On May 4 I am looking forward to a Hen Party with the Petunia City Quilters in Dixon, IL. In the afternoon there will be a workshop on Scrappy Trails and the evening guild meeting will be show and tell of our progress as well as ideas and methods for scrap piecing a treasure of your own.

February 12, 2009 the Hen Party is going to Kankakee for quilt quild meeting.
In May the Quilt guild in Dixon, Il is hosting two old hens. New pattern Stars Among Friends will be presented. This pattern uses the techniques from Scrapples in a medallion setting. It is a great design to build your own ideas from and uses scraps in the color family of your choice. Happy Quilting.

Scrapples

Pink color rendition of my purple scraps. I finished this quilt and gave to my good friend Dorothy. It is made from all scraps of pink!!!! Now I am working on a blue and yellow one. Merry Christmas!

American Quilt Society in Nashville

This old hen has been invited to teach at Nashville in August. I am teaching several classes on my patterns and one on the longarm. I am so excited and honored. My good hen friend Colleen is traveling with me and will keep me organized and on target. If any of you are going to be there be sure to be a good egg and stop by. October 13th is Nick and Holly's wedding in Boulder, CO For those of you who do not know me well Nick is the youngest of our three sons and his wedding will be in Boulder where Holly's family lives. This is an exciting time for our family and a great reason to travel. Of course I will be a blithering mess by then, but will work on a wedding quilt to bind the family ties!
