I want to inspire myself to create daily and fill my life with art and color. I am trying to be more green in my daily life and hope to inspire others to be more gentle to our Earth.Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.comBlogger269125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-34594857775687394372009-07-15T11:22:00.000-07:002009-07-15T11:32:24.588-07:00Totally thrilledYou know how we all leave comments on blogs here and there for give aways? A stamp set there, a kit or class on someone's blog. Well I never EVER win. Ever. I am okay with that. Truly. I like being given the opportunity and just for a second I think wouldn't it be cool if I did win?

Well yesterday it happened! My first blog giveway win. I'm very grateful. I won a spot in the online class "Still more mad digi skills" by Pattie Knox on get it scrapped website. Doesnt' that just sound like me??? I'm so happy. Yesterday the first class started. It is very cool. I learned something new to do which is always nice. Especially since I'm not able to spend money on cool online classes I'd like to take. I also really like the website and the other classes offered.

I won the class from Dina's blog. She was giving the spot in the class away. Thanks again Dina if you are reading!

Happy Wednesday! Sorry no eye candy today!

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-73540407525850976782009-07-13T18:01:00.000-07:002009-07-13T18:19:01.323-07:00Gift givingWell since I have little money lately to buy gifts with I decided to make my college roommate's birthday gift I usually send her yearly. Her birthday is Friday. I'm a little late in sending it out. ha!
I saw this packaging in the new paper craft gift mag. I thought it was so cute. Her favorite candy is Jelly belly popcorn flavored jelly beans. So I made this up for her. The popcorn stamp on it is from Stampin' Up.

Its almost impossible to get a really good picture of it.

I also made this card. The whale on the card is colored with copics and is my design and hand carved stamp I made. I've been dying to use this Basic Grey paper up forever and a day. I've literally had it for YEARS. How sad is that? I know that many of us do this though. Especially when we know eventually it won't be easy to get more of it.

So I made her these and I'm hoping to get a cute wallet from Steinmart to go with it or a Starbucks gift card and call it a day. Luckily she doesn't read my blog or she'd see what she was getting! I wanted to make her a small album for her daughters pictures, but I'm having serious mini album blockage. I haven't been able to complete a mini album in AGES. I start them and then feel blocked. Its crazy. I used to love them. I was a mini album making fool. I don't know how that happened.

I guess like I've said before its a stages thing. A slight ADD of crafting taking over. Right now I'm feeling doing cards and art journal pages. I like digital layouts too.

I also came across a very cool free class via video on two peas. Its how to use distress inks and other ink products. Its a nine week class. Jennifer McGuire has all these tutorials on thinking inks free video classes on two peas. The videos are awesome. I'm really loving this. Makes me want to actually use all the ranger products I have collecting dust! No seriously I use the heck out of my distressed inks, but wow theres so much more you can do with them!

Well tomorrow, I plan on trying again to sign up for college classes tomorrow. I was shot down last week. Wish me luck tomorrow.

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-26665683296178416222009-07-11T05:50:00.001-07:002009-07-11T17:26:05.038-07:00Weekend CEC style

Here's one of my newest digital layouts. God knows when I'm ever going to print these all out. I surely don't have the money for it anytime soon! lol. But as you can see on my layout these are my daily loves. I've always wanted to do a layout like this and the sketch from pagemaps made it pop in my head. I don't know if you notice, but there are 3 different types of lotions on my layout. Lol. I'm a slathering fool. I'm 31 now. I live in the bright sunny south. I've realized if I don't take care of my skin and pronto... I'm might look a little like tanned handbag way before I need to. Also I use the belly butter for left over stretch marks from pregnancy with Leo. Though he's almost two in a couple months(november) I still have the "indentions" in my belly. eh.. I'm hoping with time they'll go away completely?? haha I can dream. Slather me up!

I will soon be moving my crafting area over to a different part of my bedroom. I'm very excited. I'll have alot more area.

Off to Chuck E cheese today. Have a great weekend.

