Please pray for my brother's release from prison. He was with a group of boys who were bullied by a boy continually. One of the boys eventually out of fear got a gun and shot the bully, and he died. My brother was in the group, but he didn't kill the boy and was giving 20-40 years. We have gotten 4 lawyers, filed appeals, spent lots of money, and he is still in prison. I'm believing God to release him.

Please prayer for my sister's manifested healing from hepatitis C from a blood transfusion. She is a woman of God (pastor).

Appeals Court Bans Prayer 'In Jesus' Name'

WASHINGTON, July 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals today ruled that the city council of Fredericksburg, Virginia had proper authority to require "non-sectarian" prayer content and exclude council-member Rev. Hashmel Turner from the prayer rotation because he prayed "in Jesus' name."

Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, writing the decision, said: "The restriction that prayers be nonsectarian in nature is designed to make the prayers accessible to people who come from a variety of backgrounds, not to exclude or disparage a particular faith."

Ironically, she admitted Turner was excluded from participating solely because of the Christian content of his prayer.

Gordon James Klingenschmitt, the former Navy chaplain who faced court-martial for praying "in Jesus name" in uniform (but won the victory in Congress for other chaplains), defended Rev. Hashmel Turner:

"The Fredericksburg government violated everybody's rights by establishing a non-sectarian religion, and requiring all prayers conform, or face punishment of exclusion. Justice O'Connor showed her liberal colors today, by declaring the word 'Jesus' as illegal religious speech, which can be banned by any council who wishes to ignore the First Amendment as she did. Councilman Rev. Hashmel Turner should run for mayor, fire the other council-members, and re-write the prayer policy. And if he appeals to the Supreme Court, I pray he will win, in Jesus' Name."

# 1056 - More Chinese Developments - Pray!

Wife of Pastor Zhang Zhongxin Files for Appeal of Her Husband's Two Year Labor Camp Sentence; PSB Officials Continue Persecution of House Churches Throughout Jiaxiang County

SHANDONG, China, July 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- CAA has learned that Pastor Zhang Zhongxin, of Jining City Shandong, was transferred to a Shandong Province labor camp to begin his two years re-education through labor on July 6, 2008. On July 11, Zhang's lawyer Li Fangping along with Zhang's wife Wang Guiyun met with pastor Zhang in the Labor Camp. On the morning of July 14, Wang Guiyun, representing her husband, submitted an appeal to the District of People's Court of Jining City requesting that the court of Jining City withdraw the labor camp decision. The appeal has been submitted to the District Court and is awaiting review.

CAA also learned that on July 14, 2008 in Jining City, Shandong, PSB officials, along with an anti-cult committee, investigated Lu Xiaoai, a fellow Church member of Pastor Zhang. The policemen seized Bibles and Christian material from Lu. At the same time, officials in Rencheng district broke into Brother Li Dali's home and forcibly detained Christian books and a CD-ROM. Police summoned another church member named Li Da, but were unable to attain information from him due to a medical condition. Officials also investigated church member Lian Dehai. Lian was later taken to the City Public Security Bureau and was placed under criminal detention. Police then raided his home and withheld Christian material and a CD ROM.

PSB officials continue to persecute the churches throughout Jiaxiang County and have detained house church members according a House Church member list. How the officials obtained such a list remains a mystery, though sources speculate the PSB has been working with spies within the Jiaxiang house churches to help relay information.

China Aid Association urges all brothers and sisters in the Lord, to pray for pastor Zhang, and those associated with him who have been unjustly and unfairly persecuted and detained for their beliefs.

CAA calls on Chinese authorities to immediately stop the persecution of these Christians.

# 1055 - Prayer for little Benjamin

Hi Praying Brothers and Sisters,

Would appreciate if you lifted up our son Benjamin, 3.5 years.... We started to suspect diabetes 2 days ago, when he had to pee 7 times in 3.5 hours.... And drank close to a liter (1/4 of a gallon) liquid during same period of time. Day after (today the 22nd) we had his blood sugar tested... It was 11 on fasting stomach! 5-7 is normal. After having eating a little, it went up to 23! Benjamin felt OK, though.

