Craft Studio - Make Over Part 1

I found inspiration for furnishing my craft room from many different blog/ site and I am in serious need of a craft studio makeover. But my budget won't allow for a new furniture.
I bought this chair at 2nd hand shop for just RM250.
Although It's a nice wood, but it looks old, First I thought I want to have a white furniture, but I decided to choose a shock pink color. Not too shock but it's really suit my others wall art and match my laptop color. So I pick up a can of paint and get to work.
As usual my daughter & my cats help me. Walla, It turn great.

Yesterday I went to PC Fair. Looking for a new laptop. Bought this new Fujitsu L Series L1010. It come with a few range of colors and I choose pink. I make a comparison with Toshiba M300, and I decided to angkat this Fujitsu. Good price with a good specs.

Come with a gift such as mouse, usb connector, headphone, bag bla-bla.

Police won’t give permit for group’s naked protest

SHAH ALAM: Selangor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar has make it clear that any application to publicly gather in the buff will be rejected.

However, he did not think anyone would make the application.

“No one is stupid to request to be naked in public.

“No (permit) consideration will be given, but they are welcome to be naked in their room if they want,” he said after receiving 1,200 ketamine drug test kits, courtesy of the Selangor Justice Peace Association, at the state police headquarters yesterday.

Khalid was asked about the proposed intention of Malaysian People’s Reform Movement (Reformis) members to strip naked, as a last resort, to protest against a hike in rental rates for government low-cost houses under the People’s Housing Scheme.

It had been reported earlier that the group was prepared to strip off outside the office of the Mentri Besar after a state executive council decision in July to raise rent for around 6,200 homes under the scheme from RM124 to RM250 a month.

Yesterday I went to Cash Converters outlet at Giant shopping mall. The shopping was awesome.

I found this gigantic wire basket which cost me RM39. I thought maybe I can use it to put an egg inside & store up to 3 dozen eggs. Then I can hang it from a ceiling rack or place on a shelf. Good ideas. :)

Then I got this wood key box for just RM39, it''s so beautiful. A kitchen always need a good country style clock. So i decided to buy this fruit kitchen clock for RM10, 3 container RM8, a hand gloves, cost RM2.50 for my gardening project and a BBQ Grilling Tools for just RM29 (need to wash properly).
That sounds like a pretty good spending of RM127.50.

Logitech Alto Cordless

I got it with a good price. If you need a notebook stand, but hate wires, then Logitech Alto Cordless might be suit you. This unit is heavy. Although the keyboard looks nice but the weight almost twice the weight of my laptop. Be aware this set does not include a wireless mouse It's not a big deal, but it would have been nice if they include wireless mouse instead of USB dongle and I realized that the USB cable which connects to the computer is too short.

Despite of the bad I mentioned above, Overall I still like this stand. The stand holds laptop firmly at a nice angle, the keyboard has all needed functions available and it's perfect with the separate keyboard. Also nice to have no cords like a desktop. I would highly recommend this product.

Campak & Potong Bread Pudding

Hi everyone, Just thought you might like to try this 101 bread. I made this bread pudding aka puding roti yesterday. I did actually have a kismis but I want to try banana instead of kismis. So this kind of bread is like 123. It's easier as campak dan potong. This delicious pudding is a combination of bread, banana, milk, eggs, sugar, and flavoring of vanilla then baked it. Seriously, kismis or not, home made bread pudding sure tastes better.

Carabao Thai Restaurant

Let me introduce to you my buka puasa for yesterday.
I had dinner with my friends at Carabao Thai Restaurant which's located next to New York Hotel, JB. We had a delicious Thai dinner, the food was good and we had a great time especially my daughter Dhiacoco. Start with butter prawn, Kerapu steam, Clear Tomyam, Green Chicken curry, and pineapple fried rice.

The restaurant was a bit busy and crowd but still had a very nice resort atmosphere. Dhiacoco even spent almost 10 minutes riding the rocking horse.

Squid Spice Sambal

Lately I love to talk about food. And almost everyday I cook for my family.
Here is the squid sambal that I made for lunch. See the color. Uhu..yam yam.
And next introducing to you hot fry lala with sambal sauce. It is clams in chillies. The gravy is spicy and it would be great if you eat with a steam white rice. Enjoy.

Introducing Spices Shrimp Sambal. I love spicy food and and I love shrimp. The best part is if you serve rice cooked in coconut milk with this hot and spicy sambal.

The next menu is chicken hot mamamia( Chicken Cooked with Bird's-Eye Chilli) . I made this dish to complement my prawn sambal. These dish is my grandma speciality and favourite by all in our family and now inherited in my kitchen too.

Seafood Salad : Diet meal

Why don't you try this Seafood Salad for your family? With extra-extra gajus & prawn. This salad is nutritious and quick to make as well. My personal favorite, Nyam-nyam.

Ingredients

prawn, fish, squid

5 shallots, sliced finely

10 cilipadi, sliced finely

Seasoning:

3 tbsp lime juice

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp fish sauce

Garnishing:

Coriander leaves

Gajus

Method
Combine seasoning ingredients in a mixing bowl. Stir in all shredded ingredients.

Looking for a radio with toaster? Ariete Radio Toaster is the answer. You can buy it either at Parkson or Best Denki. Clean retro design and very classic. Got 3 color available. Silver, black & red. I bought the silver design. The price at Best Denki is much more cheaper than Parkson. It cost RM349.
You can choose either want to listen to the radio or prepare a toaster or both work at the time. The toaster has a built–in FM radio with "Seek" and "Reset" options and adjustable telescoping antenna. Below picture is a removable crumb tray. Where you can wash it and clean after use. Cool stuff.

Lady bug & Mr Potatohead amigurumi

I made my first ladybug amigurumi from needlesnoodles free pattern. It's so cute from the picture.

So I want to make it for my daughter.The finishing project should be look like this>>>>

This is my 2nd amigurumi that I made for my daughter, Dhiacoco. It should be an owl, but it turn out to be Mr potatohead.
