Seeing that I was a smoker myself and ended up with copd (a smokers disease). You are right-on about being told how bad it is for you and you should quit. That doesn't work. You have to decide for yourself to make the decision to quit, and if at first you don't succeed, try and try again. I hope you never have to make the decision to smoke or to breathe like I did. I'm rooting for you and as I have always done to make you do something is to tell you that you can't, and to prove me wrong you would do it. So, I bet you can"t.
Bloggers' mommvwhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13054126016991224480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2615119924430331581.post-60824317940018592452008-10-09T09:55:00.000-07:002008-10-09T09:55:00.000-07:00When I quit smoking I didn't have the faith in mys...When I quit smoking I didn't have the faith in myself to say anything about out loud to anyone "just in case" - I just stopped. After a while people noticed, and I finally mentioned "oh, by the way..." I commend your bravery in being so public.Laurelhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12433471712056660588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2615119924430331581.post-11609566438168094242008-10-08T15:49:00.000-07:002008-10-08T15:49:00.000-07:00Brian I support you 100% and I will join you in yo...Brian I support you 100% and I will join you in your quest to quit. When I used to smoke a pack a day and decided I wanted to quit (which I never completely did as you know), one thing that helped me was getting my friends on board. Once people knew I was trying to quit, they stopped asking me if I wanted to go have a smoke and that helped a lot. The hardest part for me was being around people that smoked. I hope you are successful and are able free yourself from the bondage of addiction!

-Patrickpjshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07851349004520620062noreply@blogger.com