Now it is night here, and we are all at this big hospital. Benjamin is hooked to a machine to give him insulin. Tomorrow we will see the doc and be informed about all that has to do with living with diabetes....

Thanks for holding Benjamin up before our Father. God is able. And I am very confident that He has all under control. And all things work together for good for them that love The Lord.

We are headed back to Mexico for another Mission Trip. This time we are going to try and build a small home for a Christian family in the slums. They are very musical, and have played for us at revivals in the streets. I have known them since the first trip that I took to Mexico about 8 years ago. The Father plays a guitar, the oldest son, about 15, plays the keyboard, the youngest son about 12(who has no eye balls) plays the drums, the only daughter about 10 and her mother sing. We will be doing this and ministering in the streets and services at night. We will be leaving on the 30th of Aug 2008 and returning on the 7th of September. We need about $1,500 for the material of the home alone not counting the other expenses. We will be staying at Casa Hogar Douglas a Christian Orphanage in Nuevo Laredo. 2. I just found out I am losing my part time girl as of Aug 15, I will still have her brother for awhile. The same week I lose a full time child, I have lost another full time child recently. I cant make it on the kids I have now, without more kids starting soon I will more than likely lose my home. I have no car so trying to find a part time job is very hard. Please pray that I get some babies between now and then. I watch a 4 month old(used to babysit his mother!) and will have a 2 yr old for a little longer. Babies or toddlers would be awesome so they could all be at or about the same learning stages.

3. Things have changed a lot for us this year, we have closed down both Churches to pursue GODS PLAN IN MISSIONS! So far the Lord has lead us to move to Houston Texas to establish a new home base, thats about as far as direction that I have, so far. Please pray for us as the Lord would place it on your heart. At present, we are believing for wisdom, job opportunities, and Missions Connections in Houston, as well as living arrangements, renters, and subcontractors. The move to Houston may happen as early as august 2008 so there is a lot to do in a short time, again please share with me any word the Lord gives you.

4. UPDATE/PRAISE REPORT/PRAYER REQUEST - My 6 months check-up with my primary care doctor went well, much better than I had thought it would. He said that I looked wonderful, my b/p was good, I had lost 10 lbs. [I had lost more, but gained after the fall.)

Then, the x-ray from my fall shows a lesion on the bone just below the elbow area. He wanted it looked at more closely before my next PT, so went yesterday afternoon to the hospital to have x-rays of it. Please, pray that there isn't cancer. I lost 2of my brothers to bone cancer. He knows my family history, of cancer, and he wants me to be checked when anything comes up like this.

Update on John, still hanging in there, called this morning to say, "I'm doing okay, Aunt Betty" His primary doctor is the same as mine. [The Doctor and I talked about him yesterday, and he said, boy that guy has a will to live more than anyone I have ever known, but he is a lot like his mom was and she was a fighter, too.]

SENATE INQUIRY INTO CHANGE IN SUPERANNUATION LAWS

The Federal Government has introduced a Bill to change the Superannuation laws to allow same-sex partners to benefit from one another's superannuation. To effect that change however they are removing all references to marriage, spouse, husband and wife in the existing legislation and replacing them with an all inclusive term of "couple relationships". This is just another step towards reducing traditional marriage to an equal footing with other types of relationships such as de facto relationships and same - sex relationships. The Senate has referred the proposed legislation to a committee which is currently reviewing it before reporting back to the Senate on measures that will "strengthen" the legislation and remove any perceived anomalies in the wording and intent of the bill.

Please pray:

* that the Senate Inquiry will recommend the retention of marriage and the terms spouse, husband and wife in the superannuation laws, thus elevating traditional marriage to the privileged position it has always enjoyed above other types of relationships.

* that Inquiry committee members will have a revelation of the important role traditional marriage plays in giving stability and security to the whole of society, as well as the individual members of it, and will, in retaining its privileged position within superannuation laws, set a precedent for all other legislation.

* for the strengthening of traditional marriage within both the Christian community and society in general and for the binding of those spiritual forces that seek to undermine and damage both individual marriages and the institution of marriage as a whole.

