Honestly, deciding to get Spotify Premium was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Found a NME playlist today and this Jay Z classic popped up and I've been listening to it pretty much all day. That and the related Artists feature has made me rediscover all my favourite tunes that I forgot about! I might share some of my playlists if people are interested? Baring in mind I actually like emo/post hardcore~ type of music, along with all the standard indie and the mainstream stuff!

I don't know why I think this dress is way too short because to be fair it isn't THAT short. Looking back at some of the clothes I used to wear its nothing! I felt like I was walking down the high street with my arse out today! The dress is from Topshop Boutique, I'd wanted it for ages (and everything else from Topshop Boutique!) but decided to cave and get it when I had to return a few things at the weekend. It doesn't count when you return things don't you know! Blue is a bit out there for me, but I know it suits me and will be perfect for my holiday wardrobe! It's a 100% silk, super light weight so I feel like I'm wearing nothing at all, and to be honest in all likelihood I'll buy the black version of this too as it's the perfect "me in the summer" style of dress! I think I'll have to buy some shorts to wear under it so I don't feel like Im exposing myself to the whole of London!

001. Had a pretty good weekend soaking up the sun and watching the Eurovision. The weather is to DIE for so I've spent most of my time drinking Iced coffee mocha's from Starbucks and sitting in the sun! I also went to a blogger event on Saturday which I actually really really enjoyed. Was the perfect mix of being able to chat to other bloggers as well as having brands explain their products to you without being too much pressure! I've also never seen such a well dressed bunch of people! Made me feel incredibly underdressed in my oversized black tunic and leopard flats! I got some url's of some bloggers which I still haven't gone through yet, but honestly their outfits all put my efforts to shame!

002. Week one without fake tan really went very badly. Considering I was so good for a whole week and then ended up fake tanning last night before I went out. Oops. I should really be trying to get a real tan rather than bronzing up! But I just can't resist it sometimes! I won a Xen Tan goody bag at the Bloggers Boutique event I went to! I literally cannot wait to crack that out! I've always wanted to try higher end tanners! I normally use St Moritz Dark Mousse which I reviewed on ETCLLYMLRS a few days ago!

003. I really need to buy a new foundation but Im finding it quite hard to decide which one I want to get. My skin has really cleared up recently, and Im getting fed up of the dull/cakiness of matte skin. I want something glowy, but not dewy, sort of semi matte and low to medium coverage. I can't believe I'm giving up full coverage though! Im so happy with myself! I have such an odd skintone I can't ever seem to find the right foundations for my skin!

004. I'm also looking for product recommendations of things I could possibly review while Im on holiday in a few weeks. Im going away for two weeks, coming back for 10 days and then going off on holiday again so I'd really like to use that time to try out some waterproof, tanning, long lasting products, summer essentials and other stuff like that while Im there. Any ideas of things I could try would be great! Especially things you like to take on holiday with you!

005. Im thinking of getting a new Mulberry purse, as I love my pink one so much! Would you go for brown or black?

Galaxy Essential Upgrades

I know I say that I'm always working on exciting projects with brands, Some I can talk about some I can't quite tell all yet. Despite the fact sometimes I ALWAYS just want to tell everyone everything! However, today I'm incredibly excited to announce something that I can actually talk about! I've been asked to partner with Galaxy and be part of their Essential Upgrades campaign. Galaxy Essential Upgrades is all about small things you can do to make an experience just that little bit more special.

Therefore in the upcoming months I'll be working alongside Galaxy Essential Upgrades, creating a variety of blog based content based on my ideas of “Essential Upgrades”. I'll be focusing on things to do with upgrading your life, wardrobe and makeup bag and many more. I already have so many of my "upgrade" ideas to share, things like D.I.Y's, must have products to add to your makeup collection, tutorials, short guides on making the most of the clothes already have and loads more. As part of my first ever post, I've been asked to introduce myself to the Galaxy Facebook audience and those who might not already know me! Although, I'm hoping a lot of you guys reading this on my blog will already know me by now!

