To really free ourselves to create, we have to abandon the comfort of knowing how things will turn out. Of course, the irony is that we never know how things will turn out - but so often we convince ourselves that this or that path is the "safe" choice, and this other path is the "creative" one - the one where we abandon our illusion of prescience and really expose ourselves.