WHERE TO NOW AFTER WORLD YOUTH DAY

Can the remarkable impact that more than 225,000 pilgrims have had upon the city of Sydney, and hopefully the nation, be captured in a way that will bring the claims of the Christian faith more to the fore in our secular society. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT REACHES OUT TO INDIGENOUS PEOPLE

This week the Federal Cabinet has held one of its regular meetings in Arnhem Land as a means of meeting and identifying with the Indigenous people and to give them the opportunity to share their issues and concerns with our Federal Parliamentarians. It is this kind of recognition and interaction that will hopefully help to cement the breakthroughs that the National Apology achieved earlier this year.

* that from these small but important steps of moving towards deeper understanding of each others issues, that much larger breakthroughs in relationships and reconciliation will occur.

* that the eyes of our Federal Parliamentarians will be opened to many issues of great concern to the indigenous people and the nation itself, that often seem a million miles away when viewed from the remote confines of Parliament House.

* that those in remote communities across Australia will gain a better appreciation of the big picture issues that Federal Governments must also address for the good of all Australians and begin to understand that the tackling of issues affecting them relies as much on changing attitudes within their own communities as it does in whatever help Canberra can provide by way of resources and regulations.

PRAYING FOR ISSUES IN THE NEWS

The apology given by the Pope this week to victims of sexual abuse within the Catholic Church was an important step for both victims and the Church itself in beginning the process of healing for those affected by this heinous sin. It also however will assist in the process of healing the wound created by the breakdown in the relationship between organised religion as a whole and society at large, a wound that has given birth to issues such as homosexuality, drug and alcohol abuse in the lives of many, personal anger reflected in an increasingly violent society, and sexual and physical abuse by others across a wide range of situations. Pray that the momentum begun by the Pope's apology will allow this issue to be addressed and resolved in individual lives, and attitudes in society generally thus restoring the integrity of the Christian community as a whole in this important area of its life and witness.

New PBS program says Bible isn't true, stories made up

Your tax dollars helped fund "The Bible's Buried Secrets"

The Public Broadcasting System (PBS), probably the most liberal network in America, will present a program this fall that says the Old Testament is a bunch of made-up stories that never happened. "The Bible's Buried Secrets" says the Bible is not true. It is scheduled to air on November 18.

Producer Paula Apsell said: "...It's (The Bible's Buried Secrets) designed for intelligent people who are willing to change their mind. …it will give intelligent people who want to read the Bible in a modern way a chance. If we insist on reading the Bible literally, in 25 years, nobody will read it any longer."

Among highlights of "The Bible's Buried Secrets":

• The Old Testament was written in the sixth century BC and hundreds of authors contributed.

• Abraham, Sarah and their offspring didn't exist.

• There is no archaeological evidence of the Exodus.

• Monotheism was a process that took hundreds of years.

• The Israelites were actually Canaanites.

• The Israelites believed that God had a wife.

I have often said that PBS should not receive tax dollars. "The Bible's Buried Secrets" is simply one more reason Congress should stop supporting PBS with our tax dollars. Congress gives PBS hundreds of millions of tax dollars to help support the network.

As I was praying with Dick today for Lorie I received a revelation from the Lord. The Lord reminded me that He indeed uses all things by making them work together for our good (those who love God & are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28). We all have been praying that whatever keeps causing all of these infections in Lorie's body would be healed. We all have been doing that long before the heart attack occurred -- even since before when her knee was making yeast before it was amputated. We've been praying that the Lord would flush her body of infection. Well, today Lorie is receiving the answer to that prayer. They are flushing & cleansing Lorie's blood by doing Hemodialysis which returns the clean blood back into her body. Don't let this procedure shake you -- it's an answer to our prayers, and the Lord is using this procedure (part of the "all things") for Lorie's good because she loves God and is called according to His purposes. Be encouraged! Be of good cheer! Think of it this way.... we want God to give her brand new organs - right??..... so.... gotta have nice clean blood to flow through them right?? So.... in the process of "living water" flowing through her body (the LIFE is in the blood Lev. 17:11, 14) she is getting "an oil change" too. (Psalm 23:5, Psalm 92:10)

SUPREME COURT VICTORY - PROTECTING CHILDREN
Combating child pornography was the goal of the Protect Act of 2003 - and now the Supreme Court has handed down a significant decision, upholding the law's constitutionality. The ACLJ's amicus brief filed with the Supreme Court, represented 18 members of Congress - and urged the high court to overturn a ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit that declared a provision of the Protect Act 2003 unconstitutional. We applaud the high court's decision in the important case of U.S. v. Williams (No. 06-694). Thank you for standing with the ACLJ to protect the most vulnerable members of our society - our children!