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-21519635310941257632009-07-08T04:15:00.000-07:002009-07-08T04:41:21.641-07:00copic finally!I finally have gotten around to taking some pictures of my copic stuff. I LOVE the markers just like everyone else that I've read. They are truly cool and it stinks I'm not spending money and can't buy more! I got the ones I have from Hobby Lobby a few weeks back when visiting my friend in Alabama. They were 30% off and still expensive! lol

Here's the ones I got.

I watched a few you tube tutorials on how to use them and what the codes on the top of them mean. This really helped me pick out the right colors I wanted to start with. I like this video and this video.

Here's my first card I made with my copic markers stamped image. The papers are SEI, the stamped elephants are CTMH.

This is also a picture of an image I colored on my art journal page. I'm not posting the page, cause its kinda personal. I wish I had gotten a better pic of the image. I might change with picture out with a better one soon. But still you can see how cool the markers work. I do truly have a love affair with them. I feel like I need at least a dozen more easily. I need to win the
lotto!

Today I have to go to the gym and stop by the grocery store. I need ice cream and breakfest bars. Nothing grand. Last night, we received the roku thing my husband ordered a few weeks ago. You hook it up to your tv and you can watch your instant netflix movies on your tv. Its pretty neat. Logan is happy. I got rid of cable a week ago to save money. (hubby had already ordered this new gadget) So it works out. I pay 8 dollars a month for Netflix and they have all the kids shows and movies on instant watch. I still have to pay for roadrunner internet unfortuately. It ain't cheap either. Bah.. Oh well.. I have to have internet for school and I'd die with out reading my blogs I love. Isn't that sad? lol Its my free online inspirations.

Well off to get ready for the gym. Thanks for viewing!

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-86276406066449643342009-07-07T04:38:00.000-07:002009-07-07T04:53:27.137-07:00altered photos showcase

I did a little digital scrapbooking last night and made this. The challenge was to use a picture with a large amount of sunshine in it. Very cool. I had never done this before in photoshop. Here's the before picture...

Here's the after:

All you do is go into photoshop layers, then find lens flare. You can choose what type of sunshine light you want and how bright. I also changed the saturation and coloring of the photo. Very cool. OH how I love photoshop.

Well I am going to my local college today to sign up for this fall! I'm so excited. I'm on my journey to become a paralegal. Yeah! Very very excited. I hope that since I have all my transcripts that things go smoothly. *fingers crossed* I also hope they have all the law classes I need to take at a local campus at night! I need night classes badly.

I'll keep ya posted!

Thanks for stopping by.

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-59629842972729569702009-07-04T04:09:00.000-07:002009-07-04T04:20:42.946-07:00Scrapbooking for only happy people?

1. Bats amongst the Clouds (Blessings from Heaven) - design for main panels of travelling robe (chien yi)., 2. In Full Sail, 3. Zhan Tongxuan - Zoo park, 4. artist prayer flags, 5. Bookmark, 6. WIP - Love Bird Quilt, 7. caardvarks don't quote me, 8. Her memories, 9. POD-congratulations-e

I felt lazy and added a mosaic of my favs from flickr.

I'm lazy on this blog post. STILL haven't taken pics of my copic stuff. Its been raining up a storm here lately and well.. I've had stuff going on. I feel like I want to scrapbook actual 12x12 pages, but even when it comes to digital I feel blocked. I'm not in that happy lets celebrate and memorialize this specific period in time. Sometimes I feel journaling is so forced anyway to sound "cheery". Not just by me. I've read other people's journaling and been like eh.. Some people are really good at it. Sometimes I am. Just not at the moment.

So I've been thinking and planning on doing more art journal pages. Good therapy with paints and paper. I am thinking of starting some home decor type items with my stash. My big thing is I'm low on money right now. So I'm going to have to use what I have and dig deep. So thats the plan.

Today I have to go to the gym like usual. I realized my new gym does not have the kid's area open on Sunday. Bummer. I'd like to do a swim class this morning, but its going to be Leo's first day in the kids area by himself (Logan will be with dad), I'm worried he'll be a freakin'. I don't want to have to get him all wet and soggy. So I'll just stick with a machine to get my cardio today.

