Great idea, hon! We taped red masking tape to mark our expired auto-injectors.<br /><br />The result: an impromptu Mother's Day bouquet. Not quite as lovely and sweet-scented as a dozen roses but considering what they represent... the ability to keep my child safe, I'll take it... along with the fabulous brunch we're going to at 11 am!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.checkmytag.com/uploaded_images/expired_epipens-762086.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="http://www.checkmytag.com/uploaded_images/expired_epipens-762068.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a>Happy Mother's Day, Allergy Moms! Enjoy your day and don't forget to take your autoinjectors!<br /><br />Ria<br /><br />p.s. When I collected all our expired Epi-pens in one place, the sheer number of them was a little shocking. We save them to train friends and sitters but I think you can also return them to the pharmacy. I'd love to hear what you do with yours!<br /><br /><br /><!-- AddThis Button BEGIN --><br /><a href="http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php" onclick="addthis_url = location.href; addthis_title = document.title; return addthis_click(this);" target="_blank"><img src="http://s9.addthis.com/button1-share.gif" alt="Bookmark and Share" border="0" height="16" width="125" /></a> <script type="text/javascript">var addthis_pub = 'checkmystuff';</script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://s9.addthis.com/js/widget.php?v=10"></script><br /><!-- AddThis Button END --><div class="blogger-post-footer">Resources for families living with food allergies (peanut allergy, nut allergy, egg allergy, wheat allergy, milk allergy, fish allergy, shellfish allergy, and soy allergy)</div>Riahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05026471047934567722noreply@blogger.com
