Next game that i choose for You is Crosing cup footbal game, and unlike previous it is fancy with all those 3d stuffs and effects but it is also a realy easy to use.

World’s longest golf course

You know that i writing mostly about soccer but also You know that I like somtime to add some interesting stuffs about golf. So here are some:

The world’s longest golf course, stretching along 1,365 kilometers (848 miles) of desert highway with holes at 18 towns and service stations, is to open in Australia this year, organizers said Tuesday.

The Nullarbor Links, which will span two time zones and measure more than the entire length of Britain, is expected to be completed next month and will host its inaugural tournament on October 22.

“We’re very excited about it. It’s been a long time coming and a lot of effort,” project chairman Don Harrington told AFP.

“This is the longest golf course in the world. It’s unique terrain, there’s something for everybody.”

The course, conceived five years ago “over a couple of beers,” is meant to attract tourists to the Eyre Highway which traverses the desolate Nullarbor Plain and hugs part of Australia’s southern coastline.

Golfers will stop at one roadhouse, play a hole, then drive on to the next tee—100 kilometers down the road in some cases. The par-71 course will take three or four days to complete with each player awarded a certificate.

Each hole will showcase a local attraction, from whale-watching to ancient fossil beds and a working sheep station, and include sights such as the Big Kangaroo statue at Border Village straddling South and Western Australia.

“There’s a lot of history and you can see all of that on a golf course,” Harrington said.

“Both Australian tourists and golfing enthusiasts around the world have shown support for what we’re doing.”

The course was the brainchild of Bob Bongiorno, who was managing a roadhouse at remote Balladonia when he came up with the idea.

Bongiorno, now living in Kalgoorlie at the course’s western end, said he tried hitting a few balls when he first moved into the Outback but got sick of encountering spiders when trying to retrieve them.

There should be no such hazards on the synthetic greens of the Nullarbor Links, although golfers who hit a stray shot into the desert will face a monster sand trap.

Short visit to North America

I wasn't there some time, was in US to finish some business, so sorry i couldn't post :) But I hope that You will forgive me. If you are asking where I been, You will be jealous :) I was visiting Grand Canyon Skywalk, and don't ask me how it was.

It was great but I was so scared that i can't describe. Actually I was going to Nevada to finish some business boring stuffs and friend of mine told that would be impressive to take me there and show something new.

Ok that was small update about Grand Canyon and sky walk because i was so impressed, from tomorrow i am posting again.

South Africa 2010 world cup schedule, as I promised yesterday is here. art of the Five African nations who placed bids to host the 2010 World Cup, was chosen as the host for the 2010 World Cup as part of a new policy to rotate the event between football confederations (which was later abandoned in October 2007). The other 4 nations were Egypt, Libya/Tunisia (co-hosting) and Morocco.

With anticipation growing ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, the official Match Schedule has been released (see below). Games will be played in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Mangaung/Bloemfontein, Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth, Nelspruit, Polokwane, Rustenburg, Tshwane/Pretoria between 11 June and 11 July 2010.

As of 17 June 2009, 6 out of 32 teams have qualified for the World Cup in 2010 tournament. As a host of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, South Africa automatically qualify for the tournament.

It started in nhl and I started wandering would this be same with soccer? The question came about because the NBA, beginning next season, will let teams sell ads on their practice jerseys and is exploring allowing them on game jerseys.

I understand the economy stinks and leagues are looking for any way to give teams a financial boost. But jerseys, to me, almost always have been sacred, haven't they? We accept ads on the fire retardant suits of NASCAR drivers because we know that sport always has been sponsor driven. We don't blink when soccer jerseys don't even have the name of the team because, well, it's always been that way. But when it comes to hockey, the team name is supreme, the look of the uniform paramount.

Growing up, I even rooted for teams in all of the major sports (outside my hometown teams, of course) that had the best looks.

EA Sports might be the king of sports and soccer games, but if you scour the review websites you'd notice the FIFA Soccer series doesn't fare as well with critics as other interactive soccer games such as Konami's highly polished Winning Eleven games.

The Vancouver developer must have taken this to heart because FIFA Soccer 2009packs numerous game-play additions, visual tweaks and improvements over past games. More than 250 changes were made, according to EA Sports, resulting in a realistic, responsive and feature-rich soccer simulation worth considering for "footy" fans.

Just minutes after the shrink-wrap was ripped off the Microsoft Xbox 360 version, it was clear this next-generation, high-definition soccer game had undergone an aesthetic makeover with more than 500 new animations and increased speed, now topping 60 frames per second. Gamers who played past versions will also notice the game feels tighter, too, with more responsive controls, improved kick mechanics and better player physics (including a revamped collision system).