Ooh I also finally came up with a pretty cool idea how to decorate the bedroom. The vaulted ceilings are high and I can't paint them myself. Its expensive to hire someone to do that. So I'm going to do a half paint with a painted border and or molding. Not sure. Still thinking about it.

Busy weekend ahead.

Thanks for stopping by.

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-13117873499808938522009-07-01T04:39:00.000-07:002009-07-01T04:46:13.207-07:00Life moves to fast for me.I'm really lately in a horrible place. I don't know how I'm going to move into something good from here, but it is what it is. If some of my usual cheery stuff gets a bit dark... well... it is what it is. On a total random note. Here's a bunch of photos I wanted to share. Just things from the past month.

My front door finished paper mosaic to keep solicitor eyes from viewing in.

My fav new pic of Leo. This is my third one surprisingly! I want to keep doing them all year and print them out and keep them in a special album. I think I started in April, so I'll go till next April maybe?? They aren't for anyone else's challenge. Just something I came up with that I liked. I've seen other people do bulletin boards so I wanted to do this little shelf type board. You can get the shelf from Scrapartist.com.

The dandelion print is by Alan Buckle. I really needed a gym with childcare. I'm excited to be going back to my old gym, but now I have to get used to going during the day to the gym again. I'm already kinda eh... about going this morning. blah.. I am also waiting for two more transcripts and lucky me will be returning to college! Thats right I'm going back. I'm going for a paralegal degree. Its exciting and scary all at the same time. More scary. lol.

I wonder if I still have the brain power to keep up. I mean after all mommy playdates and watching Spongebob does not challenge your brain muscle let me tell ya. I wish I had done it years ago. I wish I had never dropped out of college in the first place. But alas...life is what it is. I have more regrets than not and probably I'll be adding to those soon.

I still haven't taken pictures of my copic marker made stuff. I will. Unfortuately, when I think about it, its raining! I need good light to take pics. Well I gotta get the boys up, take some tylenol (my back is killing me!) and go to the gym. Rain you won't stop me today! I have 4 lbs to go till my goal weight. Tomorrow is my one year anniversary of starting my weight loss and healthy living. I think being 4 lbs off is not too shabby.

Thanks for stopping by!

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-8850038249444820522009-06-27T05:37:00.000-07:002009-06-27T05:47:41.803-07:00Digi Dare 139

I've been a horrible blogger recently. Just too much going on. Little creative juices flowin'. I just feel like I'm at one of those crossroads in my life. I'm not sure where I'm going or what I want to do. I feel angry and upset and just not me. So thats where this layout is coming from. It was a digi dare. I love those dang dares. If nothing else they'll give ya the oomph to get something done. No matter what you are feeling like. I made this late last night and did very little actual writing down what each piece part came from. Forgive me. Mostly its Mysterious Melancholy kit (again from after five designs I love that kit.), some creation 23, rocks and metal from the by the sea collab kit on after five. The fonts are scratchy alpha from after five and fff fusi.

I had a great time in Alabama with my crafty buddy, Sherrie. She took me to Hobby Lobby where they had their copic markers on sale! We don't have a Hobby Lobby in FL. So I decided to jump in and got about 7 copic markers. I LOVE them. I will be showing some stuff made with them soon. If you wonder if the expensive little buggers are worth it? They so are. LOVE THEM. I watched a few you tube how to use them and that really helped.

Off to go get our weekend going. I made instant bacon grits this morning and I feel like I ate nothing! I'm starving! More coffee will help. My coffee isn't nearly as good as Sherries. I miss it Sherrie!! Miss you guys! We love you! Send me those pics of us on the train or send me the pic of us together on your phone to my phone.

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-67405061574453233132009-06-20T04:05:00.000-07:002009-06-20T04:24:39.954-07:00New Caardvarks challenge! Guest designer

I was thrilled to be choosen to be a guest designer for the June 20th Caardvarks challenge. The challenge is windows. Whatever that means to you. There are such neat things the DT and guests have done. Go check it out!

