Hello everyone. I'm sitting at a coffee shop in the valley right now, waiting for the Volvo guy to tell me how much it's going to be to fix the roof on my convertible, which is broken. Many of you have heard me complain about my purple nissan over the years, and having finally ponied up for a flashy set-of-wheels I am slowly drinking the gas-colored-kool-aid that comes with a real car. Wish me luck. With the top down.

So anywayz. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out to A Cause for Comedy @ the Improv. We managed another 15,000 ppl watching online, and the project is continuing to grow by leaps and bounds. We're not doing a july show as my partner company Causecast (causecast.org) is relaunching some new technology that would make james bond go "eh?", but look for us coming back strong, and technically sound live from the Improv on August 27th benefiting the Creative Visions Foundation (creativevisions.org)

And finally, here's is my latest track. My GF got me a keyboard and ableton for my birthday and well, I am in love with sequencing. Here's my latest effort I made special for Nextaid, our previous charity. As with my last effort I'm going for mood, melody, harmony and danceablility. Just think, you might know the making of a superstar DJ? If not than def. a dude who stays indoor all day hammering away at keys and buttons hoping it sounds musical.

On Thursday June 11th, Causecast and Ben Morrison will officially launch A CAUSE FOR COMEDY, a monthly comedy benefit series streamed live from the world-famous Hollywood Improv. Partnering top non-profits from the Causecast community with a rotating slate of the best comedians in the country, A CAUSE FOR COMEDY says that laughter is the best medicine, and the co-pay feels great.

The June 11th show will be hosted by Ben Morrison (Punk'd), and 100% net proceeds from ticket sales benefit global nonprofit, NextAid (www.nextaid.org). The line-up on June 11th will feature Dan Levy (Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," "Chelsea Lately," & "The Late Late Show"), Sam Tripoli (Host of the "Wild World of Spike"), the beautiful Whitney Cummings ("Chelsea Lately", HBO's "Down and Dirty", & "Made of Honor"), The Greg Wilson ("The Hottie and the Nottie", Showtime, FOX), a special guest set by Ben Gleib ("Chelsea Lately, NBC's "Wedding Crashers") and musical act J Chris Newberg ("Last Comic Standing").

New York - what an amazing trip. Saw so many old friends I love, and our gala for the Northside Center for Child Development raised a jaw-dropping $850,000! I am so proud.

But that's not what this email is about.

In roughly 12 hours I will be 30. As luck would have it, last summer while traveling with friends in Ireland, I had the pleasure of meeting members of a band called Seneca. Their album, which had just come out, is one of the best bits of music I have ever heard. And Tuesday night, on the day of my 30th birthday, I'd like to invite you to come see them perform, with me, at LA's Whiskey A GO GO.

Well hello all my friends out there all over the place.

As had been discussed in previous emails, I recently traveled across this great country shooting a new web-campaign for Honda's new Prius-killer, the Insight. We covered 3,000 miles shooting the whole way and man was it fun. I blogged, shot photos, and twittered the whole way too.

This month we'll be raising money for Project Angel Food - an excellent organization that provides daily meals and comfort for people homebound or disabled by HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses in the Los Angeles area.
