I enjoyed reading this blog. You are right, as usual! We all have SO MUCH to be thankful for. Carlo and I are thankful to have you and Andre as friends, and sweet Annabelle to hum the "I Dream of Jeannie" theme to. That song was all I could think of to sing to her that night at the Italian restaurant, the one with the fab food but foul waitress, which shall remained unnamed!
Anyway, please give my best to Aunt Jan (who will always be Jan R-regardless of what the "R" stands for).
We miss you all and are counting the days until you move back to Texas.

I love your blog. It is exactly how I feel sometimes. I always have to take a minute and look around and realize I may not have it all, but I am the richest person in the world when it comes to friendships...and Iw would not trade it for the world.

I always get a little depressed when I leave Texas. I spend the next 2 or 3 days listening to TExas Country singers or songs about Texas wondering what the hell am I doing here in D.C. But then when I really think about coming home, I wonder if I could do it.

And yes, I will always be there to argue "our side" when it comes to Michael Vick and other issues. I actually was very excited you were there for dinner because I thought...if anyone can win a discussion, it is me and Geneen!. BRING IT ON! :)