Here are my two cards I made for the challenge. First my blue baby boy card. I used blue cardstock, and made the card and square frame. I took an old stained baby onesie and cut it up for the face of the polar bear to put behind the frame. Then mounted it to the card with pop up foam dots. I then laced the embroidery floss around the frame and tied it. The little happy plastic greeting I got from Joanns years ago. The hearts are a paper punch with three side by side. Inside the greeting says "you are here".

I love this card. Its adorable and recycled my baby onesie cuteness that was all stained up.

My second card is a hybrid card.

The digital elements are from the Mysterious Melancholy kit on After five designs. I printed out the frame with the butterfly after adding shadows and adhered it to the cardstock, patterened paper and card. I printed out a separate butterfly cut it out and adhered it to the original butterfly image so its popped up. Some flowers, button, and embroidery floss and voila' done.

I also used stickles on the butterfly, but its difficult to tell in the picture.

What a fun challenge. Can't wait to see what the next one will be.

I'm going soon to visit my best bud, Sherrie in Alabama. I'll be gone for awhile. I am very excited to see her and we'll be doing some crafting! Yeah!

I just have to figure out what crafty stuff to pack! Though she has tons just like me.

Off to get things done today. Want to work on replacing some grout and hoping to take little Leo to the aquarium just him and I. I want to get tons of good pics and play out in the water area with him. Its a Mommy and Leo weekend.

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-32714876093782357112009-06-03T19:03:00.000-07:002009-06-03T19:06:28.015-07:00sketch this challenge 87
I really felt like doing a sketch tonight. I just wanted to share this layout with a pic from our cruise. I love this photo. Logan and Leo were not really impressed with the character breakfast. I only have 2 good shots from it. Oh well... I love doing these little digi layouts. I hope to do one every month and print them out next April. I obviously started later in the year. We had a good time on our cruise. I came home with a cold. I feel so sick. I can't go to the gym tonight. This totally bums me out. I ate too many desserts on the ship. I was unhappy to see that they didn't have any grits or decent biscuits and gravy for breakfast. It was probably better for my waist anyways.

I wish I had got some of those kleenex with the lotion in the tissues. My nose hurts. eh..
I hope to be well enough to go to the gym tomorrow. I also want to get my snorkeling pics developed. Next time I want to get this camera to take with. One guy had one on the excursion. HOW cool is it?? He had a cool orange one. I swam with sea turtles! It was so cool. My fav part.

Well I'm off to Nyquil myself up and go to bed. The theme was "Secret".
It was like therapy. Its about how Leo was on my last nerve. That boy can be so sweet, but jeez.. I wish he'd grow out of the I want to kick my brother's a@@ stage. He's 18 mths and always trying to kick, hit, or throw toys at Logan. Drives me bonkers. He hurts Logan. Logan will be sitting watching tv and minding his own business. Then hurricane Leo comes up ticked off that he's not being paid attention to and WHAM. Poor Logan. It makes for long days let me tell ya. I'm scared of how this summer will go with them home together all day. eh...

I won't be around for awhile. We're going on vacation soon! yeah!! A cruise. Very excited. I hope to swim, swim, snorkel and swim some more.

I have 8 lbs left till I hit my goal weight. I don't want to gain any weight on the ship. I hope I can stay strong! I plan on working out in the gym on board with my dad daily. I need to seriously start hitting up my stomach muscles. They have not snapped back as I would like to see. Csections do that I guess, but still! I want some abs o' steel. I'll take hard plastic if need be. Something a little more chiseled.

I'm off to mess on the computer for awhile. I don't plan on bringing it on the ship. I don't believe in trying to stay connected while on vacation. I have nothing that important I can't take 7 days off from. Hubby will have his if I really need something. I think he might get the shakes with out his laptop. I am bringing all my prismacolor colored pencils, scissors, glue stick, pencils, and my moleskin art journal. Maybe I'll have time to sketch out some new stamps to carve or something?? Hope so!

