Independence Day is about Revolution. What the church needs today is a Daniel Revolution - A group of people who will stand up for what they believe in. Who will follow Christ no mater the cost. Who will be the people of prayer and change that the world around us needs. This message highlights the characteristics of just such a group of people.

The focus is on Daniel 5 and the hand writing on the wall. Like the political ads of today that are approved by the candidate they are spotlighting, so the writing on the wall in Daniel 5 was a message from God. And today as then

we can hear God saying, “I am God … and I approve of this message”.

A book I was reading - Stress Less by Dr. Don Colbert - became the catalysts for the series. There is so much more in the book than what came out in the messages, but as always, I encourge you to get the book if you want to dig deeper. It was a good read and helped me quite a bit.

Have I become a master over my stress? Not a chance! I am still a student on the subject, but I hope that this series of messages will encourage you as I was encouraged ... we are indeed "too Blessed to be Stressed"