I'm Lily. I am 22 years old and live in London. I did a degree in Graphic and Media design and graduated last year, However I'm a blogger most of the time nowadays. I also run my own jewellery store called JWLRY and work alongside various brands and networks on a freelance basis for social media projects. I've been blogging for almost three years now on my original blog LLYMLRS. Which on reflection I probably would have called it something easier to say, but it's my name without vowels! LLYMLRS is a personal style blog where I post daily photos of outfits I wear. Everything I wear on my blog are things I wear in real life, none of it is set up purely for blogging! In late 2011, I launched a secondary follow up blog called ETCLLYMLRS which is a beauty and lifestyle blog. On that blog I tend post about things I do, products I try, events I attend, things I want to buy and anything else that comes to mind! I started blogging as part of a university project and now its grown beyond my wildest dreams. I'm so thankful for the opportunities and some of the things I've got to do in the past three years because of my blog! I've been to London Fashion Week, Presented videos for a major fashion designer, Worked with high-street and indie brands as well as meeting some of the most inspirational and creative people in my life through blogging!

I'm mainly inspired by the people and places in London, other bloggers and high street shops. I love the UK high-street and try and make everything I buy fit in to my own style. As for a few random facts about me I love pro-wrestling, history (especially the Mayans), making frivolous purchases and tweeting way too much! Follow me on @llymlrs! Be warned though, I do talk a lot!

So a big “HI” to potential new readers who've come over from the Galaxy Facebook page to check my blog out! And to everyone else who already knows me I hope your as interested in whats coming up over the next couple of months! I'm genuinely excited to be involved with this project! This outfit photo contains two rare things you may not have seen on my blog. Me with my hair up and a full length outdoor photo! I've come to the conclusion that Somerset House is the only place you will ever see a full length outdoor photo of me! It seems it is only Fashion Week or when I'm there with people who are willing to take a photo of me I get one done! I wish I had someone to follow me around taking photos for me but I haven't quite reached that level yet! Anyway, all I've done today is wander around London aimlessly even though my schedule was packed I ended up sacking stuff off and things getting cancelled all because of the beautiful weather. I don't think I've loved and hated in equal amounts living in London today. It was WAY too hot to do anything! I wore my hair up as it was just ridiculously hot and hid behind my ridiculously oversized sunglasses! Big thanks for Victoria for taking these for me!

I've been at press days & meetings today so I've been running around central London like crazy. This is a pre-prepared post so I do apoligse for the weather innapropirate look! It's been so ridiculously warm today I avoided using tubes and buses were possible! I don't know how Im going to cope when Im on Holiday as to me it's been unbearably hot! Anyway, I wasn't going to post this look as I took it about a month ago as reserve stock but decided to post it today as I had no time. I feel a bit like a liquorice all sort with the monochrome stripes and the pink blazer but somehow it seems to work! I actually forgot I had this pink Missguided blazer so it was a nice rediscovery considering it fits well with my love of neon's and colour pops!

Nevertheless, I bet most of you are out enjoying the sun rather than staying it looking at blogs! But if you are inside, WHY ARENT YOU OUTSIDE! To the garden! I'm off to edit the photos from the Office and Glamourous press days I went to today as well as the rest of my New Look A/W collection post! Apologies for not having it up sooner but Silly Lily over here forgot where I put the memory card with it on (inside my purse!)

Please excuse my sorry excuse for a skin tone at the moment. I've given up the fake tan for a bit so Im ghostly pale (for me anyway!) I'm quite olive toned anyway so it's not as bad as I seem to think it is! The weather is absolutely lush today, like I said it would be! I think we are popping out for a few drinks in Clapham to make the most of the lovely weather!

I've always been a fan of the socks and sandals look, but its something I've never actually worn. I saw Kristabel do a socks and Swedish Hasbeens look yesterday and I really wanted to try it out. I actually really like it for some reason. I don't know why, I think with the outfit it sort of works in a London Hipster/Off Duty Model sort of way.