Have a great Memorial weekend!

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-82515535432947518632009-05-16T04:08:00.000-07:002009-05-16T04:13:54.803-07:00Productive!
I was on a roll last night. I finished this digital layout that was a template from After Five challenge. I also finished TWO cards for the June 20th Caardvark challenge I'm GDT for. Yeah! They tuned out so cute. My goal is to get two good pictures of them this weekend. I hope to make some sort of crafty type item to go with them if possible or one more card with a new hand carved stamp.

Today we're having a small bbq with friends and I should totally be vaccuuming and moping instead of on here!

Dakota, one of our huskies is blowing a coat for the last week and there is more hair than usual EVERYWHERE. Its so hard to keep up with. Had some mini van issues the other day, they are now all fixed up. Life is good. Looking forward to a great weekend. We went shopping without kidlets. Nice.. I tried clothes on in the store. That is not the norm. Usually I estimate, take it home try it on and return if need be. I also got a new phone! I'm loving my new LG shine phone. I don't do what many people do with their phones. I have no need for web access. I like having a cute ringtone and I've recently seen the need to be able to text. Other than that though... eh.. I barely use 200 mins on my phone a month. I like having my phone be cute more than anything.

I was pressured into buying a ugly hard metal case to "carry" my phone. Hello?? Who other than men wear those hard plastic batman belt looking carriers the phone companies have? I don't have a utility belt. I don't want to carry that hard plastic ugly thing in my purse either. SO...

I quickly threw together this last night to cradle my precious. :) It is just felt (the cheap stuff), embroidery floss, and bits and pieces of apple print flannel with a ribbon around it. I love it. It could be done a little neater. It could have some buttons added to the front, but all and all it works great! And its a HUGE improvement to what I could have dropped money on. It was also made with things I already had. So it was essentially free. (or using things I already paid for!)
Eventually I plan on making a slightly more stylish clean looking one, but till I can safely drag out my sewing machine and not have a toddler trying to break it or hurt himself it can wait.
Thanks for stopping by!

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-53247211269612168722009-05-08T16:27:00.000-07:002009-05-08T16:36:46.030-07:00Caardvark quote challenge card

I finished the card for the quote Caardvarks challenge. I love how it turned out. I was jazzed to be able to use some of my decorative tape too. That wave border is deco tape! Cool right? This card is so me. I already have another quote idea in my head too. I'm feelin' a card addiction coming on for awhile. I've been doing digi layouts for awhile now, maybe its time to be doing cards again. I am really feeling the hybrid cards too.

Today I went to my son's class for the mother's day party. It was great. They made us wear big paper hats and drink tea with fake pearl necklaces on. There were even small little cakes to eat. (I had to steer clear of those!) I'm sad kindergarten is almost over, but I really am ready for him to move on to 1st grade. I think next year he's going to grow so much and learn so much its going to be amazing. I can't believe at this point how well he reads and prints. He prints better than my husband. Seriously.

Tomorrow I'm dragging the fam to the mall. I know crazy. But I have a shirt that I must exchange sizes for and I want to try on this dress that is on sale till Sunday on. *fingers crossed they'll have my size* I can't stop thinking about that dress! I really see myself wearing tons of cute cotton summer dresses this summer. I am in almost perfect shape (10ish lbs left to go) and I feel so airy and nice in cotton pretty dresses.

Tonight I plan on playing on the computer for awhile and then hitting the sack early. Nothing to grand. Oops I forgot I have to go finish the front door project too. (see prior entry 2 back)

Have a great Mother's day weekend everyone!

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-65851668525005664142009-05-06T17:56:00.000-07:002009-05-06T18:14:23.575-07:00Sneak peak into my progressWell I was featured in Caardvarks readers gallery this weekend. I was very honored. They showed one of my cards I did awhile back with my hand carved rooster stamp. I was choosen to be a guest designer for the June 20th challenge! Yeah! Very exciting. Can't wait to get started.

