It has been a crappy few days. I ended up doing some grocery shopping on Saturday and came home with a cold. It just started out as a runny nose that turned into a big head cold. I felt like crap all day Sunday and didn't do much. Yesterday I went to work for a couple of hours but then I ended up getting a fever and they sent me home. Well...the day started out great but then ended sort of crappy. Work went well and then after work I purchased a few of my books for school. I found some used ones so that was great!! So Cody and I decided to go out and eat some pizza. We had some kind of alfredo pizza and it was really good. Yum...Yum!

Then about two hours before my show tonight our internet went down. So we were like ok it will come back on in time. Well at about 30 minutes til we still had no internet. I get to see Jean and Wayne in September!! I am sooo excited. I just bought our tickets today and I am sooo looking forward to seeing them again. Heck it has been since February since I have seen them. We are going to have so much fun!!

I started thinking about school again today. Been thinking about getting those damn books and supplies. Actually I am kinda looking forward to going back to school. I always like the fall semester with all the football games. Cody has turned me into a football fan!! We are planning on making it to a couple of college games this year and maybe a pro game somewheres.

Ohhhhhhh I had to go back to work today!! It was sooooo hard to wake up this morning. I had to force myself to get out of bed and it is soooooo HOT too. I miss the mountains already!!

We are home!! We wanted to have a few days at home so we can relax from our vacation before we have to go back to work!!

The Tetons were splendid and they still had some snow on the peaks. Gorgeous!!!!! We visited an old homestead and drove by the lake. It was a beautiful day and sights were awesome. We drove a lot on Thursday and Friday!!

Why is it that the last week of vacation always goes by so fast? Anyway the past few days have been amazing just like the rest of the vacation. We travelled to Jackson Hole, WY on Tuesday. We came in from the North West and it was beautiful comeing in from the top of the mountain and then seeing the towns nestled in the valley!! That would have to be the one spot I would love to call home!! I really love nature and beautiful scenery!!

We spent all day yesterday touring Jackson Hole and just relaxing. I bought a few things and we went to a few museums. We went to the Ripley museum but it wasn't the greatest. I have been wanting to do those old time photos so we did that, which was fun!! Too bad the help wouldn't leave for awhile so Cody could fuck me on the bar in the saloon!! I got sooooo excited that I told Cody we had to go back to our hotel room right then!! So this time I threw him down on the bed before the door closed. Well today is our last day here with Cody's family and friends. We will be heading out tomorrow morning. It has been a little warm here so it will be nice to get back in the mountains at a higher elevation.

The past few days have just been a whirlwind of excitement!! I definitely enjoyed my fireworks on the 4th!!!!!!!!! Should have set up the video camera that night!! We had to hurry up the next morning as we slept in a little too late and only gave ourselves a half hour to get ready to check out.

We headed to Missoula Wednesday and spent the rest of the day there. Cody likes hunting so we stopped and visited the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation museum. It was rather interesting. I actually learned a lot.

Thursday we headed West as Cody has some family that live in the area. The interstate up here gets really twisty and curvy!! That was a thrill!! It was like riding a rollar coaster ride!! Well anyway we are spending the next few days here with Cody's family and friends and then we are heading on to see more things!!

There were a few things we missed on our way North so when we head South we will have to check them out.

Happy 4th July!! We have been enjoying this wonderful week in Yellowstone. It has been awesome so far!! Today is our last day here as we are going to continue heading north tomorrow morning.

We came in from the North East on our first day and it was soooooo beautiful and the weather has been spectacular!! Actually we have been wearing sweatshirts at night since it is so nice and cool in the evening. We have seen lots of animals and have taken a lot of pics and video for our trip. I think my favorite part has been Lamar Valley. The wildlife and the scenery was just soo beautiful there.

We won't be seeing any fireworks tonight but Cody has promised me that there will be some...at least in our room!! So we are about ready to head out for dinner and do some shopping at the gift shops here in West Yellowstone. I am definitely looking forward to the fireworks!!

Well we left for our vacation Friday after I was done with work. We had a long drive and finally stopped at a hotel around midnight. Saturday we did some more driving and some sight seeing here and there. We don't really have a schedule. Just get up when we want and go where we want to. We stuck mostly to the interstates so far, though.

Vacation time is almost here!! I am getting soooooo excited for our vacation. Two whole weeks for just Cody and I to relax and enjoy ourselves. We both love the outdoors so we are going to go do some outdoorsy stuff. Going to go see the Rocky Mountains and some national parks.

I just finished booking our last hotel room and I am so glad that is done. During the holidays most hotels were already booked. I think I got the last room at several hotels. Well anyway at least that is done. Now all I have to worry about is packing my bags and getting in the car on time!! We always seem to leave an hour after we want to. So maybe I need to set my clocks back an hour!!

This weekend was a lot of fun. Cody and I went to a toy shop and he let me get all kinds of stuff!! I got some outfits, shoes and of course two new toys!! One of them takes C batteries!! And boy does it have some power!! Definitely could have spent more but with vacation time coming up I limited myself!! One could definitely spend a fortune in those places. Well I have to make this pretty quick tonight. We had some rather unexpected visitors show up on our doorstep yesterday. Some friends from high school were traveling through and thought they could just stop by. And since we are such nice people we said sure come on in and stay the night. Today has been a long day. I got to bed late last night and then I had a hard time sleeping. So when this morning came I was pretty tired and did not want to get out of bed. But, unfortunately I had to. So this will be sort of short and sweet.

I got up this morning and went for a nicely leisurely stroll around the block before work. Which actually felt really good. I kept energized most of the day. Tomorrow morning I think I am going to try to go for a run. Thinking about doing some step work on Saturday if it doesn't rain. This weekend has been beautiful! The weather has been great and we have been doing a lot outdoors. We have plans to redo our patio but right now it is on the "wish list".