SUPREME COURT VICTORY - UPHOLDING YOUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS
In a razor-thin 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that the District of Columbia violated the constitutional rights of a city resident by banning him from owning and possessing a handgun in his own home. The majority decision in District of Columbia v. Heller overwhelmingly showed that the Second Amendment could only be correctly understood to protect individual rights, echoed by the ACLJ in our amicus curiae brief filed in the Supreme Court, supporting the private right to keep and bear arms. This was another solid Supreme Court victory - and an important one protecting your Second Amendment rights.

VICTORY FOR GINA ...AND THE FIRST AMENDMENT
Gina had perfect grades - until she took a stand for her faith, in opposition to her professor. Her Intro to Philosophy college professor not only docked her grades, but also repeatedly derided Gina for her faith. Once notified, the ACLJ got directly involved. We sent a legal memorandum demanding that the school end its discriminating actions against Gina and uphold her First Amendment rights or face a federal lawsuit. Gina's rights were upheld ... an outcome we're certain would not have occurred if the ACLJ did not get involved. The California Court of Appeals has agreed to rehear the case regarding Rachel L. In February, the court issued a decision that, if implemented, would deny nearly all California parents the right to homeschool their children. The ACLJ has filed an amicus brief in the case, arguing that the right of parents to homeschool their children is derived from both the Free Speech and Free Exercise Clauses of the First Amendment.

Flawed Decision on Same-Sex Marriage

Bridget has a pretty bad accident on a golf cart that turned over when the steering went out.... Please pray for Bridget's speedy recovery and continued strength to cope with her injuries and her body's ability to fight infection in her numerous abrasions. WE HAVE A CHOICE - HUMILITY OR HUMILIATION

Let me share first my personal understanding of prophecy in light of statements that often confuse or distort the definition of real prophecy. I believe that true prophets sometimes predict future acts and events or consequences. These messages can be alarming or refreshing, but they are always intended by God to give life or improve life.

There are prophets who may, on occasion, foretell the future, but every believer can prophesy or speak words of life. Paul said in Corinthians, "Now I wish that you all spoke in tongues, but even more that you would prophesy." In my opinion, this means that when we speak, we should prayerfully seek to speak words that edify and enhance life itself.

When Paul encouraged people to prophesy, I do not believe he was encouraging us to predict future events, but rather to strengthen the lives of the hearers. We should pray that the heart of God will be expressed every time we open our mouths. We should never attempt to reduce the "end times" to a specific time frame or date. Jesus Christ will return quickly in the sense that He will come suddenly, unexpected by far too many. Believers are exhorted to live prepared for Christ's return at any moment, always redeeming the time.

All Biblical predictions will come true. All prophecies will be fulfilled. The misunderstanding of the Bible's truth is often man's finite attempt to comprehend infinite wisdom. Paul said, "If you think you know, you don't know as you ought."

Throughout history, from the Pharisees of Jesus' times to the religious zealots and intellectuals of today, people have been proven wrong. Inappropriate predictions, unwholesome lifestyles and the course of world events continually expose the fallacy of human wisdom. We need prophets today - not fortune tellers and wild-eyed mystics, but exhorters and edifiers. We need prophecy today to encourage believers and to correct the family of God by speaking words of life.

THE GREAT SHAKING

What I share next concerns believers in the New Testament church family and all whom God loves but have not yet received His abounding grace and abundant, eternal life. I believe the following things will occur before Christ returns or "the end of the world as we know it."

All that can shake will be shaken to the foundation. Those unfruitful things that do not pertain to true life will be revealed. The unshakable will remain, including the true and holy remnant. No one will be excluded from pain and suffering, apart from supernatural intervention.