But there is of course the current challenge!! We can't forget about that! Its to use a quote on a card. Well... I've been pretty big into hybrid cards lately so I couldn't resist but to do another. This is the start of it I made on the computer tonight. I plan on printing it out and spicing it up!

I'm thrilled with it so far. Its exactly how I envisioned it in my head. Don't you love when that happens? I also plan on printing it out onto a magnet via scrapbookplease.com. You can get your digi creations printed out onto 4x4 magnets. LOVE that. I plan on doing that for some cool homemade Christmas gifts this year.

I have a meet up with a friend tomorrow I haven't seen in ages. I am very excited. We're going to the haughty taughty mall near here that has all the "designer" stores. You know the ones. They have all the drool worthy stores like Prada and Gucci. I wonder if they have an Oilily store. hmm.. I'm sure they'll eyeball me like "how dare you bring a child in a stroller here!". lol
I'll be keeping Leo in that stroller and away from clothes racks let me just tell ya. He LOVES to try to pull down everything he can get his little mitts on. We'll proabably eat at California Pizza kitchen there. I am so excited!

I probably won't get much else done. Bought more Xyron stuff for the door, but unfortuately grabbed the repositionable cartiridge. grrr.. Need to take that back to get the permanent.
Well off to watch a little tv before bed to wind down the creative juices. I also went to the gym tonight and have not calmed down yet. I started this project of paper punching out squares of my double sided scrap papers to cover up this window on our front door. I put a black out film on it that is supposed to make it so people can't see through it. BUT they still can. Solitictors come knocking on our door and look threw the window at us sitting on our couch trying to ignore them. Its so annoying when they look through my house. I have a NO SOLITICTING sign up too. urgh!

Well no more.. I used my Xyron to make the squares sticky. Best part is they are sticking to my black out film not the actual window so I won't have my glass getting all gooed up if I want to take it down. I ran out of Xyron sticky paper so I need to get more tomorrow. I plan on doing a few other artsy things to this once its done. Almost to make it look like a piece of art hanging on the door framed. hah!

Take that solitictors! (biggest annoyance if you ring my bell and you want ANYTHING from me, you are soliticing. Why don't they get that??? If you aren't my neighbor, pizza guy or mail person don't ring my bell ya know?)

At After Five Designs, I'm participating in their NSD festivities. I made this hybrid card with one of their kits called Playtime. The fruit background paper is Basic Grey. The text Alpha is Blk Glossy alphabet soup. (Shabby Pickle) I LOVE this card. Its for Logan's teacher at the end of the school year. I always give Logan's teacher a gift card at Christmas and the end of the year. This week is also Teacher appreciation week, but I'm going in with the other mom's on a big gift.

Logan is running a low grade fever. I'm hoping he's not getting sick. Three schools in our county are shutting down this week because of the Swine Flu. I'm sure if Logan is sick, he's getting the roto virus bug Leo's had all week. STINKS!!! But I am glad to know what sickness he is most likely getting. I have to go to the grocery tomorrow, but other than that I'll probably be watching way too much tv with both boys probably and doing laundry. Exciting! Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-39609569594305494982009-05-01T17:45:00.000-07:002009-05-01T17:53:57.411-07:00Happy NSD day!Not much to show. Been busy buying up all the good digital deals out there. Spending eons...downloading....downloading.. Its what I'm doing now. Going to participate in After 5's NSD challenges. Hope to win some stuff. That'd be cool. I think I need a loan and a new hard drive after this holiday!

Fav things bought so far. Plus a billion dollar items at Shabby Pickle designs. Here's mine. I am in LOVE with this layout. I always wanted to get the story down about this little piece of treasure I keep. Just so future generations know what it meant to me and where it was from. I want to do this with more of my things that are precious to me. (am I the only one that the Lord of the Ring movie ruined the word "precious" for? I always hear myself saying it like Gollum. haha)

Well I'm already tired. Wish I had some new cute pictures of me to post on Facebook. Silly, but true. Maybe I'll take a few tomorrow. Tomorrow night my son's school is having a "fest" so we will be attending. Its a night thing, so we won't be staying long because of Leo. I don't want to mess up sleep schedules. That only tortures me.