I can't say this jumper is something I'd usually buy, even though in reality it does look like something I should like. I'm not so keen of studs on clothes, I don't know why but they seem to really turn me off! I especially dislike studded shorts for some reason! However I saw this jumper on the Topshop website and I thought "meh, add to bag". When it turned up and I slipped it on I knew it would be the one for me. I love the slouchy oversized fit and the material has a very sport kinda feel to it (I'm not good at explaining things!) but it sort of feels like a mixture of joggers and a jumper I used to wear to school! There are studs on the shoulders which I think add to the slouchiness off the item as they are quite heavy and just make it feel a bit more draped! I thought I'd give you a little break between the mountain of disco pants outfits I have planned for the next few weeks and wear my much coveted pleather primark skirt! I always seem go through obsessions of different items, for example faux fur, my primark skirt, my zara high waisted skirt, pink clothes etcetc!

Today I've been messing around with a DIY I've been wanting to do for a while as well as working my way through my dreaded washing pile at least we have good weather so I can dry it! Apparently I've heard its meant to be really hot (for England) tomorrow so fingers crossed. I also sent off all the Filofax's that were won during my Filofax giveaway so those who won should keep a look out for their post man! I'll be tackling my ebay items tomorrow trying to get them all sent out! I can't wait for all the dirty looks from people at the post office! eek!

001. This weekend I planned to go to the Ballgowns: British Glamour since the 1950s at the V&A but I've felt really under the weather. Im a bit run down which doesn't help either. Instead I've spent the weekend at home, chilling and sorting out things in my room. Today I took a quick trip to Carnaby Street and went to Monki and MAC to pick up a few bits and bobs. I then over indulged at YO! Sushi Sumo Sundays so right now Im feeling very sumo-like!

002. Im so inspired by blogging at the moment. When I moved a few months ago blogging really was the last thing I wanted to do. I didn't go to events, accept products to review or, I struggled to even read or write blogs. Flash forward a few months and I love it again. Right now, I think Im more passionate about blogging and social networking than ever before. More and more I see myself posting 2-3 times a day on ETCLLYMLRS just to get that overflow of information out! It's exciting and fun and I really should make the most of the platforms I have!

003. My coverage of the H&M and New Look press days have gone down so well! Im doing more press days next week so I'll have tons of autumn winter stuff to post about. I'll have the rest of the New Look Autumn winter stuff up tomorrow! I do really love a/w so much more than spring summer. Im really struggling to find summer clothes I actually like that aren't hideously tacky!

004. If you haven't seen my hilarious email from my Mum about my lack of boobage then see here. Although she's right, I have a broad chest and small "breasticles" so Im really struggling to find bikini that flatters my figure! I really like this one and this one. I think the first one would suit me but the second one probably won't unfortunately! Any suggestions would be helpful!

005. The Kim Kardashian True Reflection launch I went to the other day was actually crazy! I do have some photos from the event but I wasn't patient enough to wait to meet her! I can confirm she does look like absolutely babe in real life and her makeup is completely flawless! I'll post a proper review of the scent and a bit about the event in the week!

As I didn't do a outfit post yesterday I thought I'd do one today, even though I wore this outfit the other day but Im also wearing it today? Confusing! Anyway, Its pretty simple. I bought the infamous Disco Pants the other day, mainly because I they actually fit this time I put them on. When I first tried them on the medium wouldn't fit, then the second time they fit but I wasn't happy with them still. I tried on the small on a whim a few days ago when I was on Oxford Street (I wasn't supposed to be shopping so oops!) and they fit do I decided to get them. Im not really one for fitting into something justifies the buying of it, but I thought I'd treat myself. I never ever ever ever wear trousers, I don't think there has been a single post since I started this blog where I have worn them. Yet I really like the Disco Pant. They are as flattering as people make out and as versatile as you want them to be!

Of course to do with my new Disco pants I had to buy a new top to go with them. As I don't normally like the idea of my crotch being out I wanted a baggy tee to just throw over them that still covered my enough to make me feel comfortable! I bought this neppy style tee from Topshop in a size 14 as it looked like it would have the fit I wanted! Then I just threw on some comfy shoes (I was at press days all that day) and the usual jewellery and done! Simple, easy outfit.

Sorry for the quick post but Im just off out the house again to a hair event at Jo Hansford's Salon! Today I went to a few press days and then I have a few more tomorrow and Im going to a Kim Kardashian launch! Pretty exciting way to end the week hey! I didn't actually wear this today, I wore it at the weekend but needed an outfit post in reserve because I knew I'd be busy today! Sometimes Im just so organised!

