tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27380540.post-57816977204008811162008-06-01T21:20:00.000-07:002008-06-01T21:23:01.480-07:00Lakewood Church<p>We are looking for a church here in Houston and this weekend we decided to try Lakewood church, the biggest congregation of the nation (very close to my house)<br />I though if I was wearing something comfy like my jeans capris and flip flops I was going to be comfortable and I could walk to get my daughters to all her classes and not be limping with my feet hurting. I told my husband “it is so huge that nobody will even notice us”<br />I was so wrong! We ask directions and an usher lead us everywhere, up to get my 8 year old, down to get my babies, to the sanctuary… all the sudden I see him talking to my husband, I couldn’t hear because the band was playing and Eric said, we are going to the front.<br />We were ushered to the front by different people (security), it was so surreal.<br />And there I was, on my everyday clothes surrounded by VERY well dress people and almost next to Joel and Victoria Osteen. Then my husband told me that I was on the screen for a long time while worshiping so next week you may see me on TV.<br />It was a surreal experience, but good.
