Just jiving just jiving. I know you are not a racist. Hope I didn't ruffle your feathers too much. I love your publication and everything else about GR. Funny how you picked a restaurant that demeans itself by using that name and that was originally called The Sonora Cafe until it was renamed because of a drawing someone did of a field hand that the Spaniards used as slaves and called cholos. El Cholo is probably one of the worst representations of Mexican cuisine. Sort of like the Disneyland of Mexican restaurants. Just do me a favor. The next time you are out on the town, go up to a nicely dressed Latin couple that you don't know who are out on the town having having some drinks and having a good time and call the guy a cholo and let me know what happens. The fact that you throw the word "Cholo" around so casually amazes me. That word is offensive to all people of Latin descent, it means dog, not of the purebred variety. The Spaniards used it for insult and vituperation. You should educate yourself a little more before you open your mouth (as I type this pulling my eyes tightly like Pau Gasol). With those great Spidey senses you should probably give up this whole Giant Robot thing and start fighting crime. By the way, how do you know Juan or Jose or whatever name you thought you heard was the victim here? Maybe he raped one the "Cholos" in prison or something. You knoow all latinos go to prison at least once in their lives.
