Absolutely yummy and great with mashed potato, we even ate the left overs the next day tossed thru some pasta, I called it "penne with lamb ragu".hiroshihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10161797724923844867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28057071.post-71785724165961113622008-09-23T20:46:00.000+10:002008-09-23T20:46:00.000+10:00I made this recipe using left over lamb pieces (sl...I made this recipe using left over lamb pieces (slow cooked whole lamb on the spit), it was beautiful & as the meat was previously cooked, it was lovely & tender once added back to the pot with the rest of the ingredients.Katherinenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28057071.post-79750742191471614302008-09-22T17:19:00.000+10:002008-09-22T17:19:00.000+10:00I made this recipe today and just tried a bowl. The meat was tender and the thick gravy was really nice. I added a 1/4 cup of red wine as well without reducing the stock. I happy with the result but was surprised to see that it hadn't taken that long to cook.
Thanks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28057071.post-85647994350681411162008-09-01T18:45:00.000+10:002008-09-01T18:45:00.000+10:00The cooking time required will depend on how tende...The cooking time required will depend on how tender the meat is to start with, and how rapidly the stew is simmered. I didn't end up cooking for 2 and a 1/2 hrs, as the meat was tender and the liquid had reduced in 1 and 1/4. I used a very heavy based saucepan and had simmered for most the time.Do you think this might have made a difference?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28057071.post-17026771843519246912008-08-28T17:02:00.000+10:002008-08-28T17:02:00.000+10:00Hi Chrissie,We think that this recipe would be sui...Hi Chrissie,

We think that this recipe would be suitable for a slow cooker.
