THE INDEFINITE HIATUS OF ALL TEETH AND KNUCKLES

Hey kids! I wanted to write a quick blog to let everyone know what the deal with All Teeth and Knuckles is.

Basically, we're taking an official, long-needed break. After our tour last summer it was a rough time for everyone to get their shit back together. Getting new jobs, moving, and procuring new living situations was a bit more rough than we anticipated. Even still some of us are putting back together the pieces of what our lives were before giving up everything to try and take ATAK to the next level. Sadly, not as much happened as we had hoped. We want everyone that did help us out with a write up, a show, a place to sleep, gas money, free drinks, etc. to know that it truly meant a lot to us.

The music business is a different game since we were kids, and you truly do need to give up a lot to take your project anywhere. Right now, the parts that make up All Teeth and Knuckles can't truly give up everything needed to make this band a serious endeavor. We very well may be back for another album (which is already being worked on) and another tour afterwards, but for now ATAK is all done.

Our last show will be Thursday, April 17th at The Rickshaw Stop for The Instant Messengers album release show for Slammers. We're going all out so don't miss it!

Thanks again for all those that listened to our music, went to our shows, and bought our album. We hope it was as much fun for you as it was for us. Take care.

THE NEW ATAK NEWS!

What's the dealy-o, yo?! It's been quite some time since I've had a chance to update the ATAK blog / website, but really there hasn't been much to say.

After we made it home from our fun-as-shit-though-scarcely-successful US tour we played one date in SF immediately and then decided to take a break. New work and living situations were acquired by all three of us, among other changes. Sex Grinch and I started a DJ / production team called Futuristic Prince in the mean time, while Gio Fo'Rio and I caught up on our work for Pish Posh of North America. So shit's been crazy, but not so much on the All Teeth and Knuckles front.

Now, the dust has finally settled, and we're ready to work on some new jams, rock some dance floors, and maybe even make another loop around this crazy country of ours. This new stage of All Teeth and Knuckles starts with us locking ourselves in a practice space / studio in Oakland, CA to work on new music, rehash old jams, and build a new live set. While I'd rather not go into the details of our ideas for the new material, I'd like to say it will be decidedly more melodic and epic. Whatever that means. Just be prepared for new demo recordings and further developments in the near future. We're looking at a new chapter for this band.

Seriously, fuck every single person that has ever stolen another person's personal property. Fuck you! Fuck you! Fuck YOUUUUU!!!

Why all the anger, you ask? Well, the anger and spite for the thieving assholes that infect this world stems from the fact that the director of our music video for "Look So Good" had her car broken into. They stole all of her luggage and personal belongings inside the car. Inside of the luggage they stole were the tapes containing all of the footage shot for our video, including three live performances and one full day of green screen shots.

We are devastated, indeed, but we are also resilient! We will continue to reshoot for our music video, and will give you something even more crazy, fun, and breathtaking than before! Do not doubt us! We do not doubt you!

After a long time of recording, mixing, and mastering we've finally put up the first two finished songs from Club Hits to Hit the Clubs With! They go by the names of "Look So Good" and "Let's Undress and Listen to CSS".

NEW WEBSITE

The new site is fucking launched. So much love to our man Nigel Dennis for putting this page together. Club Hits to Hit the Clubs With can offically start being talked about. Everyone keep your eyes and ears peeled for shit to be revealed.

Here's what we know:
1. The album will be released in stores August of 2007 on Pish Posh of North America and Lujo Records.
2. Every track will make you shit yourself.
3. Bigstereo.net loves us. They did a little write up on us proving it.

Here's what's in the works:
1. 13th and 14th of March are the final days of recording and mixing the album with producer Edwin Garro.
2. A music video for the as yet unchosen first single of the album.
3. Tons of live performances including shows with CSS, Bonde Do Role, and Punk Bunny.

So much more is happening. We'll always be updating with pictures, new tracks, remixes, videos, etc. Keep coming around.
