the beautiful, charming, soul of the Sullivan Brothers Carnival. This carnival is a roving band of people blessed with special abilities. They are powerful, but they hide in the shadows, performing on the outskirts of towns and cities. But all of that is about to change.

Lydia has been part of this carnival for a number of years. She is the exotic tattoo lady, but she is also a powerful empath of sorts. She has the ability to 'sense' the images on her body and provide valuable information about them. This ability is of great value to Samuel (Robert Knepper), the leader of the carnival. He uses Lydia's ability to locate other 'specials' in the world and uses the information she provides to woo them to his side.

Lydia is compassionate towards Samuel. She understands the grief that has fueled his ambition. But will she support his ultimate destructive goals? Will she be loyal or does Lydia have her own agenda?"

Swoosie Kurtz to Return for Season 4

Hey All,
Last season former Pushing Daisies star Swoosie Kurtz made a guest appearance as Millie in Season 3 as Angela's friend.

Well word is that she will return with a storyline revealing who her daughter is and that it is apparently connected to the "shocking" storyline connected to Angela's past. The big Petrelli Family secret also seems to link back to a crime that Nathan committed as a child.

Here a quote thanks to TV Guide that explains a little more:

“In the third episode, a decision Angela made twenty years ago comes back to haunt her,” hints Christine Rose (Angela) of the flashback scene. Adds Adrian Pasdar (Nathan): “An incident occurred when Nathan was a boy that he has no memory of. He has to go and make amends for the crime he committed and the whole thing ends up very poorly.”

Heroes Panel Confirmed for Comic Con 09

Hey All,
So after all of the speculation about whether Heroes will be at Comic Con or have a panel or not, well an official press release was finally sent out confirming the details of the panel, including who, when and where!! The panel will also premiere the first official trailer for Volume 5!!

Now the interesting this is, I believe they waited too long to decide and it seems like their panel will be held at the nearby Hilton Hotel. I am not sure how many people fit in that room or how the Comic Con tickets work for the event.

I will be in town and planning to meet up with other Heroes fans including the fellas from the Heroes Podcast. If you will be attending, please send us an email (mrtheodi@gmail.com) if you want to meet up or if you would like to help in live blogging the event.

The whole cast will NOT be in attendance, but four regulars will appear with a few of the new cast members including Ray Park and Robert Knepper.