Might still go to my parents. Blueberry season is in full swing at the farm near their house. Would really love to get some fresh eggs, blueberries and homemade preserves. Have to see how Leo does tomorrow. He's still been a little sick.

Last quick unrelated thought: Thinking of giving up tv. Crazy. But what all would I get done if I never watched tv?? Not that I watch that much, but I hate paying so much for cable. I could do better things with my time. Logan would mind a little, but not really. He watches very little and Lewis watches his stuff online.

Maybe I should try it for a week. No tv. Eek! I would really miss seeing Project Runway and True Blood when they come back on. Otherwise...eh..

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-5904111519078079742009-04-29T17:19:00.000-07:002009-04-29T17:26:43.558-07:004 fav digi layouts from SUTUCI've been participating in the After Five/Shabby pickle, So you think you can Scrap? Digi contest. Its been fun. I never expected to place or win, just had fun participating. You should honestly see what some of those digi girls can do. It blows your mind. I'm still learning and plugging away. I feel I do pretty good for someone who has barely a year of digi scrappin' under her belt. I'm trying to learn adobe photoshop more and more. The actions thing still throws me off. Getting brushes to save well thats another thing I am struggling with. BUT!!! I will prevail! I'll figure it all out eventually. So I figured this is the last week I'll post my layouts I've done so far that I'm the most proud of. I really do love all of these so much. Hope you enjoy them too.

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-70600046124895817702009-04-28T04:16:00.001-07:002009-04-28T04:24:47.126-07:00Holy crud a card?
I actually made a new card. Well three really but they all look like this. Its a hybrid card. I made the scallop label in Photoshop with different elements from Little dreamer designs. Most of it is from their new birthday digi fireworks kit. I then printed it out. Cut it out. Mounted it on red cardstock and then cut it out again. I then used Basic Grey's Balloon paper from the cupcake line. Inked sides put it on a blue cardstock card, added brad and pointer and voila'! My fav hybrid card thus far I've made. Its even prettier in person.

I doubt they'll be an creating today. Leo has a stomach flu yesterday. blah. I hope he's okay today. He got sick in his carseat yesterday and I had to break the whole thing down. Not fun. Today I do have a teacher conference. I almost forgot about that.

So lets see I will be doing laundry and cleaning and lyseolin' things today. Then a teacher conference. I wish I could go thrift store shopping and/or go to the aquarium with the boys. Leo will be up soon. Have a great Tuesday!

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27611434.post-65870096040755882192009-04-26T19:04:00.000-07:002009-04-26T19:07:14.051-07:00Monthly digi doodad

I hope to make one of these at the end of every month. I will wait a little longer I guess. Its just because its supposed to be "annoynomous". This is going to be the most random blog post ever. Hope you can keep up.

Here's one of my fav photos of me and the boys from Easter. I'm almost at my goal weight. Very exciting!
Today in the mail I got Lewis' prescription snorkel goggles for our cruise! I got them from snorkelcity.com. I'm thrilled with them. He can see through them like his glasses. Now he'll actually WANT to go snorkeling with me. He hated it before. I mean really though if you can't see anything it would kinda suck.

I forgot to get buttermilk today at the grocery for Lewis' bacon biscuits I make him for his breakfests. They are delicitible. I ramped up a WW recipe to make them. He loves them.

Next month we're going on a family cruise. I'm very excited. I want to make a small mini album to take with me to fill in while on the cruise. I want to use my polariod pogo prints with it exclusively. I think that would be so cool. Still brainstorming about the mini album.

My blog needs a major overhaul.

I'm tired. I'm off to go watch some tv and then bed. I have a kindergarten field trip to attend tomorrow! I get to bring my one year old in tow. Fun! hehe

Tyggereyehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06006706416069566633noreply@blogger.com2
