Kianga (Kee an ga) is swahili and means "burst of sunshine." Given the colt's palamino color and energy, the name fits him perfectly. He is the offspring of Stormy, our palamino stallion, and Glory, our chestnut mare. Glory shares the same birthday as her daughter, March 11th. Glory turned 23 and Strawberry turned 3. Mystical Merlin turned 3 only 4 days after Strawberry. There are many more birthdays at the Farm in March.