I love this shirt that I picked from Zalando when they offered me some vouchers a long time ago. I don't know if they sell it anymore, but its by the brand Reverse so it might be worth googling it if you're looking for a similar piece! As I wore this shopping I wore flats and my favourite coatigan from River Island. I also wore my grey zara messenger bag which has quickly become a blogging icon! To be fair it is beautiful! Im oh so tempted to get the black version as its one of the most versatile bags I own!

I've been asked quite a bit about my spiked loafers (worn here & here) so I though I'd answer some of the most commonly asked questions. That way I have a dedicated post about them rather than having to explain each time. I bought my pair off ebay from this seller for £53. I've wanted a pair of spiked loafers for a very long time. I've thought about getting cheaper ones but I knew in my head I what I wanted so it was prooving difficult. I ordered these after a long time of "umping and aahing" and eventually forgot about them. Until I realised I'd sent them to my Mum's house and she called me about a very confusing parcel that had turned up!

I do think the shoes are quite expensive for what they are. They aren't the best quality shoes I've worn, but then again I am trying to get a "look" rather than buying good quality shoes. I know for £50 I could have gotten cheaper, similar ones, but I was dead set on buying proper studded spiky dupes rather than the Topshop Vectra's etc. I find them to be pretty comfy and easy to wear as they go with so many outfits.

I'm a typically a size 5, and a small five at that. Although I think I'm a four and a half, but I buy UK 5's most of the time in flat shoes. I bought the EUR 38's (a UK size 5) over the other sizes as I was a bit worried about the sizing. I thought that if they were too big its easier to put insoles in that stretch smaller shoes. The sizing is definitely on the small side as they are a bit snug on my feet. Often I'm asked if I think they make my feet look "big", I can't say I personally notice the size of my feet that much but as they are quite heavily spiked so naturally they make your feet look larger than a shoe without spikes!

The shoes are made out of fake (I really hope its fake!) pony skin style material and metal spikes. While the spikes aren't particularly sharp, they are pretty hard so be very careful wearing them. As I've accidentally kicked my ankle before wearing them and its left me with a nasty little scab. They seem quite secure so I don't think they are going to fall off quite yet!

Overall I think these shoes are really eye-catching, and I'm always getting comments on them! They seem to scare small children quite a bit "LILY! WHY IS YOUR SHOES SO SPIKEY" to quote my baby brother! And I'm always getting dodgy looks on the tube. But I'm really happy with them and I'm glad I decided to risk my money on them. While they aren't as beautiful as the UNIF Hellraisers or the Louboutin Rollerball's, they are a good dupe despite their hefty price tag!

One of the benefits about my recent wardrobe overhaul is that I've discovered a few things I've not worn for a while. This red dipped hem shirt was absolute favourite of mine for a while but soon got shoved to the back of my wardrobe as soon new stuff came along. This black bow tie was also shoved in a box of belts and soon forgotten about. It's been quite nice to have a good look through my things and decide what I want to keep and what I can live with out!

Today I feel what only can be described as "askajsdhjasdsjkhd" otherwise known a keyboard smash. I think the weather always makes me a bit down in the dumps, but even more so today. I ran a few errands, went a bit wild in Sainsburys buying naughty things (the weather also makes me eat loads) and went to the gym. Same thing I do everyday! The man behind reception at the gym even commented that I was late today for my usual gym session. I didn't think other people noticed my crazy habits!

I bought this dipped hem top in Westfields at the weekend. I've been having real trouble finding things I like at the moment. With summer quickly approaching (although today has been a write off in terms of Summer weather!) I really want to update my wardrobe but despite having money I want to part with on clothes, nothing is really standing out to me! This top ticks a few of my current style boxes: it has a dipped hem, looks great with leggings and has a really unique cloud print. Im not 100% sure about the motif, the heart thing to me screams 915 at New Look or even Tammy Girl but Im going to roll with it regardless. I would prefer it 100% times without that design though though!

