Monday May 8th 2006Seven of Cups.

Cups relates to the emotions.

The Seven of Cups relates to dissappointment and our emotional response to it. It is easy to throw away our trust and aspirations when presented with dissappointment, but life is not about getting what we want, but about developing ourselves.

When taking a driving examination, we are not failed if we stall the engine, but can be failed on how we respond if we stall it. If we panic, get flustered, or swear and get aggressive, we are not yet considered safe enough to drive and most likely will be failed.

The global dissappointment we feel is with our human family, now stripped of religious and political masks. We feel dissappointment in the hiden ugliness increasingly evident our human family, for which there seems little hope.

But the Seven of Cups shows six cups knocked over their contents spilled; but one cup remains standing its contents intact. This means that hope is a small flame which needs protecting with our life, for without it, all is lost. The small gleam of hope has influenced an inestimable number of people to saving their lives when there was apparently no chance, and to saving the lives of others.

Remember the uses of adversity, for strength is not built on pleasure.

Top Tarot Readerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01210845584006239926noreply@blogger.com
