It's the UK's longest running car rally, with around 500 cars from the year 1905 or even earlier. "Would you like a pin"? Just thought I'd put a couple pictures up from the launch of the <a href="http://www.britishlegion.org.uk/">Poppy Appeal 2007</a> that I attended last week. That's Aidan, whose father Mick Thompson served in the Army for 27 years until 2005, when he was killed on his way to work in Cyprus.<br /><br />I guess the reason I'm doing this is to show that anyone and everyone could be affected in some way by conflict - but Craig (aka Freddie Lundberg) says it much better:<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">I’m really supportive of the Legion and the work it does. My experiences have shown me that, as a soldier, you just don't know what the future holds and when you might need to ask for help.
