We got a lot of good feedback too. So when we ended up in 20th place, I was a little surprised. But after watching video of the routine, I understand our placement. The routine is a little low on energy, and not as flowing as it should be. Bailey and I learned a LOT this weekend, and if he's up for it, we're going to try some new tricks next year. Looking forward to another year of disc dogging!

20th Place

Jz.http://www.blogger.com/profile/03715593076642706695noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26180174.post-47089761228555492902008-10-18T12:15:00.000-07:002008-10-23T12:21:14.050-07:00Crusty Classic - Livermore, CAWhat a beautiful weekend in Northern California! So Bailey and I jumped and danced our way to an exciting 6th place finish out of 32 competitors.

6th Place - Pro Division

Jz.http://www.blogger.com/profile/03715593076642706695noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26180174.post-59740217456218863552006-11-03T16:58:00.000-08:002007-07-18T17:05:23.330-07:00UFO Major - Scottsdale, AZWell this is the big LAST CHANCE qualifying event for those not invited to the big shows of the UFO Finals and Ashley Whippet Invitational (Combined into the same competition) in Scottsdale Arizona. This event is held on Friday, and if you qualify by obtaining enough UFO points you get to participate over the weekend.

Well, we go out and put up our best freestyle round ever at 32.9 points only to follow it up with one of our worst Toss & Catch rounds of 9 points.

We ended up in 18th Place for the day (not so bad when you think that these are competitors from all around the country) and we end up a point or two short of qualifying for the event. Disappointing, but this event has SOOO much going on that Bailey and I had a blast anyway.

So...

18th Place - Open

Jz.http://www.blogger.com/profile/03715593076642706695noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26180174.post-64882041873845473792006-10-21T16:51:00.000-07:002007-07-18T16:56:22.682-07:00Crusty Classic - Lodi, CAWhat fun this two day competition was! I believe the highest reasonably possible is around 24 points, so not too shabby by my boy.

Bailey loves the circle competition.
