There's a very simple thing you can do to increase profits from your email list. When new subscribers sign up for your Aweber list, be sure to sell a product on the Thank You page.

Gernally people want to sign up for your list becuase you are offering something they they want access to now. A tip, a free report, access to a teleseminar, etc. While they are in the "I want information" stage, stike while the iron is hot.

You do this by making an offer in the 'thank you for subsribing' page. You coudl say, "your teleseminar will be available tomorrow. In the meantime I recommend you check out X product, which taught me how to do X."

Or - have the thank you page redirect to an affiliate product after 5 seconds. If you find the right product with strong copy, it will do the selling for you. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Now don't direct them to any old product. Make sure it is something valuable. Otherwise you'll just get a high rate of returns or no conversions to purchase.

Aweber also lets you create an unlimited number of autoresponders, which is another great way to immediately follow up with your new subscriber with multiple messages regarding an offer. Just remember, don't include more than one product per an email.

How to Increase Clikthru

Affiliate marketing, in some respects is a clickthru numbers game. Generally speaking, the more clicks you get the more affiliate sales you will get.

But what if you not only got more clickthrus, but actually increased the quality of those clicks. In other words, clicks that actually made you money.

There is a way to do this with the content you deliver. If you make your content more personable and regular, your readers are more likely to click on the links you recommend and purchase from you . . . which means bigger affiliate checks.

A blog is a great way to accomplish this, but there is another tool that internet marketers use to build relationships. Email.

By creating an email list, and regularly sending an email to those people on your list, you quickly build a relationship. In turn, those emails will draw people back to your website or direct them to click your links.

The first time I got my website on the front page of Google, it was a complete mistake. I couldn't believe it. I literally built a website, posted a couple ads about what I promoted, and the next morning I tried some keyword searches in Google just for click. Bam! There I was, all the way at the top.

How the hell does a brand new website do this?

All you have to do is get a link to your site listed on a highly ranked site that Google crawls all day long. There are a couple that you can quickly and easily do this:

Craigslist - look in San Francisco or other cities that have been on there for a long time
USFreeads - This one is the king to get listed quickly. Craiglist has pretty strict moderators that knock down your ads before they get posted. USFreeads is Craigslist with no rules.
Yahoo Answers
Start a Squidoo lens

Just do these couple things and you'll get listed incredibly fast. If all you are doing is promoting an affiliate link, you don't even need to have a website. The commissions will start coming in almost instantly with the right product and right keywords!

I want to share with you my Article Submitter review. The other day I mentioned that the secret to my success has been building high quality one-way links to my websites. This drives more traffic to my websites than any other method, and it helps my websites rank higher in search engines.

While article submission as a search engine strategy has been around for as long as internet marketing, it is a tried and true method that still works. But for some reason many people don't do it. Why it is the stupidest videos on YouTube attract millions of viewers? Imagine if these people were internet marketers. They could transform those viewers into hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Obviously web marketers do see the potential of having a YouTube campaign to help drive traffic. Get one hot video, and BAM, it’s a viral machine. Bloggers start posting your video on their blogs, it hits Digg’s front page and receives a ton of Stumbles, and all the MySpace kids start ranging about it.

Open the flood gates and turn up your bandwidth because thousands of visitors are coming to your site a day. Those visitors are going to click your Adsense ads, make some affiliate purchases, and if you have a newsletter you’ll increase your subscribers – which means even more money down the road.

Driving traffic with YouTube videos is really not hard though. Even an okay video will bring modes traffic – and who knows what will happen two years from now after its received thousands, maybe millions of views.

The YouTube videos that have been the most successful for me are “how to,” instructional videos. Just make sure to mention your site multiple times (obviously), and don’t forget to put a link in your description. This is clickable.

Make sure to submit your videos to other places other than YouTube, such as Google Video and Yahoo. Also, try making a 3 part series, and try to get views to participate by leaving comments. Let’s just say that I’ve read a lot of internet marketing books since I’ve started doing this in 1999. It’s rare that I come across a book that doesn’t just re-hash the same stuff that is already out there.

Confessions of a Lazy Super-Affiliate is an exception. This book has some great ideas, SEO tips, link building strategies and keyword formulas I never even heard of. I am sure that the strategies discussed in this book will help me make more money online.

