Our genealogy has been traced pretty well back through upstate New York and Nantucket Island. Don't know of any kin who came through South Dakota, and my own genealogy studies (though light) hasn't turned up any kin with the "s" on the end of the name. Anyway it is quite interesting to run across people with the same or similar names. My name is Traci Bunkers--this post of yours mentioned a Tracy, which is why I got an alert for it. Also, I have an uncle named Mike Bunkers. I thought this was all too interesting, so I wanted to drop you a note. I wonder if we are related. My sister has worked on our genealogy, and I believe we do have relatives without the "s" on the end of Bunker.
