Egg Slicer

When we cook for crowds on the river an egg slicer is a great tool to allow us to cut many items quickly. Some of the items that this tool can be used for are mushrooms, strawberries, olives, etc.

Dave Stratton

Dave has been running rivers with Tour West since 1969, our first year in business. His father Frank is one of the original owners. In the beginning Dave was a child and would run trips with is dad.
He has now guided over 300 trips in the Grand Canyon(only a hand full of people can say that!) and at least a 150 trips on Cataract Canyon and the Salmon River. Dave has a deep love for the river. He is a great story teller. He has a vast knowledge about each rivers human and natural history, geology, ecology, hydrology and many other facts about each river that he enjoys sharing with his passengers while on the river.
One client wrote us after spending 16 days on the river with Dave. He states, "From day one to day sixteen all your guides were professional in performing their duties and they all had their own unique personalities. I admire Dave for his rock solid handling of the crew. His river knowledge and his ability to handle any situation that came up was a real pleasure to observe...They(your guides) all worked hard to make this the best trip I have ever had." J. Jenkins
