Someone outside of the Paul campaign has apparently taken out a big ad in the USA Today paper and Ron just recently raised over $4 million in one day through a donation drive that was not affiliated with campaign headquarters. John McCain made a move similar to Giuliani by denouncing support from people outside of his official campaign as well. Oh, and it has surfaced that <a href="http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/politics/2004014926_regan15.html">News Corp. tried to persuade Judith Regan to commit perjury</a> in order to protect Rudy's presidential bid. I'm not trying to play guilt by association either. I can easily see how people would be intrigued to vote for her. I've seen her support. Although misguided, it's real. What I really can't figure out is how any accurate poll says that 39% of Americans would vote for Rudy Giuliani to lead this country. I went to comment on the article, couldn't, and ran across a rather redundant commenting policy that I wanted to address.<br /><br /><br /><em>"Posts that contain racism, homophobia, bigotry or Antisemitism will be removed and the posters banned."</em><br /><br /><br />Depending on how you define antisemitism, it is either racism or bigotry. If you view antisemitism as being against semitic people, then it's racism. If you view antisemitism as strictly a Jewish thing, then it'd be bigotry.<br /><br /><br />I'm a Deist, which is basically the religion for freethinkers. If the comment policy were to be rightfully applied in respects to my particular religion and views then virtually no critical comments would ever be allowed. such change is specifically authorized by Federal law.<br /><br /><br />Some folks are trying to use these votes against him but a logical look at things shows that Ron Paul is doing right when he backs bills like these. Obviously I can't speak for him and I don't wish to wrongly state his views as is done <a href="http://dneiwert.blogspot.com/2007/11/ron-pauls-record-in-congress.html">here</a>. The above statements by me are simply a common sense way of looking at the various bills listed. But no, the statists and other nefarious elements would rather have our Congress spend days arguing about a conflict that happened a hundred years ago on the other side of the globe.Curtisnoreply@blogger.com