What I love about Confessions of a Lazy Super-Affiliate is that there is finally an author that is willing to tell you the truth. While there are some very good books out there, most authors never really reveal all of their best secrets to you. Instead they just brush over basic topics to get you up and running. After all, if everyone knew these tricks they wouldn’t work anymore.

In this book you have unique real strategies that work. Other internet marketers are trying to get you to find “undiscovered niche markets” that in actuality will never bring you the amount of traffic you need in order to serious money. In Confessions of a Lazy Super-Affiliate the author tells you the opposite – go where the competition is.

That’s right! Go to crowded topics, where there are thousands of websites already. The reason there are thousands of sites or products for these topics is because they will always drive traffic. Money, weight loss, acne, stock trading etc. These people will search and search for the perfect solution to their problem. Why do you think the late night infomercials never change!

In this book you’ll learn some great tips to get you listed on Google, but according to this strategy it really doesn’t matter if you end up on page 20 of Google. You’ll still make money.

Why? You are targeting desperate visitors in markets with major demand. People who are desperate for solutions to their problem. And guess what? When they are desperate they are willing to pull out their credit card if you can point them to the right product.

Which brings up one of the points in Confessions of a Lazy Super-Affiliate. The best sites that make the most money don’t necessarily have the most traffic. Nope. The sites on page 20 of Google can make more money than #1 because they craftily wrote their content with one of the strategies in this book in mind: Don’t Sell, Point.

Here’s an example from the author:

Selling: “RegCure is absolutely the BEST registry cleaner you’ll ever find! It completely fixes your PC in seconds! Why not try it out right now - you have nothing to lose!”

Pointing: “Realistically, any reputable registry cleaner will fix your PC’s registry - they all do the same thing. And if that doesn’t work - there’s literally hundreds of other programs out there, just Google ‘registry cleaner’”

The best way to do this is to do it all in one sitting. Sit down, hammer out your posts, and then post them. But don’t let them actually go live yet. There are some ways to make the posts automatically publish at different times.

What I do, for example, is spend all day Sunday writing my posts for all my blogs. Then I click the post button on all of them, but before I do I use a quick method to make sure the posts don’t go live for a few days. So even though I publish 10 posts at once for all my blogs, only one will publish at a time because I use a trick to make them go live at different times. This one you are reading now, for example, posted 4 days after I actually submitted it.

If you just spend 4 hours writing for 5 blogs or so in one sitting, and then tell them to post at specific times during the week, your work is done. You don’t have to worry about your blog at all during the week. It will run itself. Just check to see how much money your making.

The greatest thing is you just produced an income generating machine for life by publishing those posts! Do the above and after a couple months you will be raking in some cash. But to make the big bucks, you need to know more inside secrets to blogging.

If you spend an hour everyday after work, on your lunch break or in your spare time taking paid surveys you will easily be able to make an extra $500 a week, but you can make a LOT more than that. Here’s the math:

$20 a survey on average
4 surveys an hour
That’s $80 an hour, or $560 a week.

That’s not bad for a little extra pocket change. But I say that’s on the low end because you’ll be able to make a quick $100 just from one paid survey a couple times a week, and there will be times you’ll be able to do 5 or 6 paid surveys in an hour.

Which Paid Survey Group Should I Join?

The best thing to do is to join 5 – 10 paid survey groups. in this case more is better. That way you are diversified and always have enough different paid survey options to choose from. At some point one group may send you some low paying surveys, so you can ignore those for the time being and rely on the other marketing companies that are sending you some great paid surveys. It seems to go in cycles like that. One will be dull surveys for a while, then a week later they're sending you the highest paid surveys. By joining 5 – 10 paid survey groups, you will always have plenty of online surveys waiting in your inbox to choose from.

With “work-at-home” and “earn money in your sleep” opportunities everywhere, it’s tough to find the legitimate programs that can actually make you a nice supplemental income for some part-time work.

As discussed in Picking the Right MLM Affiliate Program, there are many scams out there, but there are also a handful of legitimate programs that can make you some serious cash. Now don’t expect to fill out a form with your name and email address and immediately cash checks in a couple weeks. There is some work involved, but it can be done part-time and it can produce hundreds and even thousands of dollars.

Initially when you start your online business, you would be extremely fortunate to be able to walk away from your job and replace your income entirely online.