I am convinced there will be a healthy church found on Earth when Christ returns - the true spotless bride, prepared, adorned in His glory, ready for the glorious appearing of Christ the Groom. He will come for that which is like Himself. This has nothing to do with how large or how many but a prepared body of believers determined by God. This prepared bride will anxiously watch for His return because of deep love, not fear or escapism.

God knows the hour. It cannot be determined by time or space, but we do know He will come for a people in love with Him and one another - living in fullness, free from fear, abiding in peace amid storms and turmoil, shining as unfading light in the darkest of hours. Their eyes will be fixed on Jesus; their hearts will be focused on His kingdom purpose; and their hands will be doing His work as faithful servants.

Those outside the family of faith will tragically miss all that pertains to life and godliness. There is no reference here to religious traditions that lack true expressions of life and love. These people, along with unbelievers, will face separation, death and the eternal consequences of their choices in this present lifetime.

Yet while we know this to be true, we must leave judgment, vengeance, wrath and justice in the hands of the supreme Judge. Because of our finite understanding, many things are unclear. But be assured that our God can be trusted with justice, mercy and judgment.

PLEASE READ OR SHARE THE FOLLOWING IN TOTAL CONTEXT SO THAT THE INTENT AND CONCERN WILL NOT BE MISREPRESENTED.

For several years I have sensed in my spirit some awesome and alarming things when I meditate on the Scriptures and pray. I have waited a long time, but I believe the time has come for me to finally share these impressions.

I earnestly pray that the free world and especially America - my home and the land of the free, where many choose to live as slaves bound by appetites and actions, demanding their way rather than God's way - may somehow be spared the horrendous results such decadent practices have produced throughout history. I don't want us to get what we deserve. I cry out for mercy for me, my family members, friends and everyone - even those who chose to be our enemies. I don't want anyone to perish but all to repent, just as the Bible expresses. This is the very desire of God's heart. Please join me in focused prayer.

I am convinced that brokenness will come to the church and to America. The choice is ours: humility or humiliation! Our population will cry out to God on our faces, desperate beyond comprehension, in unity of spirit and heart, longing for what really matters. The whole world will long for peace - not just national or world peace, but peace within. It's not peace as the world gives, having everything our way, but rather having it His way, having what only Jesus can give. People, not material things, will matter most. Our focus will be on love, relationships, family, joy, compassion and serving others.

Those who claim no faith will respectfully acknowledge the importance of our First Amendment guarantees. They will be accorded the same respect from the faith community. Open dialogue, debate and difference will no longer be rooted in a desire to destroy opposition.

BROKENNESS WILL LEAD TO TRUE CHARACTER

A change of heart and direction will take place in this nation. Brokenness will lead to true character, determination, self-sacrifice and a sincere desire to know and do what is right, regardless of the cost or sacrifice. The line distinguishing good and evil will be as distinct as the difference in light and darkness - the difference as clear to all observers as terrorists flying airplanes into towers, killing unsuspecting people of all nations and races, compared to those brave souls risking their own lives, giving of themselves, seeking to rescue them. It will be as distinctly different as suicide bombers killing innocent school children and the compassionate doctors and relief workers who strive to ease suffering around the world. There is the force of evil on one side and life-enriching righteousness on the other. We cannot continue to deny that evil is a reality, while tolerating and defending it as a mere difference of opinion.

What I share next is sobering.

I have resisted sharing what I believe I've seen in the Spirit, not because I doubt the accuracy, but because I long for and pray for what I see to be averted. I pray for a change of heart and direction, for true repentance to occur until our nation receives the truth of God, begins to live with the character, strength and faith that made America great in the first place, and allows selfless love to prevail rather than selfish indulgence.

As I said, I am convinced brokenness will come. Count on it. The Bible says God's Word is a hammer; its power can break our stubborn will. His Word is a fire; it can purify us. His Word is water; it can cleanse. The choice is ours: Choose life or choose the way that seems right to men and women - the fruit of which is death.

WE MUST WITNESS THE CHANGE OF HEART

If the current practice of abortion on demand, destroying the most helpless and innocent of human life, continues with bold, open approval, we will find all innocent life vulnerable to what has become the culture of death. How can we possibly expect our lives and our rights to be protected when we fail to offer it to the most precious little ones? We must witness far more than the changing of any court's decision - we must witness the change of heart that will no longer terminate innocent life, however foolish some judge or legislator may be. Rest assured, our laws will reflect the condition of our hearts.