001. It's been a good week! I've had so much fun and next week is going to be just as good. I've got tons of press days to go to and Im also meeting Kim Kardashian at her perfume launch! (ETA: Im not literally meeting her, I'm going to her perfume launch and Im sure they'll be a photo op which no doubt i'll look terrible in) I've said before but celebrities don't really phase me, but I think Kim is a mega babe so I'm looking forward to it! 002. My ebay stuff is currently up on my ebay account (etcllymlrs). I don't trade under and other name so anyone who is using my pictures isn't me! Im well aware people use my photos all the time to sell stuff but although I've chased it up with ebay and the sellers most of the time they won't remove the photos. I do have tons of stuff to add, which I was supposed to do today but I've just been bed reading ASOIAF and slobbing in my PJ's! I keep getting requests to sell items I wear a lot or for items that I've been gifted neither of which Im willing to sell. I don't mind being asked to sell stuff but most of the stuff I'm looking to sell is stuff I've not worn in at least a year!

003. There has been such a good reaction to the video that I made earlier in the week. It wasn't as bad as I imagined to be honest! So maybe I'll do another in the future. Sometimes its easier to talk about things rather than type out stuff! Although the whole "youtube guru" culture makes me feel a bit uncomfortable hence why Im very reluctant to do it properly!

Another casual-ish outfit from me today, Although to be fair my idea of casual is different from most peoples. Considering I once wore a bright red tulle prom dress to go to the doctors! I've been chilling at home, working on stuff and running errands most of the day. I'm also getting closer to getting to my goal of running 10k as I did 8.4km today! My longest run to date! I've decided to do the 10k race for life so I've been training a bit to get back into shape~

Tonight (and tomorrow I presume) I'll be listing alot of my summer clothes that I wore last year on my ebay account just so I can get rid of them. Out with the old and in with the new I think! Alot of the stuff I've worn on the blog before as well so I'd keep your eyes peeled if your looking for a specific item I've worn in the past. Most of the stuff will start at 99p +P&P (which is so expensive now, thanks Royal Mail!) as its easiest and I really just want it all gone ASAP! My bedroom is so cluttered after bringing a ton of clothes home from my Mum's house at the beginning of the week!

Tonight I'm off to celebrate Glossy Box's first birthday at 24 Kingly. Im really excited for it, but Im running SO late so apologies for keeping this short and sweet or Emma and Kate will be waiting forever for me so we can go to Wagamama! Seeing as the event is a party rather than a causal event I decided to go for my Velvet Topshop skater dress that everyone had over the winter period. I really do love this dress but I don't wear it half as much as I should considering I paid the Topshop price for it when a few weeks later you could get a similar dress on ebay for a fraction of the price!

Anyway sorry to keep it so short! I'll be back tomorrow with a normal post! Have a good evening!

I was thinking a week ago that I hadn't bought anything from Primark in a long long time… then two gems come along at once! Last weekend when I was home, I picked up the Ramones slashed tee and this stripy sweater. I mentioned a few posts ago I didn't really own anything red stripey and now I have two items to add to my wardrobe. I like this jumper as I think it looks quite ~french and I actually bought it mainly to wear on holiday. I know its a bit weird thing to buy for holiday but its quite thin and lightweight and I think Im going to wear it over a bikini during the hotter times in the day to try and keep some sun off me. Plus I'm not that confident with my middle (its my problem area ): ) so it's nice to have a thing to throw over to cover up!

Today I've just been blogging like mad, hence the super casual comfy outfit. I decided to work my way through my epic stash to try and reorganise it and throw away all my expired makeup. I've drafted so many posts for the upcoming weeks! I actually felt a bit sad parting with makeup and skincare that I've had for a while, even though I know its out of date and I don't use it! I've recently bought some new storage recently which I LOVE, including the Ikea HELMER which is an actual godsend for makeup storage! I actually can't speak highly enough of it. I might do a post on some of my new storage actually as I actually love it that much! I've always been so protective of my stash and never really wanted to or felt the need to show it off, but I think my new storage really has swayed me!

I also did a super informal but fun video on my ETCLLYMLRS youtube channel just answering some questions from a tag I found on Youtube. Im sorry if the volume is super low, its normal on my laptop so I don't really know how Im going to get around fixing it when it isn't an issue for me! We shall see!