Using the two controllers' dual analog sticks for accurate player and ball handling (and the B button to kick or head the ball), novice players can keep up with the game, but if you spend the time and effort to learn the dozens of offensive and defensive maneuvers, you will get a lot more out of the game, such as sliding tackles, crossings, fake lobs and step-overs. The artificial intelligence has also been enhanced, with teammates who move on the field like they should.

New game modes include Custom Tactics, in which you become the team's coach (and map team tactics to the controller's D-pad you can press on the fly), and a much-improved Be A Pro: Seasons option, which expands on last year's version with the ability to play four full seasons as a single player (moving up from a club player to World Cup star). You can earn experience points to spend on increasing your pro's abilities by completing match- and season-long objectives. Be A Pro: Online Team Play is also a new option, which lets you take your pro online and choose a position on the field.

MLS and europe soccer

For the media outlets that do not cover soccer as wholeheartedly as the Big Four (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL), you are bound to get this question frequently: Will the sport ever reach the level of European football?

The latest questioner was Comcast SportsNet's David Kaplan in Chicago during a Monday interview with Chicago Fire head coach Denis Hamlett.

First off, you will never get an answer from a Major League Soccer head coach or anyone affiliated with the league saying that it will not reach that point. Come on! Secondly, it's a complete trap because there are no numbers or data that you can pull out of a hat to support an enthusiastic "yes" answer.

Yet we keep hearing this question like a skipping record, probably because many other "Major" or "National" sports in the U.S. contain a global superiority image. Some people can't help but fish for the assurance that MLS is joining that group.

Hamlett utilized the best available answer - the Fire's recent scoreless draw at Qwest Field against Seattle Sounders FC. The typical 30,000 crowd in Seattle is far and away the best in MLS. So Hamlett gets a good grade for choosing the best tie-in.

But then the panel talked its way out of the argument. Kaplan brought up his friend heading to see Manchester United, which by the way is one of five European teams that average more than 70,000 per game. Many MLS stadiums are not even designed for a third of that crowd. And Hamlett recognizes the huge atmospheric difference in the European game.

"I tell you, it's impressive," Hamlett said. "Just from the whole process as far as getting up and going to the games. People looking forward to the game. They talk about the game. If their team wins, then the next week is great. If they lose, it's like they go on depression, and they've got to wait for the next week for their game."

I don't mean to pick on Kaplan because he is only one of a long line of people who bring up the topic in this manner. But until MLS teams graduate from their soccer-specific stadiums and show they can easily sell out their 20,000-seat parks, let's not even touch this comparison. So far in 2009, only the Seattle Sounders and Toronto FC qualify, and the Los Angeles Galaxy will probably eclipse the 20,000 average soon with David Beckham back.

Enjoy the international matchups and the World Cup qualifiers. Open up another deck at Qwest Field if you think you can fill it. Pack the soccer-specific stadiums and show your support for MLS, United Soccer Leagues, Women's Professional Soccer and any other league out there. Keep up the grassroots growth that we go on and on about in the hope that new generations of soccer fans will embrace the sport for the long-term.

Just stop trying to convince me that U.S. soccer is on the cusp of drawing as well as Europe. Their support is in a completely different stratosphere.

MEXICO CITY (AP)—Thousands of Mexican soccer fans had to forgo a beloved tradition Sunday, forced by a swine flu epidemic to cheer from their living room couches instead of the sun-soaked seats at packed stadiums.

To the south of Mexico City, the Pumas team took on the Chivas at the picturesque Olympic Stadium, decorated by muralist Diego Rivera, but its sold-out, volcanic-rock bleachers were empty. They tied at 1.

Also Sunday, America faced the Tecos team in Mexico City’s enormous Estadio Azteca as fans watched the action on television.

Only a few people milled around outside the stadium, with most of the city’s 20 million inhabitants hunkered down at home. Most of those who ventured out wore surgical masks, which were being handed out by soldiers on street corners.

On Saturday, Pachuca and Cruz Azul, whose team members are based in Mexico City, also lacked the live cheers and boos they normally hear when the clubs played in the central state of Hidalgo.

National soccer officials decided to ban fans from the three matches after health experts recommended that citizens avoid large concentrations of people in which the virus could spread.

For the Chivas-Pumas game, that meant reimbursing more than $500,000 to 50,000 ticket holders and losing more money in concessions, especially beer sales. Soccer stadiums on Sunday are usually like enormous open-air cantinas.

“Yes, it affects us, but … it is more important to prevent the spread of the disease,” Mario Trejo, athletic director for the Pumas football club, told Mexico’s Milenio TV on Saturday.

“We don’t want to stress the economic element as if it were the most important, because it’s not. Health is more important … preventing a death. We don’t want to give the idea to our fans that we are more worried about this than about their health.”

A top Mexico City pro baseball team—Los Diablos Rojos or Red Devils—on Sunday said it would play three games next week away from its Mexico City stadium. The games will be played in Coahuila in the north of the country.