We have made such an idol of economic gain and material possessions, I am not certain brokenness will come apart from the collapse of our economy and loss of treasured possessions. Selfish indulgences, revealed through sexual excesses and perversion, are promoted and defended as perfectly acceptable and normal. This attitude must be changed from within, and its effect will be visibly manifested in the lives and practices of our general population.

It's my hope that the church family will pray, seek God, turn from any wicked ways and see our land healed. I pray that unbelievers will respond to God's offer of life, forgiveness and grace, resulting in supernatural intervention and protection. God is described in the Bible as "a mighty fortress," "the shields of the earth," "our Deliverer," and "the solid rock." The intentions of evildoers can be supernaturally detected and thwarted. The enemy must be changed or defeated.

We must have God's power and protection in order to miss our enemies' plans for us. Without this divine miracle, unparalleled, indescribable devastation is coming to our shores - truly "the sum of all fears."

I'm not referring to the natural disasters we are already witnessing and the challenges that reveal our nation's soul and character. I'm talking about deliberate destruction directed by the deadly actions of evil men.

WHERE WAS GOD WHEN THIS HAPPENED?

Many times in prayer, I have seen agonizing pain and suffering resulting from a direct nuclear or biological strike in major population centers in the United States. I see masses of people crying out in fear and panic from destruction and death beyond comprehension. There is a cry for help and mercy, for a way of escape, for protection, for communication, for news of loved ones. Comfort is totally disrupted. A sense of total loss jeopardizes our way of life. Prayer is prevalent. People are desperate for help - even divine intervention. No one asks, "Is there a God?" It seems everyone is looking for Him, including those who once moved to keep God out of public life. Many ask, "Why?" Others ask, "Where was God when this happened?"

But people are not questioning the faith of others. They are looking for faith in others. There is brokenness and humility, along with humiliation, as those who once thought they stood firm, rapidly fall. Many high towers crumble. Households and communities tremble in the aftermath. Our way of life pales compared to the simple desire for life itself.

The only strength and hope for the future comes from those who are truly strong in the Lord. The most courageous prove to be the most compassionate; they understand pure love and willingly sacrifice on behalf of others. Their genuine strength of character is revealed, and people wholeheartedly seek to hear truth. They want someone to provide clear direction, inspire proper action and promise a stable, secure future. Prosperity is suddenly defined as life itself, rather than life's possessions.

I HAVE SEEN THE PAIN AND SUFFERING, AND I CRY OUT TO GOD, "HAVE MERCY!"

The life of privilege and opportunity is a distant, often faint hope, but it is actually possible for those who will endure the unparalleled hardship. For those of us who experience this horror, things will not be the same. Our true character will face a supreme test, and survival will depend on whether we turn our hearts to the Supreme Power, the One who gives life, the merciful, everlasting God and Father, the one and only blessed hope.

I have seen the pain and suffering, and I cry out to God, "Have mercy!" Then in my heart I hear, "I am offering it even now, if only it will be received. I will not force My way into the lives of men. They can choose whom and what they serve. They can eat of the fruit of their ways or receive liberating truth and life-changing love." In prayer I ask, "Is it too late? Lord, please help us." I pray for repentance, brokenness and humility, for mercy received and mercy shared. I hold on to God's promise, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy."

I pray, "God, break our hearts by the power of Your Word and the love revealed through the cross of Christ. Break our stubborn will. Humble us that we may be mightily exalted as we exalt You and build our lives and future on Your rock-solid principles."

Only right relationships with God will produce the necessary resolve to fight the right fight the right way. It is only through commitment to Godly principles that we will have the character to make the sacrifices necessary to protect and preserve the truly priceless aspects of life.

It has become increasingly difficult to hear transforming truth when much of the mass media and the entertainment community so blatantly mock truth, promote twisted lifestyles and assail traditional family values.

I am grateful that for the moment we have some national leaders who acknowledge the importance of prayer and faith. It is critically important that all believers pray for those in authority, because they must have the resolve and wisdom from above in order to make and stand by correct decisions. As we pray, we must remember: No political leader or party can be seen as our hope and security apart from the guidance of Divine Providence.

WE WILL BOW BEFORE GOD OR BE BROKEN BEFORE GOD

The only way we will miss the agony I have seen is by supernatural intervention - by God giving us wisdom and clear communication between all concerned parties, enabling us to uncover sinister plots.

I believe with all my heart that we will bow before God or be broken before God. America cannot continue to rebel and choose darkness when, throughout our history, we have been exposed to so much light. I am not speaking of perfection or perfect hearts. I am pleading for all to sincerely seek to share life, to know love - God's love - and admit the need for personal and public change.

Real repentance will produce the necessary change in people's hearts and minds, which will result in a renewed national desire to protect all life, because life is precious.

MOVED BY COMPASSION AND UNSELFISH LOVE

Our laws will begin to reflect transformed hearts of the voters and legislators guided by time-tested, proven principles. The family will once again be defined properly - husband, wife and children. Our freedom will not only be diligently protected, but its benefits and blessings freely shared. While enjoying the privileges true prosperity affords us, we will cherish the responsibility and joy of sharing what we have with others. We will not be manipulated or motivated by greed, but moved by compassion and unselfish love.

A major part of the entertainment community will forsake the promotion of indulgent and perverse lifestyles and seek to inspire us to rise above our natural, depraved tendencies. Their tremendous ability will be used to present great and admirable acts as was Steven Spielberg's through Schindler's List. They will use their great talent to present people and stories worthy of respect rather than those committed to decadence.

Let me make it clear: Caring people will no longer be merely cursing the darkness. As surely as light dispels darkness, when the light begins to shine freely, its effect will be visible and undeniable. History confirms the need to defend the faith, but in this day it will be the demonstration of faith's transforming power that inspires repentance and change.

I invite all who bear witness of the concern I have shared to join me in prayer, in pursuing the God of holiness and in reaching out to others to share our blessings, whether great or small. Let's discover that the "joy of the Lord" is indeed our strength and hope.

Pray, fellow believers. Please pray and share this message as God leads, while encouraging others also to join in prayer.

. For all to bow before God in humility and not wait to fall before Him in humiliation.

. For all in authority to have wisdom to make the right decisions and the resolve to stand by them.

. For the enemy to be turned from deadly intent and acts, and their plans and deceptive practices to be exposed, thereby nullifying their actions and protecting the innocent.

. For the ultimate defeat of all terrorist activities.

. For America and the free world not only to enjoy the fruit of prosperity, but also to compassionately and consistently share their blessings with others.

. For the Christian church family to live in oneness with God and the unity of the Spirit that Jesus prayed for, so the world will know we are truly His disciples and He is revealed through us as the ever-living Lord of all.

I am getting married in less than a month, and this is 2-years old case that they brought up because the real estate business went down recently b/c of the recession. I don't have to allow people to push me to the corner, and I don't have time for this right now. I have paid tithes faithfully, and Satan has no rights on me. Please pray for me that I will be firm and confident. I ask Jesus to walk before me, level the mountains, break the gates of bronze, and cut through the bars of iron.

It's interestingly symbolic: before the Groom will come back for the Bride, there will be lots of tribulation, but the Bride cannot take her eyes off Jesus.

Thanks guys for the prayer. I felt it!

Well as I suspected, I had to call 911 again, because shortly after I left for a couple of hour she fell again. When I got back she had an 11/2 floor time. Ten firefighters came by to pick her up again. Then I went to the store today, and when I got home she was stuck in the bathroom. They both screamed for help. Sounds like fun?

I had to pull her up by not looking, and then I was in a shock for a while ha-ha. Well, I also had divine appointments at the store.

The whole thing is my fault because I prayed that she will treat the old guy with more respect. Then I heard the fall and the screaming.

I got the punishment to.... now I have to do everything! I also prayed that she will realize that she desperately need to lose weight. I guess she kind of have a hint. They are actually extremely nice Christian people and they treat me like a son ...as you can tell. So pray for instantaneous weight loss for both of them, on top of the quick recovery of Sandra's fractured upper left arm and my decomposing mind.
